Yujun washed his hands in the hand basin and left the restroom. As he exited the room, he was suddenly struck on the head, his vision fading to black as he fell unconscious. Anyu stared at Yujun's unconscious body on the floor, standing above him as she made a phone call.
"Boss, is everything alright?" Anyu's bodyguard asked over the phone.
"I need your help," Anyu said, her voice trembling. "Come quickly."
"Yes, ma'am," they replied, and the call ended.
In the dimly lit room, Yujun regained consciousness, his eyes snapping open with anger. As he tried to make sense of his surroundings, he realized that he had been kidnapped once again.
"You're awake," a ladylike voice said from the shadows. Yujun, unable to see her face clearly due to the dim lighting, asked, "Who are you?"
"Haru, do you think you could get rid of me so easily?" the woman replied.
"I don't know who you are," Yujun responded, feigning ignorance.
"Haru, don't play smart with me!" the woman shouted, but Yujun paid little attention to her words as he focused on understanding the situation.
Restless and consumed by worry, Yuan paced back and forth, his brow furrowed with growing impatience. He had combed through every corner, searching for any trace of his missing friend, Yujun, but the elusive figure remained frustratingly out of reach. Yuan's anxiety intensified, driving him to seek counsel from his reliable companion, Lulu.
Turning to Lulu, his voice filled with urgency, Yuan pleaded, "Lulu, I can't find Yujun anywhere. Something must be wrong. Please, help me."
Lulu, with her calming presence, responded compassionately, "Yuan, I have distressing news to share. Yujun has been kidnapped."
A surge of shock and anger coursed through Yuan's veins. "Kidnapped? How could this happen?" he exclaimed, his voice trembling with a mix of fear and determination.
Lulu's voice remained steady as she explained, "We must proceed cautiously, Yuan. Rushing in blindly could put both Yujun and yourself in danger. Let's devise a plan to ensure his safe return."
Yuan, although filled with urgency, understood the wisdom in Lulu's advice. He nodded, his voice filled with a mixture of determination and vulnerability. "You're right, Lulu. Please, tell me where Yujun is. I need to know."
Lulu's eyes flickered with concern as she shared the location, "Yujun is being held captive in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. But remember, we must strike when the kidnappers least expect it."
Yuan absorbed the information, his mind racing to formulate a plan that would lead to Yujun's rescue. "What should we do, Lulu? Give me a plan," Yuan implored, his voice resolute.
Lulu, her voice filled with strategic wisdom, replied, "Yuan, we must exercise patience. Let's wait until tomorrow when the kidnappers may lower their guard. It will be the moment of surprise, when they least expect it, that we can act."
Yuan nodded, a newfound calm settling over him. He trusted Lulu's advice, recognizing the importance of a well-executed plan.
Although it seemed as if Yujun sat still, he was trying to figure out an escape route. However, the dark room offered no visible doors or windows. Anyu and Ari stared at Yujun with hatred and anger in their gazes.
"I can't believe my brother betrayed me for you," Ari said in a loud and disgusted voice.
"Yuan isn't at fault, big sis. We should blame this disgusting man," Anyu retorted. As she said that, Ari walked towards Yujun and slapped him across the face, leaving a mark and causing his lip to burst.
"I won't kill you now. I'll make you plead for death by the time I'm done with you," Ari said before leaving the room. Anyu followed suit, calling Ari a derogatory name as she exited, leaving Yujun alone in the dark room.
"Shit, what happened while I was gone?" Wanda asked Yujun.
"Oh, these? Don't worry about them. It's just a little injury. But I need you to tell Yuan that I want to conduct a shock therapy," Yujun replied.
"How do I do that?" Wanda inquired.
"I don't know, possess a body or something," Yujun suggested. "Oh, and tell him to come fast. I don't want to accidentally kill those two," he added, no longer paying attention to Wanda.
Earlier, Wanda had decided to have some fun in the system space after urging Yujun to go to Yuan's party. She had so much fun that she forgot about her job. But now, back to the present. Yujun grew bored of staying in the room and began to feel restless. He attempted to cut the rope with his fingers, scratching at it, but grew tired and frustrated. Unable to free himself, he sat still and closed his eyes.
Back in Empire Manty, the Emperor sat on the throne, staring into the depths of his thoughts. "Brother, you seem to care for me because you keep visiting," he murmured.
"You shouldn't underestimate our parents. Although we couldn't save Father from splitting into two, I have no doubt that Dad will make Father whole again," the senior brother said.
"Let's make a bet," the one seated on the throne proposed. "I will leave this throne and become a slave system like Luck if Father and Dad reunite."
"And I'll become your brainless servant if they don't," the senior one agreed.
"Fine then," the junior one said, waving his hand. A paper with the bet written down on it appeared before them.
