"Don't you dare!", Zaire reacted to what I said with a pressing tone. His facial expressions changed. I felt disgruntled by his expression. Why does he get so upset, because I said I will touch his spear? His expression denotes that he doesn't wish for us to unify. I know that merfolks and folks can't get married to each other, however, his response brought an expression that he wouldn't want to unite with me, even if I was a mermaid.

" Zaire is right, don't even imagine yourself holding a merfolk spear," Faith added to what Zaire said. Welcome to the real world, Zendaya.You thought you will respite forever.

"Why?", I raised a question.

" Because you're a mortal. The spear more than just thrust you. ", Faith clarified." It would kill you instantly"

"What if Zaire offers the spear to me? Would It kill me?"

"I don't know, but why are you so interested? I hope you don't think you can get married to Zaire. Don't let his charm fool you. You should recognize that he is a merman, and you a mere mortal." I didn't appreciate Faith's attitude towards this matter. A mere mortal, she is full of herself. Though I despised Faith's attitude, I loathed Zaire's response. I understand his first reaction but now he should respond to Faith.

"No, I'm not thinking that I will be married to Zaire. I was only trying to keep the conversation alive." I replied to Faith.

"Good, because it doesn't matter whether you can communicate with animals or you have fought with a clay man. You're maybe special but to the human world, not our world. Don't get ahead of yourself. You should always remember your place."

"Faith that is enough. She gets the point.", Zaire stood for me. What was he waiting for?

"No, Zaire is not enough. I have been keeping a close eye on both of you. There way you are looking at each and the way you talk to each. Don't forget why you embarked on this journey. Your Kingdom is waiting for your decision. You should have already left a long ago, but you keep postponing. Why?" Zaire tilted his head down, his eyes filled with fury."Because of her, Zendaya.Is she more valuable than your Kingdom's pride? More valuable than your parents?Than I?"

"Enough!, don't forget your place." Zaire reacted with fury and a lightning stroke. It is the first time that I witness Zaire this furious.

"Zaire", I shouted his name thinking that he would calm down.

"You, don't get involved. You're the reason for his behavior." Faith spoke, furious herself. Wind gusting up, and the clouds covering."He is idling because of you, a mortal. Yesterday he put his life in danger because of you. Why don't you return to your Village?"

"Faith ", Zaire's is facing Faith," I said it is enough"

"Enough, because I tell you the truth. You're supposed to be back to your Kingdom, selected a wife. But you are here, idling and this is Zendaya's fault."

"Please, Faith, calm down.", I intervened."I will return to my village.", and gushed my way out.

"Zendaya", Zaire ran after me.

He grabbed my hand and turned so I can face him. I flang him."Go back to your Kingdom and I will return mine."Zaire grabbed my wrists to pull me close to him, and I flang him again. He then grabbed, pulled me towards him, and embraced me.

"Why?", I began to burst into tears." Why? Why don't you let me leave? You're the one who kept saying I should leave."

"Not in this manner", Zaire's fingers caressed the back of Zendaya's neck. He understood what Faith was saying, but hated the tone. He couldn't stand Faith's attitude towards Zendaya. He understood that

one-day Zendaya will return to her village, but that doesn't mean is he is keen to see her leave.

" Not in this manner, Zendaya"

"Then in which manner Zaire" I smoothly shifted from his chest. Zaire stood quietly as he didn't have any response. Oh, He didn't have a response."Zaire, return to your Kingdom and select a wife. Stop idling."

"I will leave, but I like you to know something." He sighs, and smoothly caressed my cheek. "I will return to my Kingdom, and I will select a wife. But you should know that you're will always recite in my heart. My heart will be forever yours." Zaire leaned towards my ear and whispered, "I love you. I will always love you"

I caressed his cheek and whispered, "You will also recite in my heart, and I will always love you. In this life, and the life after." Zaire was about to nuzzle my nose when I suddenly flag him."Well, I don't have a Kingdom to return to, but I have love to dye for."I stepped back from Zaire.

"What do you mean?", Zaire took one step closer and I took one step backward.

" I love you Zaire", I confessed and immediately started to run heading towards the lake.

"Zendaya, No." Zaire immediately chased Zendaya after finally understanding her words. "No, Zendaya"

I passed every tree and every animal heading to the tree near the lake. The one that Zaire was perching on earlier. Zaire left his spear beneath this tree, and I was on my way to grab that Spears. If It thrust my body before contact, then I wouldn't have any distress. But, if it kills me, then I will rest in peace. I will know that I have died fighting to be with the one I love. I died for love and died trying.

Faith stood in front of me, attempting to stop me." What do you attempt to do", I shoved her so she can move on my way.

"No, Zendaya " I snatched the spear." No, Zendaya, No", the last words I heard when suddenly everything disappeared. Silence and Dark. I could feel myself fading away from Existence.

"Zendaya, wake up. Please talk to me."
