After the tiring therapy session, it was time to gain some nutrients through mouth-watering food. She had a wonderful breakfast, it was delicious and appetizing. Not that she had never tasted a pleasing meal but after spending a month on receiving nutrients through veins and IV feeding needles. She really enjoyed munching her meal. But the lunch menu lowered her smile.

"Oh my...What's this? I might fall sick if I eat." Li Na frowned snuffing the pungent and sour smell of the dishes, decorated in front of her.

It smelled like bitter medicines!

"Madam, this will be your daily nourishment meal." one of the maids replied.

Nourishment meal? Seriously, it smells like the whole meal was boiled in acid or corrosive chemicals.

Everything was worse than the tasteless soup made for a gravely ill patient. Apart from fresh salad, every other dish was either stewed or steamed smelled like medicine. She can see some ingredients that were not even cooked properly.

"Sorry! But I can't put this food in my mouth. I just can't!" Li Na was the closest to the food so covered her nose with both hands unable to inhale the sour smell.

Just the food's smell is giving her the feels of vomiting. How worst it will taste?

Even the nurse standing at a certain distance could not help but wrinkle her nose.

Li Na looked up to the two maids she can notice they were trying to breathe through their mouths.

Sensing Li Na's pointed gaze. Both of them thought, Li Na will make them eat the horrible food, so one of them hurriedly said, "Madam, Second Master had strictly warned us to feed YOU the whole meal."

'Ah! The dumbass Second Master is the real mastermind behind this, why am I not surprised?'

Li Na's face instantly turned sour, " I'm not asking anybody to eat, Ok. So chill!" then she resumed looking at the nurse, "Can you tell or point out any deficiencies or crannies in these dishes?"

Disaster managed! The maids and nurse let out an audibly long and deep sigh. As if their breaths were stuck in heavily jammed traffic before getting a green signal to rush out of chaos.

They expect Li Na to finish the whole meal while watching the fun play. She is kind towards them, very kind...

Covering her nose the nurse closely looked at the rows of dishes in a seriously examine manner.

Not even a minute passed before Li Na squinted her eyes knowingly and rested head on her intact hand. She was sure there is no way the nurse had the slightest idea of what was presented on the table. Let alone find a defect!

"You can leave." She told them to cover all the dishes. The smell was awful!

A chicken-head appeared just as Li Na wanted to leave. There's no way she can eat this. Better starving!

It was Lu Jun-hui who appeared, panting as if he had just completed a long marathon, " Am I too late for the show?"

Late for the show? Yes, the play had just ended. Sorry, do come back tomorrow.

Li Na scoffed. "Of course, you missed a great show."

'No way! I'm going to be a show for him.'

"Noo... you ate without me!" he puffed his cheeks like an angered girlfriend.

"Aw...You wanted to join me for lunch." Li Na said in a deliberating custom.

Lu Jun-hui pouted and sounded surprised, "You finished everything? Nothing's left!"

Finished? I would rather finish this chicken-head first.

"How could I?After all, you're working so hard. And for racking your brain, you need more nourishment than me. I can survive without eating, my stomach is filled with happiness knowing that you worry so much for my poor sake."

Worry? My ass!

The corner of her mouth couldn't help twitching slightly saying this. "You came running to watch me? Come sit. You must be exhausted running through all day." her honey-coated words and the melodious tone were clear to depict the fakeness.

Even the nurse and maids couldn't help tittering and had to suppress their laughter.

"No thanks, I had my lunch..." he actually believed and considered her heart-melting invitation. Until the nurse and maid couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Li Na glared dangerously at the laughing females. "Ladies, I won't mind you all joining him."

Everyone was speechless.

Although Lu Jun-hui was the main culprit who made everyone laugh at her in the morning, and they were just acting as an assemblage yet she won't allow the third party to have all the fun, among their arguments. They were not paid for being an audience. They were equally responsible for making fun of her.

Lu Jun-hui went and open the lit and saw the untouched food. "Shit! You damned woman, The food is not cooked to kill you." Lu Jun-hui howled and gritted his teeth though there were black lines all over his front, the corner of his mouth twitched.

Knitting his brows, he said, "You have to finish the lunch. I want to see the bowls empty"

"Please dump it in trash. He wants to see them empty," Li Na said looking at one of the maids.

Suddenly, Lu Jun-hui said concern, "Li Na, I'm not kidding. It's specially made for your health."

Specially? Why don't say, 'exclusively'?

"Fine! I want someone to eat with me. Not forcefully but willingly." she demanded.

Knowing, by just smelling the food one's appetite dies who will agree to eat the 'Yucks' and sickly meal. That person has to have a unique taste!

"Don't force me to, call brother!" subconsciously Li Na's back stiffened.

Is he serious? Can't be!

Obviously, Lu Jun-hui wasn't serious to call his big brother over something so trivial. Specifically, if it's Li Na who he was dealing with. He was threatening her cause she knows Lu Jianjun's cold temper. Only if she's able to remember!

Lu Jun-hui devided that he'll feed her no matter what! The food was specially cooked for her although Lu Jun-hui did tamper slightly with the taste for revenge.

Lu Jianjun particularly hired a Nutritional Herbalist to assist the chefs to prepare a good and nourishing meal for Li Na. To rapid her treatment so that the Doctor can evaluate her condition better.

Whereas, in his rage, Lu Jun-hui did tell them to cook sourer and distinctive healthy dishes. Whose taste would make her stand on feet in one week.

The dishes highly contained nutrient herbs. But disgusting in taste!

Moreover, the doctors are still using a moderate amount of drugs in her medication because the last time she passed out, those symptoms made it clear that her usage of drug for longer period made her almost dyfuctional without them.

Lu Jun-hui thought as he couldn't reasoned out with her in this condition, maybe from a very young age about twelve or thirteen. A cause could be an emotional struggle.

Who gave her drugs and how she get addicted to them, is another aspect of theories? Only Li Na could tell that.
