I woke up this morning to a feeling that I could not ignore

I could feel the difference in the air

And I wanna love somebody

It's been so long since I felt anything other than my own depression

But now there's a new me, and I can't help but feel so amazing

I know I'm overdue and I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop

But there's a long line of purple flowers trying to move forward

It's a little bit frightening, but it feels so good to be alive

I wanna feel the sunshine

Shining down on me and you

When you put your arms around me

You let me know there's nothing in this world I can't do
