Purified Souls Ch.11 ....DESPAIR.... Pt.1

Narrator said serious. ''Hi. It's been a few days since my daughter helped out that family & brilliantly destroyed the doll. Unfortunately, I don't think it's gonna be a good day for her. Right then, above the city....''

Rintarou said menacingly. ''Finally, after multiple imperfect attempts to get power...., I should have enough to finally get rid of the last Lumia...., that's been a thorn in my side for too long.

The sight of that Lumia line sickens me. (Laughing)

It's....time.....to..throw..them....into....despair.....'' Narrator said. ''Today is the day, ....that would change my daughter's life ever more.... At Lumia's....''

Estelle told us. We just closed for the day around 7:00 P.M. Marisa was upstairs. Estelle thought. This was a good business day. (~Sigh~)

Estelle told us. Suddenly, I felt massive intense energy of pure hatred, & anger. --This energy! ....I've felt it before.... This energy, --I felt it during that night! The night, --That thing took my parents! (Gasps!)

Rintarou said mischievously. ''So.... You can sense my energy? (~Sigh~) I suppose it would indeed run in the family after all....'' Estelle yelled nervous. ''--Who are you?! I don't see you!, -but I can feel you!''

Rintarou said appearing. ''Here I am....(Evil Chuckle)'' Estelle said afraid. ''(Gasps) It's you!! You killed them!!''

Marisa asked while coming down from the 2nd floor. ''Who's that voice? This....energy?'' Rintarou said. ''Ah-yes. I know about you....(Evil Chuckle) Your a demon. Doesn't matter to me though.''

Estelle asked nervously. ''What....do you what? Why did you....need to..kill my parents?'' Rintarou said with a smirk. ''Ah-yes. I killed them, because the Lumia's simply don't deserve to live. Along with the rest of human-kind.''

Estelle said frustrated. ''You killed..them? --For a--reason....like--that?!'' Rintarou said. ''Yes. Don't worry, because I'm going to reunite you with them.... ----IN DEATH!!''

Rintarou began laughing tremendously.

Estelle told us. He suddenly began releasing a whole bunch of dark energy. It pushed both me & Marisa back. It was hard for us to even stand.... What is he?! Me & Marisa got back on our feet & rushed at him with our weapons.

Rintarou said with a smirk. ''You think, insects..can harm me?'' Estelle & Marisa. ''Ughh!'' Estelle told us. With a bit of power from his palm, he pushed us back once more.

Estelle said frustrated. ''You! ....You must pay!!'' Marisa said. ''Es....telle?'' Estelle told us. I tried attacking him by myself with my sacred fan.

Rintarou said still smirking. ''Your attacks do nothing. Insolent girl. (Evil Chuckle)'' Estelle yelled. ''Aghh!'' Estelle told us. With a tiny bit of his power, he knocked the fan out of my hand & it stuck the wall, just barely missing Marisa.

Marisa said thinking. ''You! --Taste my grimoire's power!'' Rintarou doesn't even block it. Rintarou said. ''That tickles.''

Estelle told us. I took this moment he was distracted & I--STRIKE with my short sword!! Rintarou said with a evil laugh. ''That felt like a mosquito bite.''

Rintarou thought. How can I drive her to the depths of despair....

Marisa thought in that instant. Why do I feel....this....urge to..try....anything? Marisa yelled. ''Get....----away from her!!'' Estelle told us. In that instant, Rintarou tried to reach for my neck,

while Marisa tried to run at him with her Grimoire open. He grabbed her instead & threw her through our glass doors into the street. Estelle yelled. ''(Gasps!) YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!!!! AGGH!!!!''

Estelle told us. He grabbed me as I tried to stab him again. He threw me through the doors outside.

Rintarou said. ''Don't you know. That won't work on me.... Hmmm.'' Estelle told us. Then, he went outside, flew up & began sending his energy through the whole village.

Estelle yelled. ''What's he doing?!'' Estelle told us. He started sucking energy from everyone around, & everyone I could see was fainting.

Rintarou said. ''That should be enough. Look at me! I feel more powerful then ever!! ....You shouldn't worry.... Their not dead....yet....(Evil Laugh)''

Estelle told us. In that moment, I felt both absolute fear & anger. When I looked at Marisa, she was hurt & had scratches all over. When I saw, I felt something bubbling up inside me....

Rintarou said. ''Now. DIE AND..KNOW DESPAIR....!'' Estelle said getting back up. ''You! ....You hurt Marisa! You stole--their energy! . . . . ----AND I WILL NEVER SEE----MOTHER!----OR MY FATHER!----AGAIN!!''

Rintarou asked with a smirk. ''Your..point?''

Estelle yelled. ''(CONFLICTED SCREAMING)'' Rintarou asked. ''What's..this?'' Estelle told us. In that moment, complete anger took over me, & I began changing both inside and out.

Estelle yelled. ''(SCREAMING IN PAIN)'' Estelle told us. Suddenly, --My aura was filling with both light & dark energy. --My head was growing curved white horns. --I grew long nails. --And my eyes started glowing.

Estelle was seething with anger. Rintarou said curious. ''What are you? Hmm.... I don't know what this form is, ..but don't think you can win like that....''

Estelle told us. In that moment, out of my mind, I began fighting with skills I didn't understand.... Rintarou said. ''What?! You insolent girl! --You think, --you can hurt me!?!''

Estelle wasn't able to communicate. Estelle told us. I began trying to hurt him, slashing fiercely with my claws. He kept barely dodging, looking slightly afraid. We were moving all around the neighborhood.

Marisa was just waking up. ''Ugh.... Where....am....I?----Ahh! ----Where are they?!?! (Sees Estelle & Rintarou fighting) Es....telle? ....Is that you?? What...happened?''

Rintarou yelled. ''You----Lumia! Just die! Ugh! Your a pain in my side, ----that needs to disappear----like a good girl!!'' Marisa yelled. ''Uh!--Estelle!?!! What's--wrong with you!?!?''

Estelle seething with anger staring at him. Estelle told us. I stored a huge mass of energy into my claws then, tried to strike him on that roof!

Rintarou said with shock. ''(Gasps!) You!....Hurt ME! Agh! How!----could you!?!?'' Estelle thought in that moment. Wait! ----What..am..I..doin....(Faints)

Marisa yells shocked. ''ESTELLE!!!!''

Rintarou thought with a slash on the left side of his stomach. ''Agh! I'm----I'm losing power! I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE ACTUALLY HURT ME!! DARN----THOSE LUMIA'S!!!!

I....will have to finish her....another time! I was....so close...to finishing----them!!''

Estelle told us. After I..successfully sliced him, I....couldn't finish....the..job. I....failed.....father....

Narrator said. ''Estelle! Please--be alright! -Wait! --Wait!! Is that!? (GASP)''

Estelle told us. 3 days later. I woke in our small village hospital. When I opened my eyes. I saw Marisa looking angrily with a broken right arm. She looked like she was about to cry....

Estelle asked waking up. ''Where....am..I? Ma....risa?'' Marisa said looking anguished. ''I....wasn't sure....if you....were..gonna wake..up! (Sniff)''

Estelle asked feeling terrible. ''Ma..risa? You....were worried....about me?''

Marisa said with a few tears. ''For....some....reason, ....when I saw....you....just lying there.... I felt....strange....'' Estelle looked confused.

Marisa said looking angry. ''I....don't....understand..it.... I....was..worried....about-you!''

Estelle asked. ''What....happened....to..me? Agh!! (Pain from trying to sit up)''

Male Village Doctor said. ''Ahh! Your finally awake. Your 'friend' attempted to explain to us, what happened 3 nights ago. She said you transformed into some strange form....''

Estelle said in pain. ''Doctor....? What happen----(Remembers)''

Male Doctor said. ''The nurses checked you out. Your body seemed normal. The only thing we couldn't explain is that your body healed at a faster rate then a person should....''

Estelle asked. ''What....do..you..mean?'' Male Doctor explained. ''Think about it like this: Usually, a broken leg would take several weeks to heal, but you would presumably heal 1/half times faster.''

Estelle said in pain. ''Agh! How do I....have a ability....like that?''

Male Doctor said. ''We..don't..know. Hmm.... Oh-yeah! By the way. While you are mostly healed, we think your body was put through more then it can handle. So..your body will have a little joint pain. (Nervous Laughs)''

Estelle yelled pushing through pain. ''A--Ahh! Schh!! (~Deep breath~)'' Male Doctor said smiling. ''I think you'll be fine. I'll let you be now.''

Estelle told us. I managed to sit up & look around. I was in my relatively medium-sized room with a bright window. Marisa looked lost in thought.

Old Man's voice calls out. ''I--thought I recognized that voice. It's grown-Up! --Estelle!'' Estelle turned her sight to the left and saw a old man supporting himself with the divider in the middle of the room.

Estelle said. ''Huh? Wait. I know you....'' Old Man said. ''Yep. It's me. Gensei Byakuya! I haven't seen you or your father in years.''

Estelle said looking down. ''Uh...., Sir, ....about that....?''

Narrator said. ''I recognize him as well, Estelle. Next time....''
