Prophecy Failure: Mr. Reckless NOT Harbinger of Death

One's trash is another's treasure. Varun may have failed and died after being the Prophecy hero, the end of the chaos, Rahambose... but he wishes for another to rise, after he falls. By telling his story of the Prophecy Failure, he uses the last of his breath and hope, hoping for the real hero to rise. A secret superhero. A Psychopath. A nightmare causing dragon. The last survivor of the second strongest intelligent beings. A normal college student, barely ever travelled in his life, summoned to an alien planet and given powers. A normal city, never having seen snow, covered in ice. A normal friend group, who quarrel amongst themselves, left to fight against things beyond their wildest dreams. A normal girl, who can't take care of self, forced to be the queen of Pluto. A Prophecy Failure, worth telling. Will a story be enough? To bring about a hero? Or just another Prophecy Failure? At least heroes are real. But so is he, Rahambose. And so is the fact that: in the end it is ALWAYS Rahambose.

Chapter IX - Phoenix awakened (3/3)

Everyone sat in a small round room full of couches all around at the circumference. There was just a door to go outside and nothing else. Tarragon was sitting in between Varun and Fara, Ivor was in Tarragon's hands… creepy, I know.

"You kids have a question? Or just interested in my floating head?" Ivor asked.

"Grumpy as usual. Why not start with how this happened?" Fara asked pointing at the two.

"After you blasted off with Rahambose in that house," Ivor said.

"She did what?!" Aria and Varun asked and looked at Fara.

"Yeah, her great idea back in two thousand and two. She had decided that if Rahambose does come for her, she has more lives than him. So, she would blast off with him," Ivor said.

"And I got screwed for that plan failing as Rahambose was a red dragon," Tarragon said.

"Right… that is why it didn't work," Fara said smacking her lips.

"And you people knew dragons more than I did," Ivor sighed.

"So, after that you took me out of the rubble," Fara scoffed.

"If we did… we would never have lost track of you," Tarragon said.

"Wait, you forgot to?" Fara asked, with a bit of temperament in her tone.

"No… you just weren't there," Tarragon said.

"We couldn't find you and then Line and Tony said maybe it was how it's supposed to be. We don't know much about your rebirths so, couldn't do a thing," Ivor said.

"Line…?" Fara asked.

"Who?" Varun asked.

"Relax Varun," Aria sighed.

"Line and Tony came?" Fara asked.

"Yeah… they visited us that once and left us with Yjale," Ivor said.

"Yjale Shred…? Is he…?" Fara asked.

"Here? No. Alive? Yes," Ivor said.

"Everyone except Sam, Max and Aster, lives," Tarragon sighed. "Oh and Minerva," Tarragon frowned.

"Oh… Rahambose?" Fara asked.

"Don't know, they said we could get a cardiac arrest if we heard. Well, if they had returned they'd have seen the irony of how I don't have a heart now," Ivor scoffed.

"Why did you even do this to yourself?" Aria asked.

"Yeah, Villers, tell them," Tarragon said.

"Fara used to make me make her tea all the time," Ivor sighed.

"Wow," Varun laughed.

"That reasoning is the best," Fara laughed.

"Yeah-yeah nice fun kids. Now to the serious topic," Ivor said.

"You are going against Rahambose aren't you? Are you all dragons left on Earth?" Tarragon asked.

"None of us are dragons," Jay said.

"Nice joke, back to serious, shall we?" Tarragon said.

"O.M.E.E.B.s maybe?" Ivor asked.

"Varun is nearly an O.M.E.E.B.," Fara said.

"What's O.M.E.E.B.?" Jay asked, raising his hand.

"One more evolution existent beings," Fara and Varun said.

"So, you did say that before," Jay sighed.

"We call it, one more evolutionary-stage existent being, but same thing," Ivor said.

"Why are you people outside, when you can't fight?" Tarragon asked.

"We can fight. That's why," Aria said.

"And surely can kick the ass off of your floating head," Flint said.

"Bad move man," Varun said.

"Yeah, I know," Flint sighed.

"We are not new to fighting. Varun gave us Trigon or something. So, we are powerful," Jiant said.

"What, is that some kid of steroid you younglings are into these days?" Ivor asked.

"No… it's what Primevel warriors have in them, which makes them strong. Tarragon, remember the stone-gem you gave Sam? Varun has it," Fara said.

"This armour kid…?" Tarragon asked.

"Maaz take that stone out of Varun's back," Fara said.

Maaz reached out to Varun's back and removed the gem as Varun's armour disappeared. Maaz handed the stone-gem to Tarragon.

"Wait, wow… you found the piece?" Tarragon asked.

"Here," Varun said handing the small piece to Tarragon, Tarragon didn't take it.

"No! You deserved it, never give that to someone else, it might turn sideways," Tarragon said.

"Ok…" Varun said and put the white gem back in his pocket.

"And Primevel warriors are strong, once they get the armour, but we need to go to another planet for that. Strength-wise, they are stronger than normal," Fara said.

"And me, I have an armour and its powers. Also can become a werewolf-like being called Attear," Varun said.

"Still not good enough, but ok," Tarragon said.

"Why not you help us?" Fara asked.

"We really can't," Ivor said.

"You don't completely understand what we are," Tarragon said.

"Either robots or moody," Jay said.

"Ok, puns aside. Fara, you remember Saturn Organisation?" Tarragon asked.

"Yeah, the organisation which wanted 'survival of the fittest' on Earth. Wanted dragons dead too, seeing they were a chance in putting an end to the organisation. Made Esterine a crazy lady, and made her kill the one person who cared about her. Mind-controlled Parzival Blesthe and made him attack us. And even after dragons had gone away, attacked us," Fara said. "Out of everything that happened, I can remember that clearly!"

"Pretty much," Ivor said.

"Wow," Varun said, taking in everything he just heard.

"We are technically in it. But to put an end to it," Tarragon said.

"Wow, so they are still here," Fara sighed.

"We call ourselves as 'The Ring'," Ivor said.

"Wow…" everyone except Tarragon and Ivor said.

"That is some brilliant nomenclature. Where did you get the idea from?" Varun asked.

"The guy died laughing on his own joke probably," Aria scoffed.

"The Organisation…" Fara reminded.

"Right, so we work in Saturn Organisation but opposing," Tarragon said.

"Like the ring around Saturn, keeping the organisation in control. Protecting world from its bad deeds, in the best way possible," Ivor added.

"Not really the reason for the rings. Saturn's gravity pulled the comets and asteroids, and shattered them into pieces, causing some less than ten rings, which revolve around Saturn…" Varun said.

"Not the time," Maaz whispered to Varun.

"Which is not the whole point, continue please," Varun said lightly fake-laughing.

"We always just fit into them but put a stop to them. Fighting a war against them was useless, as they kept coming back and leading very deeply to many different leaders. Whoever started this… is a real evil genius mastermind," Tarragon said.

"Still your organisation is good enough to stop Morpheus, no?" Jiant asked.

"Who's Morpheus?" Tarragon asked.

"The one who caused all the snow and put many into sleep, causing zombies roaming around in many places, we believe. To open a portal to a place called dream-realm, alongside his lost-brother Phobetor who is a nightmare causing dragon, who we better not face. But luckily he fears Varun, so Varun is our one way for that one dragon," Fara said.

"We didn't know of a nightmare causing dragon and his brother. But, there are many more dangers there than you know of," Tarragon said.

"And as for the explanation Tarragon forgot to give. We can't as, if we do, Saturn organisation will find about this big mole and things will get messy. We had to drop it as it was the world against this one city. We chose the bigger picture," Ivor said.

"Choosing the bigger picture you say. We all are putting our lives here for the smaller picture. Would you have never cared even if you knew Fara was in this?" Flint asked.

"Relax Flint, this is actually where we come into the picture. We will put an end to this. Morpheus goes down, everything back to the best possible normal by the moment," Varun said and pat on Flint's shoulder.

"You can try," Tarragon said. "But, can't say the same about your team, Fara included."

"An armour guy, slash beast sounds good enough. But strong humans is just a thousand against the billion possibility," Ivor said.

"Well, with weapons we could have a better chance. We made a mess out of Varun's house," Aria said.

"Yeah, let's not invoke that thought," Varun said, grasping the torn bag on his back.

"And do you 'Primevel warriors' have weapons?" Tarragon asked.

"We can't get it. I might be the leader of all Primevel warriors but I have to visit Monsteruin, alongside the team, to get them armours and weapons," Varun said.

"Then it is a stupid plot," Tarragon said.

"Think about it kids. We don't know you and didn't care for your whole city and don't even now. But, your lives mean something. You can't just risk it going on and on recklessly," Ivor said.

"Provide us then," Fara said.

"Excuse me?" Ivor said.

"Well, you do have weapons and armours, so provide us what you can. I don't think few things missing would matter to either Saturn Organisation or The Ring," Fara said.

"Nearly true Farr," Tarragon said.

"We could do that. At least that little. To hell with some little supply," Ivor said.

"Yeah man, go get the stuff then," Tarragon said.

"I would even slap you if I could," Ivor said.

"Alright, if you kids have no more questions, we'll get to work," Tarragon said.

"Tarragon… how did you find me?" Fara asked.

"I don't know properly. When you used your powers, I could detect it somehow. Something in my system just popped up and I could feel… you. It was weird and creepy but I just concentrated on the part where it was about you," Tarragon said.

"One thing he somehow could do properly and uniquely," Ivor scoffed.

"Thanks for finding us," Fara said.

"Yeah, would have made things more confusing than it was if we hadn't met you," Varun said.

Fara glared at Varun.

"I mean it," Varun said.

"No you don't," Aria said.

"Girls know me man. They just do," Varun sighed.

"Then let's go get you some supplies, eh kids?" Ivor said.
