14. Apologies and Taste of Fists

I had managed to avoid Athan throughout yesterday, but unfortunately, I had to be in school today and since Blake's High is far from where we live..he has to take me to school.

I know yesterday was more of a transfer aggression but it didn't hurt any less, I still couldn't pinpoint what exactly had him so paranoid but I really don't care anymore...my door was creaking as somebody poked their head inside with a tray on their hands.

Ah..

"Hey"

"What?"

"I brought you breakfast"

I snorted..and gave him my most sarcastic smile..

"Oh really??.. well don't bother yourself with 'this' charity case, am sure she can get herself coupons from a thrift store to handle herself".

He sighed as he dropped the tray on the shelf and sat on the bed.

"Am sorry 'bout yesterday ..I swear I didn't mean it"

"The hell you didn't"

He breathed heavily ...sooo, I wasn't going to make this apology easy for him at all.

"Am sorry okay I didn't mean it, we've been living together for over a month now and never have I ever spoken to you like that.. you're like my daughter Ailthia and not some dumb charity case, am sorry I said that to you, can you please forgive me just this once?"

I looked at him with narrowed eyes, he had cooked me breakfast and I needed a ride to school, I had endured fitness training but I was living for the luxury of at least escaping the morning sun.

"Fine, I've forgiven you.. now leave my room"

He was grinning like he'd just won a lottery..

"Okay make sure to finish your breakfast, I'll be downstairs when you're ready princess"

He did not..

"I never said you could call me that"

He actually managed to look confused..

"Call you what?.. princess?"

I threw my pillow at him as he ran out laughing, I just hope he didn't see my face 'cos I was laughing too.

We managed to get to school early.. which was a relief considering the fact that we had chemistry in the first period and from some of the gossips I heard from the girls in my class, he wasn't a very friendly teacher.

As I walked inside the school, I couldn't help feeling good, just knowing that everyone here assumed me to be a regular student like them, this is probably the longest I've gone without using my abilities. I've tried my best to stay out of people's thoughts and even Alexis seems to be on a break for the now.

The only person I couldn't help but think about is this knight boy - knight..what a weird name, sounds like all those heroes in movies I wasn't allowed to watch. My locker unfortunately was close to his - and the pervert Tyler's own.

"Hey babe"

Urghh!!! perverted Tyler and yea...I almost forgot that fake life Jacqueline was also with them, and knight's best friend Xander.

The problem with being able to read people's thoughts and discern their thinking is that by so doing you gain every information about the person whether or not you want to.

I was going to ignore Tyler but boys are dumb so..the perverted he-goat grabbed my hand and whirled me around to face him...I was seething now, I really heated people touching me.

"What do you want?

"Ah she talks"

Of course, idiot, but the only talking am going to do now is with my fist connecting to your face, what can I say..action speaks louder than words.

"Do you wanna hang out?"

I was breathing heavily now and fighting the urge to break his hand, the only thing stopping me is probably that I wanted to lay low and as quiet as possible -in other words, I did not want to cause a scene, I looked over Tyler's head to see knight looking at me with calculating eyes...

"Tyler or whatever you call yourself, I do not want to hang out with you, so back off before your head connects with this wall"

He turned around to his friends smiling...

"Feisty too"

Oh, God! give me strength right now or rather don't give me strength, I don't think more power would do anyone much good right now.

"Tyler, please let go of my hand"

"Well since you asked so nicely...I could consider it, but how about I get your number first?"

Okay, I've had enough I twisted his hand backward and used it to wrap around his neck before kicking his back with my knee and letting him fall on the floor, groaning...damn sissy.

"What the hell was that?"

I smirked...

"What kind of strength do you have...are you even a girl?"

My voice right now is stiller than ice...

"I was being lenient, if I wasn't you'll be in the infirmary by now"

I got my books from my lockers and slammed it and strode off, I was being lenient though...I promised to batch his head against the wall.

As I walked, I could still feel Xander Knights' eyes boring into the back of my head, of course, it was over the voice of Jacq shouting.. weirdos.

After getting information from the anonymous man I had contacted, Ethan and I decided we'd leave for California in a few days time - I was suppose to go meet up with Jason in England, but my resources told me he had left the house.

I suspected as much, he wasn't dumb enough to allow me meet him up there..after the anonymous man finished telling me what I knew - I came to realize two things, one that..first he was lying maybe not completely but they were bit of lies in his story and secondly, he didn't know anything- all what he said was information fed to him by someone, he was only a courier- pity he died, I wonder what happened to him though...guess we'll never know.

I was currently walking out of my house right now on the way to the office, I notice a man walking behind me, a true business man needed to be vigilant and trust his instincts- to every regular person, this man was just walking past, but I knew he was coming to me..I walked over to meet him, best to get this over with. He got out from the alley he was hidden and came face to face with me.

"Mr. Alejandro"

"Who are you?"

"Such details are not important"

RIP to the last man who said that..

"What do you want?"

"I think It's a matter of what you want"

"What can you offer me?"

"A business proposition"

I smirked..

"Do you wanna know what happened to the last man who offered me a business proposition?"

He smiled.. a very dangerous smile.

"I know, infact let me show you"

It was a video clip of Mr giving signals to Ethan to finish off the man I met at Day's caffe...

"How the hell did you get that?"

"Once again Mr. Alejandro such details are not important, and just in case you're thinking of being funny, I'd like to brief you on the fact that there are men stationed everywhere around you"

"Am listening"

And then he began..

"Well I have a girl..

By the time he was done, I was impressed if this worked out I could serve diacom from crashing and at the same time my missing project, for some reason I haven't been able to track the GPS system inbutted in her and at such her current location is uknown...oh AIA ..

I'm coming for you, and when I do find you.. we'll have a very beautiful homecoming, perfect for a runaway.
