Chapter 23: Returning back

"Oh, I forgot to see those notifications. First, let me read those notifications before leaving."Henry thought to himself.

With that, he began to scroll through the notification until his eyes paused on a particular one.

"So these are the notifications that appear on my retina as I killed the beasts, "Henry thought to himself as he began to read the notification that had appeared on his retina.

You have received credits for killing the beasts. You will be able to use them when your cultivation realm will reach the Advance Qi gathering realm)

(Please loot the body of the beast to find their beast cores or any other useful part that can be sold or used for cultivation.)

Henry stopped reading because these are the only ones that caught his attention.

"However what's a beast core"Henry thought to himself with a confused look on his face.

When he thought about it. A sound resounded through his ears. He checked and spotted a notification flashing on his retina.

"What's this notification about?"Henry thought to himself.

(Beast Core is the core of the beast that is formed when they reach the late stage of the Basic Qi core formation realm.

They are essentially the core of the beasts. However, the beast's core is usually destroyed after the death of the beast.

But there is a small chance for them to still be intact.

These cores can be used to make potions or pills that can be used for cultivation or something else.

However, it's impossible to directly draw all the spiritual energy from it to cultivate since it's made up of half of the earth's spiritual energy and Humans can't use Earth's spiritual energy)

When Henry read the message he nodded his head slightly in approval.

"Since they can be sold for a decent amount of money then I can use that to buy cultivation resources.

So I will take as many body parts as I can, "Henry thought to himself.

He slowly started to walk toward the beasts. He walked towards the Advance Qi gathering realm beast first.

A moment later he stopped in his tracks and had a good look at the beast. The beast was headless since he has slashed his head off.

"As far as I know I think the beast's core is at the center of the beast. It's on his right chest I think opposite to its heart"Henry thought to himself.

Henry took his sword out and slashed the right chest open. When he slashed the right chest open the internal organs would turn to mush. It was a disgusting scene to look at.

"Umm, I don't see any beast core here, "Henry thought to himself.

A moment later another message flashed in his retina. He will read it.

(The core of different beasts is located at the different parts of the body. So you will have to search the body of the beast properly)

Henry read the message and he knew one thing.

"It's going to be a tough job and labor, "Henry thought to himself with a sigh.

He continued to slash different parts of the body of the beast in hopes of finding the core of the beast.

"There isn't any I have searched for the entire body of the beasts.

Oh wait I think I didn't search the entire body of the beast. There is still the head left "Henry thought to himself.

Henry looked for the head as he looked at the body of the beast one last time and smiled awkwardly.

"I have made a mess of its body," Henry said awkwardly as he looked at the scene in front of him

The body of the beasts was completely covered in slash. Its organs had turned to mush, and a big pool of blood was formed below the beast.

The bones of the beast have broken into smaller pieces. Some bones have even turned to dust.

Later Henry will cry tears of blood due to this since some of these can be sold for a high price.

Henry let out a sigh and headed towards the head of the beast.

When he reached the head he slashed the skull of the beast open. The brain matter of the beast was sent flying towards him; he dodged it.

"That was close, "Henry thought to himself.

He kept looking for anything unusual about the beast. A moment later he spotted something shiny in the head of the beast.

Henry had a good look at it. He saw that it was green in color.

"This might be it," Henry said softly as he took out the core.

When Henry touched the core, he saw a message flashing on his retina.

(Congratulations you have gotten the core of the Shadowy agility wolf who has a cultivation of the Advance Qi Gathering Realm.)

(You shall receive a Legend Grade Storage ring. The Legend Grade Storage ring has an area of around 100 km square.

However, it won't be free when the shop is unlocked. All of your credits will be taken away to pay for this ring even if you have more credits required to buy this.

You can either reject or accept this.)

Henry subconsciously said yes

When Henry saw the message he nodded his head in satisfaction. A dense amount of spiritual energy gathered above Henry's head. It was slowly but surely taking the shape of a ring.

"This storage ring that the system has given me for convenience," Henry said softly.

A moment later the storage ring had completely taken shape. It had a blue-colored diamond in the middle.

Henry touched the storage ring and put it on his fingers.

He won't see the description of the treasure since he wanted to get out as soon as possible. Henry quickly kept the core inside the storage ring. He headed towards the body of the other beasts.

"Wait, can I keep the entire beast inside my storage ring? I think I wasted a lot of useful things that I could get from the beast due to the lack of knowledge.

If I read some books before doing anything I think I won't do that again"Henry thought to himself.

He would began to head towards the other Advance Qi gathering realm beast. When he arrived in front of the beasts he flicked his wrist.

Then a magic circle surrounded the beast. It emitted a bright light.

The body of the beats began to dissipate into countless little fragments.

Seeing this Henry just smiled slightly seeing this.

"Ok, it works. I will do the same thing with the four strongest beats. After that, I will search the body of the weaker beasts or their cores only.

I don't think that I will be able to sell the body parts of these beasts for too much money. So I just search the cores to save time, "Henry thought to himself.

He headed towards the other four beasts. When he arrived at the spot of the other beasts one by one.

He flicked his wrist and the same thing repeated itself. He would do that four more times.

"Ok, I have kept the strongest body inside the storage ring. Now I will just have to search the body of the weaker beasts for their core"Henry thought to himself.

He began to search for the core of the beasts for the next few minutes. A few moments later he had searched all of the corpses for their cores.

"Ok done, "Henry thought to himself as he began to count the cores he had after this harvest

He kept them on the ground and count them.

"1,2,3…... .15" Henry counted.

Henry kept these cores inside his storage ring by flicking his wrist.

"Ok done now I should return. I think it's almost evening, "Henry thought to himself.

He started to navigate out after that.
