Chapter 22: Learning about the features of the system

He fell to the ground and then a voice resounded through his ears.

(Passive Recovery has been activated)

However, he won't be able to hear it since he is unconscious.

He fell to the ground and he wasn't able to hear. Slowly a small puddle of blood formed below Henry since he has suffered some serious injuries.

This bleeding continued for the next few minutes before the bleeding completely stopped.

A few minutes later Henry opened his eyes and he was shocked to see he is alive.

"What! How the hell am I still alive?"Henry thought to himself with a look of complete disbelief on his face.

A moment later a message flashed on his retina.

(Your injuries have been healed by using the special features of the system. Your memory of that moment is stored in your head.

Answer in Yes or No)

Henry readed the line of the words and only one word came out from his mouth.

"Yes," Henry muttered softly.

When he says yes a message flashed on his retina.

(Ok the fog surrounding that memory shall be cleared)

When this message flashed on his retina. He felt his consciousness slowly fading away.

As he lost his consciousness he felt like that he was falling into a dark void.

He continued to fall into that void until he spotted a ray of light in front of him.

Henry was sucked into that ray of light. When Henry entered that ray of light he once again appeared in the forest.

When he arrived at the forest he started to look around the entire place.

After a moment later he found a body lying on the ground and blood was coming out from this body like water coming out from a broken dam.

So much blood came out from his body that it created a small pool of blood below him.

Henry looked at this indifferently and then he began to move closer to the body. After moving closer he slowly turned the body around and spotted his face.

He won't be surprised by this since he knew that it's him. Henry tried to touch his body but his hand passed through his body.

"I can't touch my body," Henry thought to himself.

He began to have a look around his own body.

He saw that his body was glowing like a star in the night sky. He also noticed that he can see through his body.

His body had become transparent.

Henry looked at his own body for a few seconds before he focused on the injuries.

"What's there? It looks like something is moving."Henry thought to himself.

He continued to stare at the wound and realized that the tissues are moving to repair themselves.

When Henry saw this he became completely shocked.

"I can also recover my tissue at such an absurd speed.

What am I?" Henry thought to himself.

He kept watching as the tissues move rapidly and repair themselves.

A moment later the tissues would have repaired them to such an extent that the bleeding stopped completely as the wound closed up.

"The bleeding has stopped. I think I will wake up any minute now"Henry thought to himself.

Henry saw him opening his eyes. At the same moment, his vision started to darken. He slowly lost his consciousness.

His vision turned completely dark.

A few minutes had passed but he only saw darkness.

A few minutes later he spotted a bright light in the darkness.

The light was so bright that it illuminated his surrounding area. He opened his eyes abruptly.

He saw that he was standing on the ground.

"I think I have returned to the present, "Henry thought to himself as he looked around.

Henry had a look at where he was lying at the moment he was injured.

He didn't spot anybody, instead, he only spotted blood on the ground. It was a lot of blood.

"I will return now, however, I will have to see the features of the system," Henry thought to himself.

As he is thinking about this, he suddenly stopped moving

Then a notification flashed on his retina.

(Your injuries might have been closed but the blood you lost isn't able to be recreated so quickly.

It will take a lot of spiritual energy for all of your lost blood to be recovered. However, you are lacking that at the moment.

So your blood couldn't be recovered hence you are feeling weak.

When Henry saw the features of the system tab he will immediately press it. Two options with descriptions flashed on his retina.

"So these two are the features of the system huh? I will have to see their description in detail"Henry thought to himself with a serious look on his face.

The first thing that his eyes fell on was the Augmented Reality since he already had an idea of what passive recovery does.

He thought about it for a second.

A notification flashed on his retina which had the description of Augmented Reality and passive recovery.

He will begin to read it.

( Features of the system.

1) Augmented Reality.

This feature of the system allows you to create an avatar that only you can see and fight. This is mainly to improve your skills in a specific art.

For example sword art or any other marital technique or just to increase your battle experience.

This avatar can't be used to battle with your enemy or anything like that. It's just to improve your sword arts or any martial arts techniques.

Note:This feature doesn't require any spiritual energy to activate. The system will adjust the strength of the avatars according to your strength.

You can also create more than one avatar but there is a limit for it.

The limit is 5 avatars, you can't create more than 5.

2) Passive Recovery.

This feature will allow the user to have an absurd rate of recovery. The tissues will repair themselves to close the wound.

Even if your limb is cut off the user will be able to regrow new limbs due to this feature but it will require an absurd amount of spiritual energy and focus.

This skill will also help you guard against any kind of disease. Even the most powerful poison wouldn't be able to kill you if you try to remove it.

However, to remove poison you will have to have a decent amount of spiritual energy left and focus or else it will not be possible to remove the poison)

When Henry finished reading this he just smiled slightly and said

"The features of the system are great. It will be of great help to me, specifically the passive recovery in the middle of battle since my wounds will heal a lot faster.

Even though I can't regrow my limb or remove poison in the middle of battle it's still very helpful.

As for Augmented Reality, it will help me greatly in improving sword art both in the long run and short run

Then Henry began to determine the direction where he came from. However, just as he was about to leave, he remembered something really important.
