Chapter 90 : The Truth Comes Out

*Trinity's POV*

I crossed my arms uncomfortably, waiting for him to talk. I thought about not bringing it up, but I couldn’t help myself. Whatever was bugging him was clearly serious.

“Well?” I asked. “What’s been going on with you?”

"Don't you think we should wait until we get home to talk?" Matthew asked as he shifted the car into reverse and pulled out of the airport parking lot. "I should focus on driving."

He knew he would get away with that with me, but I wasn't having it. I had already waited all damn day and my nerves were shot. I had been hiding my emotions in order to keep calm all day, but not anymore.

"Don't give me that," I told him. "You could just pull over, you don't have to be driving right now."

Matthew sighed. "It's been a long day, Trinity."

"It's been a long day for me too, Matthew," I said and my voice cracked slightly. "I just need to know what's going on because my imagination is driving me crazy."
