Chapter 86 : Guilt
*Trinity's POV*
"I'm back!" Darla called as she opened the door, then stopped as she saw Matthew leaving. "Oh, I'm sorry, I can come back."
"No, it's fine," Matthew cut in, not the least bit embarrassed at having been found in the dressing room with me. "I think we are actually going to purchase the dress she has on.”
"That's great!" Darla exclaimed. She really was the perfect little saleswoman, keeping a check on her true emotions. "If you just go ahead and go to the front, I can get it all set to go for you. Are you still wanting to try on the other dress?"
"If you don’t mind.” I looked to Matthew who smiled reassuringly at me. “You don’t have to see this one. Who knows? It could be the one,” I joked.
Matthew laughed lightly and nodded. “Alright. I’ll be waiting at the checkout.”
He gave me one more grin and then left.
