Chapter 73 : Missing 2.0
*Trinity's POV*
I woke up to the nausea overwhelming me and jumped out of the bed to sprint to the bathroom. It was not very pleasant, and must’ve been pretty loud because it woke Matthew up.
"Are you okay, Trinity?" I heard him call from the bed.
"Yeah, I'm alright," I called back to him as I shakily stood up and brushed my teeth.
Matthew made his way to me at that point and looked at me in concern.
"I'm fine," I comforted him. "It's just the nerves."
He came up behind me and wrapped me in a hug. I felt his touch relax me a little and was glad that I finally stopped shaking.
"We're almost done," he reminded me.
I knew that, and I was glad for that, but that was part of the reason why I was so stressed. Matthew was supposed to testify today, and Christiana and I would have to go back and forth on Wednesday and Thursday. The closing statements were planned for Friday.
That wasn’t what I was worried about, though.
