Chapter 72 : Mistakes
*Matthew's POV*
My anger was bubbling below the surface as I tried to keep it contained.
I never expected to walk into the courthouse and find Brett MacCovy talking to Trinity. So when I had, every bit of common sense I knew went straight out the window.
It didn't matter that I was in a courthouse and that there were tons of cops all around me, I wanted to murder him. Well, maybe not that far, but I at least wanted to beat his ass.
Especially when he made some asshole comment about seeing Trinity around. I almost lost it, but Trinity gripped me closer, and her touch instantly relaxed me.
My dealings with Brett was another thing that I had kept under wraps over the past year. As soon as he had left the company, he had been causing me nothing but problems.
