Chapter 46 : Where is She?
*Trinity's POV*
After all the tears had left my body, I crashed and fell asleep in the warmth of Matthew's arms.
And as I fell asleep, I began to dream.
An elevator dinged and the darkness slid open to reveal Matthew's home. I had only been there the one time, but that was obviously where I was. It was bright and modern and I could see the sun rising through the wall lined with windows.
As soon as the doors opened, I could see Matthew's back, and I stepped forward with a smile. Just seeing him standing there put me at ease; made me feel safe again. Once I was out of the elevator, he turned around and I saw a baby boy curled up into his arms.
My heart swelled as he saw me and a huge smile covered his face. His eyes met mine and I felt weak in my knees.
"Welcome home," he stated.
