Chapter 45 : A Baby is Born
*Trinity's POV*
"AAAAAHHHHH!" I screamed out in pain as my stomach clenched again.
"It's okay, Trinity, you are going to be okay," Christiana coaxed, grabbing my hand and trying to comfort me.
We were still waiting in the doctor's office for the doctor to get back, and I was using the exam table to brace myself against the pain. Christiana and I had come in here after the ultrasound to go over the results.
The doctor just sat down when I was hit with a sharp pain out of nowhere.
There was no hint, no inclination—it just immediately took hold. How could this happen?
I heard the sound of the door and the doctor walked back in along with two other nurses and a gurney. They didn't even have to tell me what to do. I grabbed onto them and climbed onto it.
Christiana tried to keep a hold of my hand, but we were separated as they squeezed me out of the door. She hustled to keep up behind us as the nurses jogged me through the hospital. The doctor jogged alongside me.
