Chapter 34 : Scarlet Red
*Matthew's POV*
All I could see was red.
I was returning from my phone call with Joe when I heard Trinity yell and hurried forward to burst through the door. But what I saw was not what I expected.
Trinity was sprawled out on the chair with Brett on top of her.
What the hell was going on here? And why did it make me so mad?
The shock passed as I stared at the scene in front of me. It didn't take much investigation to tell what was happening. Brett was obviously forcing himself on Trinity, because she looked disheveled and completely unhappy. She was obviously trying to push him off, but his hands were all over her.
When my eyes met hers she started to cry, and I felt something snap inside me.
And all I could see was red.
"Oh, hey man," Brett spoke, but didn't move. "Sorry, could you give us a couple more minutes?"
"No!" Trinity said breathlessly and worried. "It's not what it looks like! I-"
