Chapter 24 : It's Done
*Matthew's POV*
The company car was still waiting outside of Joe's office, so I got inside and tried my best not to slam the door behind myself.
"Back to work," was all I said to the driver, and he was off. I didn't take company cars very often, but all of them obviously knew that I was the boss and knew better than to bother me or question me.
My mind reeled as he drove, but I attempted to focus myself back on work. It was still early and I needed to get things finished regardless. Sadly, the rest of my life wouldn't stop just because of some mistake that a doctor made.
Plus it was relieving to know that I had already given Trinity a few days off to rest, so I would have a few days to decide what to do.
What to do…
Should I tell Trinity?
Based on what I knew of her so far, it didn't seem like she had any idea that I was the biological father of the baby that she was carrying.
