Chapter 21 : Out of Death, Comes Life
*Trinity's POV*
My front door shut behind me as I walked inside and hung my jacket up. It felt rewarding to come home from such a great day of work, and I was ready to tell my sisters all about it on our weekly update chat.
The phone started to ring as I pulled it out of my purse and walked forward, setting my purse down on the counter. Right on schedule. It was Arielle of course, so I slid open the video chat and saw her worried face.
I knew what they were doing with these weekly phone calls. Actually, at first they were nightly, but after about a month, they had switched to weekly. They hadn’t started until after Nate had died, and they both had said that we should do it to ‘keep each other in the loop’, but I knew the real reason.
They wanted to make sure I was still alive, and I didn’t blame them.
