Chapter 19 : Donor Answers
*Matthew's POV*
As I walked back up into the office from the studio, I noticed that Amber and Trinity were already gone for the day, and for some reason that made me upset.
However, I still had more work to do since I had come in late today, so I walked into my private office and sat down at my desk, ready to get to work. Maybe if I got done fast enough, I could get home at a decent time. I hadn't done that since before we had signed Brett, but I just wanted everything to be perfect.
It had to be.
Just as I was getting signed on to the computer my personal phone began to ring. I pulled it out of my jacket pocket and saw that it was my lawyer, so I immediately answered.
"Hey, Joe, what did you find out?" I asked instead of even greeting the man, getting straight down to business. He knew how I was and didn't get offended.
