Chapter 18 : Making New Friends
*Trinity's POV*
The rest of the day went by without a hitch and I sighed in relief as I didn't make any more errors to be yelled at about. Matthew stayed in the studio for the rest of the day, so I didn't have to see him much either.
I began to gather my stuff in preparation to leave and I noticed that Amber was doing the same.
"Wow, you are actually getting off at the same time as me?" I asked.
"Yes, and I think it's a drinks after work kind of night. Working for Matthew tends to do that to a person," Amber joked. "You should come!"
I looked down at my belly and gestured, causing Amber to laugh again.
"Well, I didn't say that your drinks had to be alcoholic," she shrugged with a smile. "You should still come. It would be fun! And you can just have a soda. Come on, I need someone to go with me so I'm not that weird loner chick."
"Okay, okay," I agreed, putting my hands up in surrender. "But just for a bit. We still have work tomorrow."
