Off We Go

The Next Day....

I woke up for bed early in the morning. I am very excited to have my second pokemon.

I came down from my room and greeted mom and sat for breakfast.

As I was eating I began to wonder about how could Ash wake up late on the day he gets his first. But yet I decided to not wake him up, otherwise he would not get his fated partner.

I then go ready and went to Grandpa's lap. I saw Gary entering the lab.

"Hey Gary Morning! What are you going to choose"

"Morning Dai, first you choose I will choose afterward"

Oh boy, who do you think me kid! You plan to choose the starter which is supereffective against mine I thought though did not expose his thinking.

Grandpa entered at that time and we greetes him. Behind him were 2 girls whom I recalled must be the children who are leaving on this day on their journeys too.

"Where is Ash Dai?"

"Forget about him Grandpa, he must be sleeping currently"

'Sigh' "That boy causes trouble even too. Forget about him as you all have come before let's start. I have kept 4 Pokemon. Each of you select a pokemon"

Saying that Grandpa released 4 Pokemon which were Charmender, Squirtal, Bulbasaur and a Shiny Eevee! Yes a freaking shiny eevee!

"Let's start with Dai, then Midori then Gary and the Adrian"

I stepped forward. I hesitated seeing the Shiny Eevee but yet I chose Charmender. I previously discussed with Grandpa I wanted Charmender, even though A shiny is rare with a special unique ability I have to keep my word.

I even have a beldum which is almost as rare as a shiny, repeating this in my mind I went towards charmender, half bended my legs looked at his eyes and said to him "From my childhood I always wanted a Charmender. Even though there is a shiny Eevee beside you I am going to chose you" I offered my hand out and said "Will you be my partner. I promise that with me we will always strive for the path of excellent" Charmender should my a smile and put his hand on me.

Seeing his smile and knew that I will never regret my decision. I was on clound nine and I lifted him up on my shoulders.

"Meet our new partner beldum" Saying this I released beldum fro my pokebal who looked at Charmender curiously got along with him.

After my selection is a saw Midori chose the eevee. I will keep her name in my mind as I know that the eevee will become a powerful Pokemon in the future if she raises it with care.

Then I say Gary chose Squirtal and Adrian chose bulbasaur.

Then Grandpa gave us each a pokedex and 5 pokeballs.

"Hope you Explore and fall in love with the pokemons along your journey"

saying that he waved his hand and bid us fairwell. Midori and Adrian then left me and Gary alone.

As we arived at the Gate if the lab, I saw Ash running towards us.

Gary taunted him as usual while I told Ash to hurry up and go.

Shortly after he went it Gary left and I say mom caring Ash's bag and clothes.

"Bye mom! I promise to make you proud in the upcoming kanto league championship... " I did not finish speak mom hugged me "Be Safe son".Just a sentence but I cried hearing that and hugged her tightly.

Ash came recieving his Buggy Pikachu, I wished him luck and took my bags and Set of on my journey.

After taking 10 steps outside Pallet I looked back, I did not notice a firm feeling tingling my brain looked forward at the road and walked on my journey to greatness.
