Making their way towards the back of the house Dawn halted her step and asked worriedly, "Ash, will your pokemon be aggressive?"

May and Serena also turned their attention to Ash, they heard what happened last time when Dawn saw Ash's pokemon which is why she asked.

Ash shook his head and replied, "No need to worry, I apologize on behalf of my pokemon for what happened last time, they were just being overly protective." as Ash finished explained they finally arrived at the backyard.

Serena, May, and Dawn gasped when they arrived, they clearly felt the terrifying aura each pokemon was releasing as they were fighting each other.

"Master!" Bayleef greeted Ash stunning the 3 ladies behind him when they heard a female voice, they all focused their attention on Bayleef curious how she can communicate using human language.

Ash as usual caressed Bayleef's head and explained to the curious ladies, "Bayleef doesn't know how to speak human language, the reason why we are able to communicate is that Alakazam can use his psychic power as a medium for telepathic communication."

The three ladies nodded amazed at Alakazam who was sitting crossed legged floating above them with a purple aura wrapped around him.

'Grrrrghhhh'

All of a sudden a terrifying growl resounded in the backyard frightening the three ladies.

Charizard who growled approached the group with an unfriendly look on his face followed by Infernape who looked curiously at the ladies.

"Charizard, that is not how you greet our guests." Ash reprimand Charizard who snorted and turned around not wanting to be around them.

Infernape on the other hand approached the group and stood by Ash's side.

The ladies looked at the two fire type pokemon decided to not mess with Charizard, they then scanned the surroundings and saw Sceptile on top of a tree sleeping while Garchomp and Samurott just finished their mock battle and were walking towards their direction.

"So strong," May murmured upon seeing all of Ash's pokemon that stuck with him until the end.

Serena and Dawn both nodded in agreement.

Seeing the atmosphere became tense because of Charizard's little stunt earlier Bayleef approached the ladies and said with a warm smile on her face.

"You guys must be Master's friends on his previous journies, nice to meet you."

Seeing Bayleef's beautiful smile the three ladies relaxed and started talking with the female pokemon who gladly kept then accompanied.

Infernape who was beside whispered. "Master, you really are amazing. Just as you made your comeback three females already were attracted by your manly aura."

Ash flicked Infernape's ear making him step back while grabbing his ear and grumbled, "I was just complimenting Master why did he have to flicker my ear, his casual flicks really hurt."

Samurott who just arrived sneered at Infernape and said, "That's what you get for sticking your monkey nose on Master's business."

Infernape's flames flared and he pointed angrily at Samurott, "What did you say? you want to taste my fist again?"

Samurott snorted and replied, "Don't be so cocky just because you got a lucky hit last time, be careful maybe my horn will stab your butthole one of these days."

Garchomp who was beside the two could only shake his head, "Why are you talking about buttholes again? are you really itching for a beating from Bayleef?"

Sceptile who was sleeping on a tree branch glanced at the grumpy Charizard who sat below him and said, "Charizard, It is not good to blame others for the sins that they did not commit."

Charizard sighed and replied in a helpless and sad voice "It's just hard to trust others anymore, Brother. I don't want Master to experience those painful feeling ever again."

Sceptile nodded and closed his eyes again before saying, "You are the scariest looking among us but you are also the most emotional amongst the group, be sure to keep your emotions in control and help Master move on rather than preventing him from approaching his friends and make him feel isolated."

*Sigh* "I understand what you're trying to say, Brother." Charizard said and closed his eyes while leaning on the tree.

The ladies giggled while they were conversing with Bayleef who was narrating about their 5 years of training in the wilderness.

Focusing their attention on Bayleef's stories they didn't notice Ash who left them while he went back inside the house.

Delia who was being toured by Jessie and James saw Ash coming back inside and asked, "Where are the girls?"

Ash pointed towards the backyard and said, "Bayleef's keeping them company right now."

Delia nodded her head and started pondering about something seeing how she was placing her hands below her chin.

Ash looked at his mother curiously and asked, "What are you thinking about mom?"

Delia focused her attention on her son and said, "Pikachu disappeared after we exited the airport but I have a feeling that he is now by your father's side."

Ash frowned, he didn't really care if Pikachu left or whatnot he frowned because this was the first time his mother talked about his father.

"Father? I almost forgot that I even had a father." Ash smirked and said in a mocking tone.

Delia sighed, she approached her son giving him a hug, and said, "Don't blame your father, I am sure that one day you will be able to meet him."

Ash shook his head and replied, "For me, It doesn't matter if he comes back or not but I want him to return so that you won't be lonely anymore. you don't need to worry about me too much mom I will let Jessie stay by your side from now on, you can go to different regions and have a well-deserved vacation."

"My baby has really grown up," Delia said emotionally wiping away the tears in her eyes, she was really touched at Ash's reply and squeezed him in her embrace.

Delia then released her son and asked with a smirk on her face, "So, amongst the three ladies who took your breath away?"

Ash facepalmed and went directly to his room completely ignoring his mother who was calling for his attention.

"Geez, why can't he be honest with his mother. I am just curious as to who he likes the most." Delia grumbled while Jessie and James wore a small smile on their faces seeing Ash and his mother's interaction.
