Bloomingvale

After the Gang left Charicific Valley a few days ago, we're back on the road, although, with Charizard gone and the weird thing that happened with Ash, where he was holding his chest in pain, they were worried about him.

They tried asking, but Ash assured them he was fine. Obviously, that wasn't good enough. For a bit, they tried to ask Ash to take off his shirt so they could see if something was wrong, but he insisted not to.

Eventually, they dropped it since Ash seemed to be fine, but they couldn't help but wonder what 'that' was and why he was so insistent on not taking off his shirt.

Along the road, Ash started training his Pokemon, especially the new guys. Right now, they stopped to set up camp. Ash was sitting by a tree as Misty, Brock, and Yellow were off doing their own thing.

But then something interesting happened: Abra finally returned with Scizor and Scyther, and next to them, they had another Scyther,

Scizor walked up to Ash, nodding to him, taking a breath, "Scizor! [Sir. We have returned, and we have a request to make of you!]"

Ash nodded as Dratini was around his body, and Chikorita was on his lap. He didn't see it, but there was tension between the two as they glared at each other, fighting for Ash's attention.

Scyther mom walked up, "Scyth-Scyther, [We know you were planning on helping me get strong, but I have seen that my own talent isn't as good as everyone else, I will only be a liability in the future]"

Scizor put a claw on Scyther, "Scy- [So that is why we wanted to ask, could you train our son instead, he has shown more potential than either of us, and if it's with you, I know he'll be strong,]"

"Uh huh…" Ash said as he put Dratini and Chikorita down and as he got up to approach behind them, the two small Pokemon started to rumble with each other and roll away.

Ash walked up and looked at the child Scyther up and down, he just stood there, although Scyther reached maturity quickly because they enjoy fighting and they are usually aggressive to everything, even other Scyther, this one was told by his parents who Ash was and that he could become strong.

Ash looked back at Scizor and Scyther mom, "I mean, I can train him, that isn't a problem, but are you sure you want to be left out, I can easily train both of you you don't have to give up,"

But Scyther mom shook her head, "Scyth… [No, it's okay, I accepted the fact that my talent isn't as great. I can still provide my support, but I do not think I can be as strong as you will need me to be,]"

Ash sighed. He didn't care about that stuff, but if Scyther made up her mind, then he couldn't really stop her, he couldn't force her to train, maybe later she might come around, but for now, it seems like it's a no.

Ash looked at the child Scyther, unlike Dratini, Scyther mature quickly because bugs mature the quickest out of any Pokemon, and Scyther are inherently made for battle, so they spend a short time before reaching maturity.

Ash held out a Pokeball and taped the Scyther, and it closed immediately, he caught yet another Scyther, which makes 3. He pulled out his Pokedex to check if it had something interesting

'Huh, not bad at all,' Ash thought. He was going to make Scyther's mom evolve into Kleavor, but it seemed like there had been a change in plans, and what's more, this thing has [First Impression] that is a surprise 

After that, Ash let him back out and started his training, since he was planning on going down the Kleavor path, his training was focused on attack and speed.

And that's how it continued, the next Gym was Bug, so it was pretty obvious who he was bringing in, but that all depends on if he can get Cyndaquil and fix his problem now, otherwise, he'll work with the fire types he has now.

As he sat back down, he looked around and finally noticed that Dratini and Chikorita were gone, he looked around and then saw Chikorita struggling to walk and Dratini sliding on the ground, Chikorita looked victoriously at Ash and sat back down on his lap while Dratini curled up next to Ash looking grumpy swearing revenge.

Ash looked curiously but shrugged as he started patting both of them gently, and then he felt a tug on his hair, as he looked back, Clefairy and Togepi were demanding Ash's attention, too.

In the corner watching this, Pikachu was sitting next to Fuecoco. Fuecoco looked like he was about to jump in, but Pikachu put his hand up and pushed the croc back down,

Pikachu looked to Ash's bag, where he saw the 2 Eggs that were yet to hatch in Ash's bag, he couldn't help but start pitying Ash, he was being pulled around in every direction by these toddlers in every direction.

A few days later, they were back on the road, as they did, they looked at the map and saw that the next town closest to them where they could resupply was Bloomingvale, and they were also lucky since today was also the Sunflora Festival.

Looking at pictures, the girls were immediately enamored, "Wow, all the Sunflora are so beautiful!" Misty said with sparkles in her eyes

Yellow nodded, "There are so many other pretty Pokemon too! I want to meet them all!"

Ash was about to say they could make the detour, but Brock immediately took the dex and looked at it because in one of the pictures, there was last year's winner, a green-haired girl named Sonrisa, along with that, there were plenty of other pretty girls.

"This place looks amazing! We definitely have to go for all the beautiful sights and Girls!"

Ash leaned over, "You mean Poke-"

Brock immediately pushed him away, not letting him finish, "I know what I said!"

So these three were dead set on going, and since Ash both didn't mind, nor did he care because he was not short on time, he also didn't fight it.

As they started walking, Brock, Misty, and Yellow were basically dancing to get there, but soon, a quick gist of wind almost knocked them over, when they caught their footing, they looked around and saw a pink Pokemon flying through the sky.

It was a Hoppip, and it was happily floating through the sky, it was flying towards the direction of Bloomingvale. Curiosity got the best of them, and they started running after the Pokemon,

As they ran, they were so focused on the Hoppip that they didn't see a long pipe going through the ground, making them trip. Brock fell over first, then on top of him, Misty fell down, and finally Yellow, with her sunhat falling off her head, then gently floating down and falling on her back.

Ash caught up to them and saw the scene, "You guys need help?"

Brock's muffled voice that was in the mud mumbled, "Mm-mm-mm…"

From the side, a familiar green-haired woman holding a large wrench and walking up to them it was the girl from the picture, Sonrisa. She was presumably out here to check for leaks on the pipe and stumbled across them, and it didn't take a genius to tell they tripped over the pipe.

Sonrisa walked up looking worried, "Oh no, are you all ok! I'm sorry, this is my fault. I knew I should have put up a sign to warn people,"

Upon hearing the voice of a woman, Brock suddenly gained strength and pulled himself out of the mud with Yellow and Misty still on his back as they fell back, but Ash caught the two this time. Meanwhile, Brock ran up mud still on his face, looking at the Sonrisa.

"It's you; I recognize you're the woman I see in my dreams! I know you I walked with you once upon a dream-" Brock said as suddenly a blast of water came out and hit him in the face, making him fall back down.

The source was Misty, who was holding a Poliwag like a water gun under her arm and blasting Brock, "Get that mud off your face first, you look like a swamp monster!"

Ash looked curiously at Misty, "When did you catch a Poliwag?"

Misty gave a triumphant look, "When you left us to go to your errands, I went fishing and found this girl, You're not the only one allowed to catch Pokemon, you know~"

"I never said I was, but whatever," Ash said, turning back to Sonrisa. "Anyway, as my friend was trying to say, it's okay. It was their fault they were running like madmen looking for a Hoppip that was flying through here."

"Did I hear someone talking about my Hoppip~?" another female voice said from the side, a blue-haired girl with a pink bandana walked up holding the Hoppip from earlier under her arm

Sonrisa looked excited, "Oh Mariah! How is everything, does the weather look good for today!"

Mariah nodded and smirked, "You bet the festival should go on without any problem,"

"That's great, you and your Hoppip are the best, Mariah!" Sonrisa said

"Umm, so are you talking about the Sunflora Festival?" Yellow asked after she fixed herself and put her sunhat back on

"Oh right, I guess I got carried away, sorry," Sonrisa said helplessly, "Yes, we're talking about the Sunflora Festival you see, Mariah sent her Hoppip out to check to see if the weather was good, you probably saw one of hers and followed it here,"

"Oh, I see," Mariah said as she finally acknowledged the group, "Yep, what she said, I am a meteorologist, and I use my precious Hoppip to do it!"

"Wow, that's so cool!" Yellow said, looking excited

Brock got up from the ground after getting blasted by water, "Oh, another beautiful and gentle lady-" but he was cut off again by another blast of water.

"No bad, Brock bad, we talked about this!" Misty said as she kept having Poliwag blast, Brock

The two girls didn't know if they were allowed to laugh at this, but Ash just shook his head and shrugged, "It's fine this happens more times than you think,"

Sonrisa sighed, "I see, well, whatever the case, once again, I am sorry you tripped over my pipe. I use it to bring fresh water to my garden, but I couldn't build it underground,"

Sonrisa's eyes lit up, "Oh, I know, you said you were coming to the Sunflora Festival, right, how about I show you guys around then as an apology!"

Brock heard that and suddenly gained a surge of strength and started to get up, pushing against the water and eventually getting close enough to cover Poliwag's mouth and looked at Sonrisa, "We would love to!"

"That's great, then follow me!" Sonrisa said with a smile as she led the way to the town. Meanwhile, Mariah walked in the other direction to go get the rest of her Hoppip and double-check the incoming weather.

A few minutes later, they all arrived at Bloomingvale, the town was a large and beautiful green town, at every corner, there was a Sunflora doing their own kind of special training, some with exercise, some with dancing, etc.

Sonrisa started to give them a tour of the town where the festival would be taking place; she showed the stadium with the solar panels above in the sky and all sorts of people who had stalls and were selling and buying stuff.

As they looked around, suddenly, they heard a voice that they recognized, "Hey, it's you, Ash, right!"

When they turned around, they saw Ethan moving up to them on his skateboard with a Sunflora walking up behind him.

"Oh, hey, you're Ethan, right," Ash said as he stepped up to greet the dark-haired boy.

Ethan stopped his skateboard right in front of them, smiling, "It's good to see you, you come to watch the Sunflora?"

"Yeah, we wanna see all the pretty Sunflora. There are so many, and their smiles are so big!" Yellow said with a smile that could rival the strongest Sunflora

Ethan smirked, "Well then, you better look at Sunbo because she's the one that's going to win this year!" he said as he put his hand on his Sunflora's shoulder.

Sonrisa smiled and walked up as well, "Well, I hope you don't think I'm going to let you win after all. I'm last year's winner, but I welcome your challenge,"

Ethan gave a coy smile, "Well, I figured a pretty lady like you is the only one that could make Equally as beautiful Sunflora~"

As he said that, Brock was in the corner and looked like there were tears in his eyes as he gave a thumbs up, "He Just Like Me, Fr,"

Misty sighed, "Oh no, it's another Brock…"

As Ethan was about to flirt with Sonrisa some more, from behind, Kris appeared and pulled Ethan's head back, "Enough with the flirting, you idiot; I swear you do this every time…"

"Come on, Kris, can't you let a guy have his fun…" Ethan said, his voice slightly muffled.

Kris sighed and looked at Sonrisa and the gang, "Sorry about him, this is a stupid habit of his…"

Misty walked up and put a hand on her shoulder, "I know your pain…"

As the two girls were sympathizing with each other, Yellow looked around, "Hey…um Kris…where's your sister Lyra?"

As soon as Yellow said that, Ash felt some hands reach up and cover his eyes, "Hey there, handsome. Fancy seeing you here~"

Ash didn't need to look, and everyone else who did look saw Lyra there with a cheeky smirk.

"Hello Lyra, can I ask why you're covering my face, and can I ask you to stop," Ash said as Pikachu was considering shocking the girl just because she came out of nowhere.

"Hmmm, well, I did it because I wanted to surprise you, but finnnee~," Lyea said overdramatically as she let go and stood in front of Ash.

Kris sighed, "Lyra, don't do this, you barely know him…."

"I don't know what you're talking about, Kris," Lyra said with an innocent face before she looked back to Ash, "Hey, so tell me, are these two girls, Misty and Yellow, was it? Are either of them your girlfriend?"

Just saying that made Misty and Yellow go red in the face and look away, Ash sighed, "No, I'm not dating anyone, and I'm not planning to,"

Lyra seemed to pout a little, but she put up another smile, "Well, in that case, remember back in New Bark, you invited everyone to dinner, so how about I make it up to you now~ do you like ice cream?"

Ash raised an eyebrow, "I mean, yeah, everyone likes ice cream,"

Lyra smiled as she took Ash's hand, "Alright, let's go get some, my treat, it's a date~"

Before anyone or even Ash could say anything, Lyra began to run, pulling Ash behind her.

Back with everyone else, they had a variety of expressions, Kris was exhausted seeing his sister literally drag Ash away, Misty was still red, and Yellow was too, but there was a bit more of something else.

And Brock and Ethan looked at Ash being taken away and thought the same thing, 'Why is it so easy for him….'
