Showing true battle prowess

The time for battle has finally came. Seeing the incoming pokemon that was coming toward us I took a deep breath.

The horde of angry consisted of nine groups each being lead by a rookie lvl pokemon. While the the leader second lvl pokemon stood in the back lines.

Oliver began to bark out orders

Oliver:I want each person with a rookie lvl pokemon to separate and take a group of 10 each.

Me and kj will hand the last group together. Everyone gave a affirmative nod as they was off to face their battle.

The nine group of pokemon on their side was as the following.

Pidgey group led by a rookie lvl pidgeotto

Rattata group led by a rookie lvl ratticate

ekans group led by a rookie lvl arbok

Spearow group led by a rookie lvl fearow

Sandshrew group led by a rookie lvl sandslash

Pikachu group led by a rookie lvl raichu

Clefairy group led by a rookie lvl clefable

Zubat group led by a rookie lvl golbat

Oddish group led by a rookie lvl gloom

Paras group led by a rookie lvl parasect

Venonat group led by a rookie lvl venomoth

Second lvl nidoking

The group I was assigned to face was the sad sandshrew group. Making my way towards to pokemon I let out Riolu and my new partner beldum.

"Alright guys this is the time to battle.

Battle start:

Seeing a sandshrew separated from the group I instructed beldum to attack.

Use psychic beldum.

A great force began to surround sandshrew and it was flung into the ground. Sandshrew couldn't stand the immense pressure as it gave out from the attack.

Alright 1 down 9 more to go.

Beldum used psychic to stop two beldum sun place . As Riolu rush forward and struck both with ice punch.

With those two down it was 6 sandshrew left and 1 sandslash.

The sandshrew became enraged at their fallen teammates began to throw out attacks. The sandshrew began to synchronize the move earthquake.

The ground began to shake as I could feel myself lose balance. But thankfully beldum surrounded me in psychic energy allowing me to float.

Thanking beldum I got back to the battle.

Riolu use aura sphere on the two sandshrew to the left.

A condensed ball of energy built up in Riolu hand as it flew towards the sandshrew striking them head on.

Although they weren't knocked out they were left severely weakened.

Without needing any instructions from me beldum let out a psychic attack which incapacitated the two sandshrew.

This raid is much easier than I expected. These pokemon are barely putting up a challenge.

There were now a total of four sandshrew and one sandslash.

The four sandshrew encircled my and my pokemon as we began to get worried a little.

They each launched a powerful rollout attack that rushed towards our group.

It seemed that all was over. But out of nowhere beldum gave off a powerful surge of psychic energy.

The psychic began to surround the sandshrew as the two opposing forces began to battle against eachother.

Beginning to sweat from the pressure I could only persist on and put my full faith in beldum.

Beldum full power put your all into this!!

Beldum gave a nod of affirmation as it exerted full power. The sandshrew stopped In there track as they all were pushed into the ground crushing the earth in the process.

This continued for a minute until all sandshrew were knocked into a unconscious state.

Alright beldum thanks for the help we just have one more opponent to face.

Setting our sights on the sandslash. We prepared for battle.

The sandslash used dog as it burrowed itself underground. Ready to slice into its next prey.

Riolu being a aura pokemon has good sensing abilities.

Riolu feel around for the aura of sandslash.

Riolu began to be covered in a blue hue as he closed his eyes and sensed for sandslash.

All of sudden Riolu managed to jump out the way in time as sandslash rushed out.

A tree was sliced in half. Instead of Riolu if just a second late Riolu would have faced the same fate.

Riolu and beldum you'll have to team up for this fight.

Beldum use psychic to hold sandslash in place and Riolu strike sandslash with ice punch.

Psychic surrounded sandslash as it struggled to break free from beldum control.

But it was to no avail because Riolu came in a second later hitting sandslash in the leg leaving a frozen sandslash leg.

Sandslash began to become enraged. It built a familiar beam in its mouth which I recognized as hyper beam.

A powerful white light was sent out. But to my surprise instead of my pokemon it flew towards me.

Beldum reacted quick by forming a barrier of psychic in front of me. But do to beldum being weakened from earlier it wasn't enough.

It managed to hold off the attack for a few seconds as I moved out the way.

It sure gets your blood pumping facing life or death situations.

Go forward and use aura sphere Riolu. Beldum provide protection through psychic shields.

Riolu began to rush sandslash as he prepared a aura sphere.

But that task easier said then done. Especially with an angry sandslash spitting hyper beams at you.

Through the cooperation of teamwork. Beldum psychic shields managed to buy Riolu enough time to strike sandslash.

This attack did heavy damage to sandslash as it rose up slowly.

Not missing out this chance I called out the next move.

Beldum use psychic to apply gravity onto sandslash and Riolu use 0 degree flame.

The psychic began to apply on sandslash making it struggle to move around. While it was focusing on breaking out of beldum gravity effect.

Riolu began to charge up its move.Fires began to build up around Riolu fist. I could feel the burning all the way over here. Then next up ice began to encase Riolu fist as it trapped the flame.

Seeing that Riolu was ready to move I gave out the final command.

Riolu use 0 degree flame!!

Riolu rushed forward slamming into sandslash with a great deal of force. Sandslash was set on fire as it suffered burn damage.

Then encased in ice as it froze into a solid sculpture.

Battle end

Letting out a deep breath I was glad my battle was finally over. But the final battle has still to come.

A second lvl pokemon strength is no joke. This will most likely be my hardest battle to date.

But hopefully with Oliver help it will be enough to stand against nidoking.

Walking towards the direction of nidoking I put on a hardened face.
