"Alice doesn't have a father! Alakazam, Pyshic!"
"If she doesn't have a father, either you stole her, adopted her, or she was the product of some funny business with a client who forgot something, if you know what I mean." Virgo wiggled her eyebrows as Ursaring launched another Arm Thrust.
"So does this villa make the lion's den?" wondered Zeal with a bit of a chuckle.
"I adopted her, assholes!"
"Well, we've gotta work with what we have. Play Rough then!"
<Maw!> Mawile became aggressive as leaped to Sawk, slashing the foe terribly.
Gliscor on the other hand succeeded on carrying the chest and bringing it to Charlotte.
"That chest has the stone. I'm sure of it," I told both of them.
"Yeah, you just switched it up with a fake one, I'm guessing. We'll keep this a secret from Alice."
Professor Sophie stopped, her heart beat got lower. "She's fine. I may not be there physically, but I'm watching out of her!"
"Should've not cheated on Team Rocket, we wouldn't be fighting! Too late, we have the Black Stone. That was rightfully ours by the way, so consider that a retaliation, Team Plasma!"
We were about to exit through the door when suddenly it banged open. Ghetsis stabbed his cane on the ground, "Ha! That's enough!"
"My, oh, my. Sorry to bust your bubbles, little pope, but we've gotta pass on the speech. Bye! Gardevior, bring everyone back to Xeryll!"
Gardevoir was sent out of her Pokeball. In the blink of an eye, all of us were back, including Charlotte who luckily, was not spotted by Ghetsis.
In the second blink, I returned alone, "Forgot my Gardeviorite, sorry. Bye again!" and on the third, I was out.
Ghetsis, angered, threw his stick on the floor as he approached Professor Sophie and probably the butler was also an agent.
"Damn you, damn you, damn all of you! You had one job, keep the stone inside, avoid any member from Team Rocket from stealing it, and you failed me!"
"Not my fault, that Luna was clever to play with my mind."
"Now that Team Rocket has their hands on the stone, N's vulnerable."
"Where is he anyway?"
"To our goal. With Reshiram out, I ought to have Unova mine, but with Zekrom with Team Rocket, chances are split into two!"
"Don't worry sir, we'll make sure to find Luna before she goes to the East."
"Ah, forget about that. If she wants a bet of who's who to turn back the wheels of time and history, so be it!"
"Where to now, sir?"
"We'll have to wait for a moment." His lips sharpened. "Oh don't worry, it'll only be short."
***
We were on our way back to the fleet. Who needs a key when we could break it instead? Now that I've got the real stone this time, Zekrom will certainly come to my command for sure.
"Hey, er... Luna? Just a tinsy bit question."
"Why, Charlotte?"
"Did you kill, Professor Sophie? If you've received my notification, Madam Boss wants her dead."
I paused. "Forgot to look on my phone. Busy with battling, remember? Besides, if I looked at, I wouldn't kill her still."
"Oh, how unusual of you. Has the feared Luna calmed?" wondered Zeal, rubbing my hair.
"No, no," I gazed at the window. "It's even steven now. She saved my life, I showed her mercy. Ye know, she may be a traitor, but without her, I'd be dead. Yes, she is a mother. If only was true to herself rather than following an ideal, maybe Alice wouldn't have to cry later."
"You're going to tell her?"
"The one I call mother hid mine, I can't and won't do the same to her." My nose was a feeling a bit filled today.
