It was time for us to unleash our goal in a cloudy day like this. The cloudy day brings brilliant whites and soul silvers to accent the blues. Currently, the time on our watches are three in the afternoon, and instead of waiting for these monks to finish their practices, we ought to distract them.
I was ready with Absol behind one of the sole and few trees that I could find that is near the Monolith. Once I gave the signal to Valery who was hiding behind another tree, she shot the arrow directly two inches above the base of the silver triangular monolith.
With the fog, the island is blurred like an old painting. The monks began panicking and running around as they couldn't see anything. Meanwhile, I wore my goggles that would enable me and give me access to see what was happening. I have only six minutes before the fog disperses and the monks get notified of what happened to their surroundings.
"Now!"
<Absol! Ab!>
Her keen eyes don't require any goggles. She lounged directly at the monolith and tried chopping it with her claws. It wasn't working at first so I decided to boost things up a bit by commanding her to use Sword Attack.
The monolith was destroyed and brought into ruins. I came in and jolted towards Absol to remove some of the remnants on the very base of the monoliths.
"There it is," I said softly upon finding the singular shard shaped as a curve. It is evident by this that it belongs somewhere beside or is the arches of the oval mirror that we're trying to form.
I sent back Absol afterward and rushed back to Valery whom I could see was leaping with joy after witnessing me claiming the piece.
"Great! I'll keep it again," said Valery.
I gave her the fragment. She placed it inside one of her transparent orbs. From there, we left the monks scrambling around with anxiety and used the boat as our escape vehicle.
"That was by far the quickest and easiest task I've done in my entire life time," I said with high confidence on our way back to Arid mainland.
"Well, if it weren't for you and your Absol."
"Where to next?"
"Not sure, but I recommend we dock at Amadeus Town and get to the Prairie Liszt."
"We have to alert Madam Boss about this, right?"
We called Madam Boss and reported to her our success. She gave us compliments and the details of our next task. It appeared that my accomplice was correct, we would be needing to get through the Prairie Liszt only to reach the location of the next fragment, the Carmen Desert.
It would be a far journey from where we're at and directly going there through boat from the sea wouldn't be enough for our gasoline. From the Prairie, we would be heading to Haydn then Little Bell, pass Wagner City, and off to Schubert.
