Gary vs Ash pt2

Gary and Ash looked at each other before throwing out Pokeballs, "Alakazam, you're back up!" Ash threw out Pidgeot, "Show them your powers, Pidgeot!" Alakazam and Pidgeot appeared on the field, both breathing heavily.

Gary shouted, "Psychock!" Ash shouted, "Double Team!" Gary pointed, "Don't be fooled! It's the right one!" Alakazam blasted the right one as Ash said in disbelief, "How did you know?!" Gary smirked, "You always choose right first, Ash!"

Ash was stunned, damn! He knows me so well!

Pidgeot was slammed to the ground and cried out weakly as Ash shouted, "Hold on, Pidgeot! You can do it!" Pidgeot struggled to stand up and Gary took the time, "Set up another Light Screen and Reflect, Alakazam."

Alakazam wiped his sweat and nodded, "Ala." as he set up more screens, Pidgeot finally got up as Gary said slowly, "Calm Mind as much as you can." Alakazam nodded and calmed down, breathing evenly.

Ash looked worried, "Pidgeot, we have to get rid of him!" Pidgeot nodded and flapped his wings, Ash punched forward, "Hurricane!" a massive Hurricane burst out and swirled around the field as Gary soothed Alakazam, "Don't worry! Just stay calm, Alakazam! Listen to my voice!"

Alakazam nodded, "Ala!" Gary shouted, "Teleport to the right!" Alakazam Teleported and the Hurricane missed! Ash frowned, "Damn! Hyperbeam!" Gary nearly tripped and shouted, "Dodge it with Baton Pass!"

Ash clicked his tongue, frowning, another Baton Pass? Is he going to give up fighting with Alakazam?

A Magmar jumped out, taking the +3 Special Attack buff. 

Magmar burst into flames and shouted, "Magmar!" Ash said, "Tailwind and U-Turn!" Pidgeot flapped his wings as a gust appeared behind him. He swooped down and Gary snapped his fingers, "There's only one person switching Pokemon around here, Ash! And it's me! Fireblast!" Ash shouted, "Stop, Pidgeot!" Pidgeot looked determined and spun on the spot, kicking up a wind and bursting through the Fireblast, slamming into Magmar!

Pidgeot flew back and fainted on the ground as Gary shouted in shock, "Magmar!" Magmar dusted his chest and waved, "Mag Magmar." Gary nodded and Ash took back Pidgeot, "You did good, Pidgeot. Have a rest, buddy!"

Ash looked at Magmar and said, "Squirtle!" Squirtle flew out and spun on his shell before landing on his feet with crossed arms and oversized red sunglasses on his face!

The crowd gasped, "What a stylish Squirtle! That Squirtle's got some spunk! It should be a hard fight!" Ace looked around and rubbed his forehead, these people, really…

Although! The Kamina glasses added a buff!

Anyway…

Gary looked at Squirtle with twitching lips, "Sunny day!" Ash shouted, "Water gun!" Squirtle spit out a powerful water gun at Magmar as Gary shouted, "Dodge it!" Magmar moved to the side as the sun started shining brightly on the stage!

Squirtle pulled at his shell, "Squirt." Ash looked up and said, "Don't worry, Squirtle! Rain Dance!" Squirtle did a little break dance on the ground as Gary shouted, "Stop him! Lava Plume!"

Lava burst from Magmar's body, surging all over the field as Ash shouted quickly, "Water gun at the ground!" Squirtle shot into the air and made a pose as Rain started falling down, covering up the sun.

Gary clicked his tongue, "Damn guy!" Magmar looked upset at the water, "Magmar!" Ash shouted, "Shell Smash!" Gary was stunned and Squirtle smashed his own shell, but still looked the same.

Maybe it would look a bit cursed without its shell…?

At any rate, Squirtle landed on the ground, fixing his glasses, "Squirt." Ash nodded and said "Come on, Squirtle!" Gary frowned and muttered something before his eyes lit up, "Magmar, Overheat at full power!"

Magmar burst with flames, roaring as the flames got more and more violent! 

It was getting hotter and hotter on the field as Gary shouted, "Like this, Magmar! Heat Crash!" Magmar ran over and jumped, slamming down on Squirtle!

Ash shouted, "Squirtle! Spin with Chilling Water!" Squirtle tucked back in his shell and started spinning wildly, spitting out freezing cold water everywhere!

A massive whirlpool appeared and Magmar fell into it as Gary shouted, "No, Magmar! Temper Flare!" Magmar roared in the water, exploding with anger, "MAGMAAAAAAR!" as he broke through the water, smashing into Squirtle!

Squirtle was sent flying and landed on the ground as Squirtle came out of his shell, looking pained, "Squirt." Magmar fell on the ground with spiral eyes.

Gary took Magmar back, frowning. He had 3 Pokemon left including Alakazam that was on his last legs. So far, Ash still had 4! This was tougher than expected.

Ash waved, "You did great, Squirtle!" Squirtle gave him a thumbs up, letting out a heavy breath, "Squirtle…" Ash nodded and looked at Gary, who was contemplating his next Pokemon.

Gary finally decided, "Alright, I believe in you, Blastoise!"

Blastoise jumped out and looked down at Squirtle, "Blast." Squirtle looked vigilant, "Squirtle!" Blastoise looked menacing, "Blastoise-toise!" Gary shouted, "Hydropump!" Ash shouted back, "Rapid spin off it, Squirtle!"

Squirtle returned to his shell and spun on the Hydropump, shooting right at Blastoise's head!

Gary grinned, "Zen Headbutt!" Blastoise headbutted the Squirtle shell and sent Squirtle flying! Ash shouted, "Squirtle!" Squirtle slammed into the ground and Gary shouted, "Now! Ice Beam!" Blastoise spat out an icy blue beam, freezing the ground as Ash shouted, "Squirtle, get out of the way!"

Squirtle jumped out of the way with difficulty as Gary snapped his fingers, pointing out, "Hit him!" Blastoise turned his head and hit Squirtle, freezing him into a popsicle!

Ash shouted, "Squirtle! Break out!" Squirtle struggled but finally was frozen solid!

The referee said, "Squirtle is unable to battle!" Ash looked at Squirtle and didn't know what to do now, Blastoise pushed Squirtle off the stage next to Ash, leaving a nice little frozen Squirtle next to him. 

Ash looked distressed and Squirtle broke out, laying on the ground sadly, "Squirt." Ash smiled at him, "Don't worry, Squirtle, you did great!" Squirtle smiled and nodded, "Squirtle!" Ash took him back and looked at Gary before throwing out, "Bulbasaur, I choose you!"

Gary snorted with crossed arms, "Come on, Ash. You can't beat my Blastoise!" Ash shook a fist, "We'll see about that! Sunny Day!" Gary waved, "Ice Beam!" Ash shouted, "Dodge it, Bulbasaur! Grassy Terrain!"

Bulbasaur ran to the side, dodging the Ice Beam as grass appeared on the field. Gary smirked, "Terrain? Too bad, Ash! Ice Spinner!" Blastoise spun quickly, covering himself in Ice energy as the Grassy Terrain was swept up!

Blastoise smashed into Bulbasaur as Ash said quickly, "Bulbasaur! Solarbeam!" Bulbasaur's bulb opened and blasted a Solar Beam at Blastoise but he was still sent flying!

Bulbasaur rolled on the ground and fainted as Ash frowned, "It's my fault, Bulbasaur. I'm sorry, you did your best." while taking him back.
