So with a sigh Dawn gave up looking for Foxx and instead started to brows the large selection of outfits. Really Dawn had no idea what kind of outfit she'd actually like seeing as she doesn't really change her outfit up that much. Then again there was a few lab assistant outfits she liked and even considered, yet they really weren't her style.
Thus for a bit she decided to give up on looking for an outfit for herself and look for something for Foxx instead, at least for the time being that is. Thus she started back towards the lab coats and lab assistant outfits when she spotted the most amazing outfit she's ever seen. It was a red suit with a white shirt, black mid-thigh boots and elbow length gloves. It also came with a full fox head mask and three fox tails.
With a smile she grabbed the set that looked to be Foxx's size before turning to see a lab coat that would go perfectly with it thus she snatched that up as well before heading for the register. It was at this point that she spotted a cute white tank top, red fur long sleeve coat. It also had a red fuzzy skirt, black knee-high boots, and a cat like ear headband.
Meanwhile in another part of the shop Foxx had found a little machine that customized and personalized charms for a bracelet or collar. Now it took him a bit before he could decide on the right one, and when he did he paid for it and took the freshly wrapped little gift box which he slipped into his pocket before him and Joy began to search for Dawn who they eventually found at the checkout trying to explain to the cashier that it was just too much and she'd have to cancel the purchase.
"Here place it on this card and don't let the pretty little lady say otherwise." called Foxx with a smile as he handed his black vulpix credit card over her shoulder to the cashier who just nodded and took the card.
"No, they are way too much I can't let you buy these things for me." exclaimed Dawn turning to see him and Joy before giving him a playful punch on the shoulder.
"But you can't stop me." teased Foxx as he took his card back and snatched up the bags.
"So what now?" asked Dawn following him out of the store, "You can't afford to keep buying stuff for me like this."
"But I can, you see ever since I was a child I've fixed things or made things for people for money and just have never needed it thus once I left home and began battling people and winning prize money it has only continually added up as it just sat there in an account just waiting to be spent on a beautiful and lovely girl like you." explained Foxx with a smile as he guided her to the next store.
It was a pokeball accessory store and was full of belts, bags stickers key rings, bracelets and all sorts of things like that. Foxx actually was curious and began to examine one of the bracelets realizing that each of the pokeballs are actual functional pokeballs. This made him wonder how hard it would be for him to actually make one himself using the custom ball design he made for Dawn.
"Hay Foxx dear, what you looking at?" asked Dawn from his side.
"Oh just a possible gift idea for you some time down the line." replied Foxx as he put the bracelet back and placed an arm around her waist. From there they looked around the store not really finding anything they liked and thus moved on to the next store.
Thus went the rest of their day until they found themselves at a beautiful little restaurant which just so happened to have a table ready and set just for the two of them with a lovely vase of three red roses and two golden lilies. The waiter was a young brown haired, brown eye lady in a black skirt and grey top.
"Can I get you two anything?" asked the waitress right after seating them at their table.
"Have any recommendations for drinks?" asked Foxx as they both took menus from her and began to look them over.
"We have a lovely butterscotch and creme soda like drink that is our best seller." replied the waitress, who's name tag read Hermonie.
"We'll try it then." replied Foxx with a smile as he looked to Dawn for any objections and when he didn't see them he confirmed it by add, "As for food we may need a minute to look over the menu for a few minutes first."
"That's fine I'll go get those drinks for you while you look over the menu." replied Hermonie before turning and leaving.
"So, when did you arrange this?" asked Dawn as soon as Hermonie was gone and upon noticing that their table was the only one so highly decorated and fancy.
"Well, it was a day long mission as I asked around in each store before eventually sending notice her three stores ago." explained Foxx with a smile
"So is this the big surprise you had for me?" asked Dawn with a smile as she looked over the menu before finally deciding on what she wanted.
"Nope, this is." replied Foxx as he handed her the little wrapped box to which she quickly opened it without any hesitation. Inside was a small silver fox tale wrapped around a sapphire heart charm with silver etching 'Foxx & Dawn Forever'. There was three small silver links before its clasp, which was also made of silver.
"This must have cost you a fortune." replied Dawn looking at the charm.
"If it did I'd still buy it for you because you are more then worth it." replied Foxx with a smile.
After a short laugh they ordered their food before enjoying the rest of their romantic evening which ended in them getting a two bed room at one of the city's hotels. Now this was a simple compromise as Foxx was originally going to get two rooms but didn't want to cause another fight with Dawn so he just gave in at her at her fist dispute.
