Reacquainted at Mt Pyre

After walking for about half an hour taking in the sights on the way, the group makes their way to the ferry and after an hour ride to Mt Pyre they finally arrive. The first off the boat is Michael. He starts to head inside alone and looks around the room he is in. It's filled with gravestones and people paying respects to their loved ones.

Michael keeps walking to the stairs but Finn catches up to him. "Yo dude, slow down. You know that Em looks at every little detail of everywhere we go." Michael keeps walking and not responding to Finn. Finn puts his hand on Michael's shoulder but Michael brushes it off. "Do you have a problem with me or something?" Finn asks as he gets in front of Michael.

Michael sighs. "No I don't have a problem with you but the sooner I meet this Elite four member I get to see her. So as you can tell, I'm in a rush." Finn smiles at him and extends his fist out for him. "You don't have to be so stoic about it. I don't know how important this person is to you but just give me a heads up when you are gonna do something so I don't have to worry," Michael smiles as well and returns the gesture. "Don't worry about me, I won't be far." He then takes off for the stairs again.

After their exchange, Emelia and Machi meet up with Finn and they catch up to Michael on the second highest level of the building they were in after looking around for about twenty minutes. Michael turns to see the three of them and walks over to them. "I'm going to let Shinx look around for a bit before we head outside at head up to the top floor." Michael throws a Pokeball up in the air and Shinx comes out. He heads towards Machi and rubs against her legs. Machi starts petting him behind the ear just how he likes it.

"Hi friend, has Michael been taking care of you?" Shinx nods his head with a joyful expression then snaps his head to the door leading outside. He tilts his head back and starts sniffing the air. "What's up bud? What do you smell?" Shinx looks at Michael and then runs to the door. Michael follows Shinx to the open doorway and they head outside. Emelia facepalms. "Why are we always running or battling something? Can we just get a single day to not worry about something new?"

Finn grabs her hand and pulls her along. "Sometimes it's fun to make trouble." Emelia then starts running on her own next to Machi as Finn sprints to catch up to Michael. Michael is just behind Shinx as he runs outside into the foresty area leading to the top. He dashes into the bushes and is running towards a sleeping Pokémon leaning against a tree. The sleeping Pokémon wakes up and sees Shinx running at it and gets defensive. Shinx runs up to the Pokémon and jumps at her. She braces herself and waits for the attack. But before she gets hit Michael yells out.

"Roserade? Wait, if you're here then where is..." Before he can finish his question, he's cut off by a girl yelling at him. "SPARKY!" Michael turns around just in time to see an orange and green blur tackle him to the ground. Finn gets there right before he is tackled then Emelia and Machi arrive as she is laying on top of him. Finn turns to Emelia with a smile on his face. "I think Michael will be fine." The girl on top of Michael is holding him in a hug and Michael returns the hug.

The girl laying on Michael has ginger hair with a black headband. She's wearing a black crop top long sleeve covered by a green cloak. Tan/Orange cargo shorts with the bottom ripped up.

They both laid there for a few minutes before Michael starts talking to her. "You can get off of me now." The girl shakes her head while still holding him down. Machi runs over and tries to pull her off of him. She successfully gets her off him and the two of them start to shout at each other. Michael sits up looking at the two girls shouting. "Shinx, Roserade, stop them." While everything was happening Roserade was sitting against a tree petting Shinx. Then they both jump up and run over to stop them.

Emelia walks over to calm down Machi with Shinx and Finn walks to Michael and gives him a hand to get up. Michael and Finn go to the girl to calm her down as well. Finn gets in between her and Machi. "Okay. How about we relax and have a normal conversation because I don't know if you know but you're boyfriend got you a ride here since he cares about you so much." After saying that to her she calms down and looks at Michael blushing. "Did you really bring me here because you care about me so much?" She asked while turning her head in a shy manner.

Michael responds while walking up to her. "Of course I did. I want to protect you but I can't do that without you next to me." The girl looks like she was about to embrace him but then she stops. "What do you mean by protect me? What did you do?" She asks him with a sarcastic tone. "I was really hoping to have this conversation later." Michael sighs and tells her what happened. "I disobeyed my parents and now they might be sending Myles after me." 

Emelia walks up to Michael and the girl. "I didn't know you had a girlfriend Michael. Is that why you were running through the whole tower basically yelling "Where is she?"" Michael looks away from the girl blushing. She then pulls him in for a hug immediately. She reaches out one of her hands while still hugging him. "Hi I'm Gardenia of Eterna City. I'm actually training to become the Gym leader for Eterna City."

As Gardenia finishes her explanation Finn turns his head towards the entrance and sees a girl in a bikini with a towel around her waist walking towards them. Emelia seeing this, she politely addresses her. "I'm sorry for my friends behavior. My name is Emelia." Emelia then extends her arm for a hand shake. The girl smiles and offers her hand. "Hi I'm Phoebe. The Ghost of Hoenn's Elite Four."
