CHAPTER 21 – NEW COMPANION

The next morning...

It was early, but as we wanted to get to the MT. Moon early in order to arrive to Cerulean City before nightfall, we decided to get up a little early, however, when we woke up, we both looked into each other's eyes and when we remembered yesterday's night of passion, we both blushed.

Neither of them knew very well what to say, especially Celeste, who didn't know what to do in this situation. "Well, let's go!" – I said.

Then, when we tried to leave the room, Celeste lost her balance.

"Celeste!" – I said.

I quickly prevented it from falling.

"Ouch, thank you, Ash, I think it hurts down there more than I thought" – Celeste said.

They were two boxes containing two different pills.

"What kind of pills are they and why are you giving them to us?" - asked Celeste.

"Ehem, they're pills so you don't get pregnant and take away the pain you feel down there" - said nurse Joy.

Hearing this, we were both stunned, had it really been heard?

"It's okay, you're young and it was your first time, it's normal to be careless, just close the door completely next time... also, don't be ashamed, now that you're engaged, having sex is normal, but you both have goals to accomplish and you can't have a child now, so take these pills every time you have sex and don't worry if you run out of them, as they're available in all Pokémon stores" - Nurse Joy smiled.

"Pika pi!" – Pikachu said.

"You're welcome" - said nurse Joy.

Pikachu hadn't understood a single word of their conversation, but she understood that it was time to leave and perched on Ash's shoulder, her favorite place.

When I left the Pokémon Center, I found Celeste, who didn't seem embarrassed at all, unlike a few seconds ago.

"Let's go!" – Celeste exclaimed.

"Wait, don't you want to have breakfast?" – I asked.

"We'll buy something on the way, let's go!" – Celeste said.

If Celeste saw that nurse Joy again... She couldn't look her in the face of the shame she felt right now.

"Okay..." – I nodded.

Then, we set off towards Route 3, a route that would take us to the MT. Moon.

On the way we bought some buns for the three of us and enjoyed them as we crossed the city in search of Route 3, which we soon found.

"Come on, according to Roxanne, we'll get to Cerulean City if we don't stop" - I said.

Technically it's more than 12 hours, but it was very early, so we have plenty of time, of course, that is if we don't stop, otherwise, we will have to spend a day at the Pokémon Center that is located at the entrance of the MT. Moon.

We kept walking, but just as we reached the entrance to Route 3, we heard a voice.

"Hey, wait for me, don't go without me!" – exclaimed a voice.

Confused, we turned and saw that the person who called us was Roxanne.

"Good morning, Roxanne" – I said.

"Good morning" – Celeste said.

"Pika pi" – Pikachu said.

"Good morning to the three of you, uff... thank goodness it occurred to me that this could happen and I came early, otherwise I wouldn't have caught up with you" – Roxanne said.

"Did you want to tell us something?" – I asked.

What did she have to tell us that was so important?

"Ehem, I want to be your adventure partner" – Roxanne said.

"I want to be your companion in adventures, I have never taken a trip and now that I have plenty of time, I would like to accompany you on yours, isn't that possible?" – Roxanne said.

Then, she grabbed my arm and looked at me with the face of a wounded puppy, my weakness.

Celeste saw Roxanne's intentions and knew that she was smitten with Ash.

"Haa... I wanted to have it for a while to myself, but... fate has not wanted it that way" – Celeste sighed.

"Is something wrong with you, Celeste?" – I asked curiously.
