Chapter 0: READ ME (So you're prepared)

Hello fellow readers!

As promised, this is a complete redo of A Reincarnated Tale: Pokemon! Chapters will begin tomorrow 12/15/2024! Don't be surprised if you see chapters suddenly taken down!

I mulled going back and forth if I should just continue adding chapters, but I decided to start from scratch again.

Here's the list of changes to this fanfic:

-Slight change to fanfic title Pokemon: A Reincarnated Tale!

-The entirety of the prologue volume will be taken out! No more 5 year old superkid mumbo-jumbo.

-The new Vol 1 will begin with the timeskip taking place right off the bat!

-Starting point will be fresh. 

-The main character's name will no longer be Japanese. It will be changed to an English name.

-Romance will be a primary theme from the very beginning of the story as a result of the immediate timeskip.

-Romance Partners will remain the same. Cynthia may or may not be included later on. (To be decided)

-Lemon scenes will happen randomly and sporadically. There will be a little pause during chapters, indicated with a * when the lemon scene begins. I may or may not add (+) to chapter titles to also indicate that it includes a lemon scene.

-I know there's another popular fanfic that's exploring Paldea, so I will not try to clash interests with that fanfic. Starting region will still be Kanto, and most likely followed with Johto!

-Adults will be recognized by age 15 in the Pokemon World. This is equivalent to turning 20 in Japan. (Just roll with it)

-Battles will have include various battle strategies. Gym leaders will be able to use Megas, Z-Moves, and such. The only restrictions are Dynamax (Galar-only) and Terastallization (Paldea-only). They have not become widespread as other battle mechanics have turned out.

-I will keep Chapter 1 untouched. It has a lot of comments on it and I will feel bad seeing that wiped away. Instead, just treat it as it follows: Pokemon Egg 200 Karma Points, Good Background 200 Karma Points Healthy Body 100 Karma Points Easy Bonding 100 Karma Points, Aura-Capable 50 Karma Points, remaining 40 converted into Pokedollars.

-Technology will be modern, scaled to present year 2024. Pokedex will be modeled after Pokemon Horizons, which is basically a touch screen phone. Item pouches and infinite Pokemon storage tech and such exist.
