We woke up early the next morning. Delia had already made breakfast before she came back in and woke me up. We had a nice breakfast and I stored some of the food in my space so we could eat some normal food on our trip. We had locked her place up by 8am and went to the Pokemart. We stopped by and bought 10 more pokeballs, another larger inflatable mattress, a very large tent that could fit a large team, some expandable chairs and other commodities that we will setup inside the space. I had my hands full and my backpack full on the way out of the store. We were on the way out the south gate and we noticed Professor Oak at the gate. He saw us walking to the gate and he came over to us. PO-"Hey Delia, I thought you might be leaving this morning. I got you a pokedex here. I hope it helps you on your trip. I also brought you a pokemon, it's a caterpie. I hope when you use it you think of me." D-"Thank you Professor Oak but that's okay. Bash has already got me a pokemon. I really appreciate the pokedex. We will let you know of our luck." Delia grabbed the Pokedex out of his hand and smiled at me. D-"Thanks again professor, we have to get going." PO-"You guys can't leave without Pokemon, you will be attacked in the woods." B-"It's okay Oak, I have my buddy to watch out for us." I grabbed Delia's hand and started walking by Professor Oak. D-"See you later Professor, Bye"

I looked back and smiled at him. I could see a vein popping out on his forehead. I thought it was too funny. That old man had the hots for Delia but was cockblocked by a kid half Delia's age. I would be pissed to, if that happened to me. After leaving the gates we head to the woods. Once we got in the woods, I called Storm and Lucy out. Lucy looked like she about to pop. I had tossed almost everything into the storage now. I kept the backpack plus essentials that will fool anyone that is curious about us. B-"Storm and Lucy, are you guys ready to go hunting?" Storm-"haha yes very much, it was boring locked up the space." B-"sorry about that buddy, we are going to be spending some time in the woods trying to catch some strong pokemon. The weaker ones are free for you guys to kill. Let me scan you guys first and see what the Pokedex says." I pulled the pokedex out and scanned Lucy first.

B-"What does this needs updating mean Delia?" D-"Ever sense the change in the pokemon that feature has become useless. Pokemon no longer only have certain abilities. They learn other pokemon abilities, it has been documented that a Bulbasaur had wind abilities. Some say that if pokemon eat enough cores of a certain pokemon they may get their abilities. But not much has been proven." B-"Looks like we will need to do some testing. Lets head to the cliff and see if we can get lucky. Storm, head out and see if you can sense any pokemon in the area." Storms physic ability has gotten stronger, he is able to sense any living object within 100 meters of him. I also noticed his shadow meld has also gotten better. He practically vanishes in dark shadows, which is amazing to watch as he runs through the woods. B-"Lucy you stick with us for now." We headed toward the cliffs. Walking for a while we could finally hear the waves crashing against the rocks. I got a message from Storm, Storm-"I have 3 rats up here fighting a blue thing on the beach." We ran to the edge of the tree line and saw 3 rattatas attacking a green squirtle. I took my pokedex out and scanned it.

He was attacked from behind by one of the rats. I was going to watch for a minute, but I was going to capture this guy. He was a variant and I'm sure he would be an awesome Pokemon. The rat had grabbed onto his tail and wasn't letting go. The Squirtle charged the closest rat and smashed into him with his shell. The rat flew into the ocean at least 20 meters away from the coast. The first rat was able to hold onto his tail somehow. The last rat was a good distance, squirtle turned and fired what looked like a bubble beam but it was green looking instead of blue. It hit the rat and knocked it back a few feet. The rat was covered in a green sludge and couldn't move. The squirtle charge it and slammed into it. The rat flew a few more meters away. Its legs were sticking to its body. The sludge was as strong as glue. The squirtle started spinning in a circle and was able to bite the rat was attached to his tail. Squirtle started shaking his head trying to rip the rat apart. The rat finally screamed and let go of squirtle's tail. That sealed its death. The rat was shaken like a rag doll, and finally tossed on the sludge covered rat. Squirtle shot the sludge beam on the 2 rats. He walked toward them leaving a trail of blood from the bites on his limbs. The rats kept hissing at him. He walked over bit the small one's head and crushed it. He walked toward the 2nd rat and did the same thing. After crushing the 2 rat skulls in its mouth he looked toward the water not seeing anything. B-"Storm go subdue him, be careful of the sludge attack." Storm-"Got it." I watched as storm ran out of the tree line not far from us and charged right at the squirtle. Being on the beach Storm couldn't use any surprise attacks against the squirtle. When Storm got close, I noticed the squirtle was shaking his head and staggering back and forth. This mental attack was way OP but I'm not complaining one bit. Storm ran up and simple grabbed the squirtle by its neck as it was flailing about. Talk about an anti-dramatic finish. He carried the squirtle by its neck to us. The squirtle was thrashing about but not doing any good considering it was in mouth of a predator that could bite it in half. I looked at Delia, B-"do you want this squirtle to be your pokemon?"

MFVO- Will Delia take this variant pokemon as her first pokemon? Will she pass and just wait for Lucy to give birth? Will Bash speed up the process of catching pokemon? Will the author give us some drama in this story, its getting kinda boring don't you guys think?"
