The government seized their home, and the remaining funds allocated for Sam were pilfered by the corrupt officials. Left with nothing, he was cast into the lawless slums beyond the fortress walls. For a year, he endured a life of destitution and despair until succumbing to malnutrition.

Despite experiencing such wretched circumstances, Sam found himself pondering how he could still maintain a clear train of thought in the face of such misery.

As he contemplated, something appeared before him once again:

"Hello? What is this again?" Sam questioned, but there was no reply. "Well, at least things are changing in this place unlike last time."

Sam had no knowledge of what this space truly was or its purpose. He decided to go with the flow, speculating that it might offer him unlimited lives, allowing him to be reborn indefinitely and granting him various things with each life.

However, he hesitated to test his theory by dying again and returning to this place, fearing that it could be his last chance in life. He acknowledged that some games only granted three lives, and he didn't want to waste them needlessly. "Yeah, better not try dying for nothing."

Deciding to study the cards further, Sam focused his attention on the texts in front of him. He noticed a clickable option beside the body creation card and willed himself to click on it, causing the text to change.

"So, it can help me create my desired body and grant it abilities?" Sam questioned, yet once again received no response.

Sam questioned the lack of response but proceeded to examine the information regarding the artifact creation card.

[Artifact creation card: Lets the user create an artifact with 2 abilities] [Use]

"Hey! Is it true that I can create a body and an artifact with these things? If you guys don't reply, then don't blame me if I use them!" Sam exclaimed, frustrated by the silence.

Feeling determined, he decided to use the body creation card. Another text appeared, presenting him with options:

However, he also noticed a list of limitations for the abilities:

- Abilities cannot create other abilities.

- Abilities cannot steal or copy other abilities.

- Abilities require energy to activate.

- Abilities cannot create other conscious living beings.

- Abilities cannot manipulate time, space, or reality.

- Abilities cannot control the minds of other beings.
