Chapter 11: A Cursed Child

Back to the Yun's residence.

I followed father into the house. The house is exactly how I remembered it. Twin stairs leading to the second, third, and four floor. On the first floor is the living room and kitchen. Right now voices are coming out of the living room.

Father led us to the living room. As we got closer to the entrance of the living I saw "mom", grandpa, and my so called sister. Mom was arguing with grandpa.

"I can't believe that you guys are really bringing her back here. I told you that I don't want to see her ever again. That child is a curse I tell you!"

"Well that child is your daughter I can't believe what I am hearing. She was kicked out the house before she can roll over on her own. Are you sure you are the mother, you certainly don't act like one. I shouldn't have let my beloved son marry such a heartless woman. No wonder my wife never liked you."

We came to the entrance of the living room. It seems no one realize we are here. Yun Ming Huo, my mother, her face was twisted making her face ugly. She was staring at grandpa. If looks can kill, then grandpa would have died a thousand times already.

I looked at father and he looked angry. I tugged on father's suit and gave him my big teary eyed face.

"Daddy, does mom hate Xiao Yue? Is it that why Xiao Yue couldn't come home? Does that mean Daddy hate me too?"

Once I said that I got everyone's attention. Dad looked at me with so much hurt. He turned to me and patted me on the head and smiled.

"Of course not Xiao Yue. Daddy loves you the most."

Now giving Daddy my sparkly excited eye attack.

"Really?! Daddy loves Xiao Yue. I am so happy."

He nodded his head.

"Yes. Really. Who ever bullies my adorable Xiao Yue, I will crash them."

His words was like a bomb to everyone in room. Well not everyone. Grandfather was nodding his head in approval of his statement. The mother and daughter pair face turned pale.

This is what I was aiming for. So they will think twice before trying to harm me or with their petty games.

Ahem

We turned to look at grandfather. Once our eyes met it was like we have same reaction. We both began to cry. Grandpa had the silent tears while mine I am sad to say was the waterworks.

"Grandpa!"

I ran into his arms. He wrapped his arm around me and patting me on the head with the other.

"I never thought I get to see these pair of eyes again. Step back. Let me have a good look at you."

He pushed me back and use both of his hands to lift up my face. He smiled.

" You look just like your grandmother when she was around your age. Your grandmother must have known I missed her so much that she sent apart of herself in you."

All of sudden a scream.

"Ahhhhhh! Get that a cursed child away from me! She will bring disaster to our family!"
