Ehey! They are looking for trouble.

Karl and his companions arrived in Seattle after a ten-hour journey; this was Karl's second visit to America.

Rachel was overjoyed by the scenery, she literally jumped to everything she saw and Karl had to go pull her back, was it when she saw a luggage shuttle, that was very ridiculous, Karl was pissed at the fact that she got excited by a luggage shuttle, when she also so an albino, she wanted to get her autograph, she was on about how she had only seen her in movies.

"Miss, I'm not sure I've ever filmed a movie before," the albino muttered to her, and Karl had to pull her up by the collar and drag her back to their waiting place, because the idea was to wait for the ride that was supposed to pick them up.

Unbeknownst to them, their uniform was highly popular in the neighborhood, and these particular delinquents had their sights set on them.

"Did you notice... they were emblazoned with the Esper Academy emblem?" According to one of the boys at the airport, it appeared that they were also waiting for their trips back to school.

"Imagine defeating one of those and ripping his badge off his outfit; I'm sure that will make our teachers extremely happy," another added.

"Should we give it a shot?" Stefan, a big kid with braces on his teeth, inquired.

"But they're six in number, whereas we're only five," a short lad pointed out.

"That's where you come in, Alphos... and basically, we're in our final years, we know how to construct an interdimensional environment, the entire airport wouldn't even know some youngsters are going all out." The wavy orange-haired teen stated.

"Nice proposal, Tom; that's why you're always the smartest; there's no better time to do this, since we're just getting back from our lost city exploration, with our new items and skills we can pull through." said a black-haired man with grey eyes. "Well, of course... Kautner, I pick the dark one with two swords on his back, you pick the white-haired youngster, I feel he should be the weakest of them all, my gut tells me so... I mean, the others are discharging a tremendous amount of energy, but I can't feel anything from him; he's probably a D rank, which should be easy for you, who is a B rank, right?"

"Yes, Tom," Kautner replied.

"All right, let's get it done before our transportation arrives."

They instantly vanished into thin air.

And meanwhile,

"...Wait?! It's definitely sayounara for you if you leave here again."

"Eh? What exactly is that?" Rachel said this with a scrunched face, purportedly to mock Karl's attempt to use the Japanese phrase.

"What?"

"Come off it, it doesn't even fit you"

Karl felt a little self-conscious.

[We discussed following the trend]

'And I recall you telling me that Japanese words were part of the trend.'

[Not when you're speaking like you've had hot water in your mouth...you're still old fashioned even though you're attempting to be updated]

'...I'm going to stop striving to be like these youngsters.'

[And you'll keep being a motherfucking old guy in the body of a gorgeous youngster]

'Jesus! Black such atrocious word? where did you learn them?'

[When was the last time you went to a church, Baka]

"...anyways that has nothing to do with this... your family is the second most powerful in all this earth and you can't even get over a luggage shuttle?"

"Well, I haven't seen one before..." Rachel's eyes welled up with tears as she murmured those words.

"Eh? You've never seen anything like it before?" Quinn was the first to be taken aback, and even Akinwale, who had been keeping a cool and silent demeanor, was compelled to adjust his look.

"...that's difficult to believe coming from Lady Burton herself... even though I'm a local, I have seen these things before... in movies" Pascal said.

"Wait now, how does that even add up. Both of you have literally not seen petty things like this before" "And you're making a big deal out of a luggage shuttle," Ezelda pointed out to Pascal

"No, I'm not making a big deal out of a luggage shuttle; I'm making a huge deal out of the fact that she's a Burton and has never seen a luggage shuttle."

"You guys don't get it, being a part of the Burton family isn't as thrilling as you all think it is from the outside, Akinwale can probably relate because his family is the first...being imprisoned in your house and not being able to play with other kids—"

"...Perhaps it's time to call it quits on the sob story," Ezelda suggested.

Rachel looked up belatedly, and all the boys were vanished. "W-what is going on?" Rachel yelled.

"...I'm not sure... I didn't even see what happened; it was as if they just vanished; my guess is that we're being ambushed..." Ezelda stated.

"Should we notify the academy?" Rachel inquired, still composed.

'Even though she's recommending that we contact the academy, why does it appear that she's making that recommendation because of me, I mean, all her party just vanished and she's so composed?' observed Ezelda. 'What on earth are these golden spoons being taught?' "I think it's fine... we should be able to manage situations like this, and those guys are tough."

"I know right," Rachel said as she took her seat.

"What are you doing?" Ezelda was taken aback by Rachel's actions.

"What do you mean...?"

"Your partner? aren't you worried about him?"

"Ehhh? Are you sure you're serious right now? Why would I waste my time worrying about him when I might just be worrying about us who are standing here without him? But I'm curious how they managed to infiltrate us and avoid detection; did they have some kind of stealth ability user? I'll just take a snooze till they're finished."

Ezelda was taken aback by Rachel's calm demeanor; she had never seen such a relaxed attitude in the face of danger in her life; she knew Karl was strong, but she wondered, '...how strong is he for her to be this trusting???' She found the situation awkward and just shyly took the seat beside Rachel.

Karl took a peek around.

[Subspace]

'Similar to Dark Castle'

[Unlike a zone, this is much inferior; it is a simple skill that allows you to utilize atmospheric esp to build a duplicate of space; it will be a fake, but it will be a fake in the original; it cannot be seen by anybody, but the power of its endurance relies on the esper or possibly hunter.]

[And this is pretty formidable; judging by its durability, it's definitely an A rank, which you Karl can easily tear out of]

"... Uwitaris, espers' school," Akinwale stated.

"What you know them?" Quinn said.

"Aside from Esper's academy, they are one of the two best academies." Akinwale replied.

"But what do they have to do with us?" Pascal said.

They were all four on four and stood apart from each other. Akinwale took a glance around and stated, "This was meticulously organized, four versus four."

"They probably want to humiliate us," Pascal continued.

"I'm taking the most powerful." Karl smirked and swung his arm, preparing to unleash the strike."

~whoosh~

Karl cocked his head as the wind attack brushed passed him. There was no blood on his skin, but there was a small scratch. "That was sharp," Karl added.

"Hmph..." "...After all the talk, you can't even dodge breeze," mocked Akinwale.

Karl ignored him, he gritted his teeth, 'That bastard' Karl took a step forward towards the long black-haired boy with his palm outstretched.

"Come closer, and it will spoil your nice face this time," Kautner yelled from his perch.

"I had no idea Kautner was pretty tough like that, I can't believe he taunted him from the start and is now making killer lines, I guess hanging out with me has made him too," Tom laughed.

"Of course, who hangs out with you and doesn't get rough, you're contagious," Stefan remarked.

'I can't believe he dodged that, I poured all my effort into that but he simply evaded it like that, damn I was hoping to end this early, but Tom is correct, now that I am closer to him, I can't even feel an ounce of esp coming from him,' Kautner muttered in his head. 'He most likely just got lucky.'

"...how strange," Karl massaged his chin, "where is the fifth one of them; the one that made it so we can't sense them?"

"What's that, aren't they just four... everything was so sudden, now that you mention it. I guess you're worth the talk; if you saw him, why didn't you notify us?" Pascal questioned.

"Because I'd ruin the surprise the enemy had planned for us. That is something I despise."
