Her life is in danger
As they stood outside, Cameron's mind raced with a mix of emotions—confusion, anger, and desperation. He wanted to march back inside and demand answers from Ava, to ask her why she was with someone else when she was carrying his child.
But Jake's words echoed in his mind'"Take it slow, don't push her further away".
"I can't just stand by and do nothing," Cameron finally said, his voice trembling with frustration. " I feel like I'm losing her even more."
Jake nodded, understanding his turmoil he was going through. "I know, but you have to trust that this will work out. Ava is hurt, and right now, she needs time to process everything. If you rush in, she might close herself off completely."
Cameron ran a hand through his hair, exhaling sharply. "So, what do I do? Just pretend like I'm okay with this?"
