Into The Inferno

When the school bell rang Momo and Soren made there way out of the gym, this time they were prepared and didn't allow themselves to get sucked into Rico's madness. She was still jabbering away still doing push-ups clearly she was so absorb in her own madness she didn't notice her students leaving. When the two exited the gym they saw a woman waiting for them, she was young maybe 20 years old and her hair was in a messy bun, she wore a very visually loud pink outfit everything she wore was pink her sweater, her shoes even her dress was pink, and when she spoke it cleared up why this young woman was dressed like a old lady.

"There y'all are!"

She said in a thick southern accent.

"I's wanted to catch you before y'all took off, I'm Betty Sue and I'm the secretary for the principal"

"Oh.. ok I'm Soren, nice to meet you"

He said politely.

"You talk funny"

Momo shot out without a single bit of decency or care in the world, Soren quickly and roughly elbowed her in  the side, she grimaced and tried to correct herself.

"Sorry I mean you speak weirdly"

Soren elbowed her again for her rudeness but the hot pink woman standing before them named Betty Sue didn't see it as rude at all.

"Well that's cuss I'm from the south honey, born and raised"

She smiled a nice southern smile and they noticed her lipstick was pink too.

"You got a one track mind when you dress huh?"

Momo blurted out again unbothered if she hurt the woman's feelings, but Betty Sue still wasn't quick on the up take.

"Hmmm? what was that honey?"

She asked curiously but before Momo could fix her lips and say another word Soren elbowed her for the third time, harder then the last two times.

"Nothing!! She said nothing Ma'am, so how can we help you ?"

Soren asked frantically trying his best to move the conversation on.

"Oh well you don't need to help me shuga I'm here to help you or more like i'm here to help her"

Betty Sue pointed right at Momo, and for the love of god they saw that even her finger nails were painted pink.

"If you mean for cloths I'm good I don't think your fashion sense is for me"

Momo said clearly mortified.

"Huh? Now what are you talking about silly girl"

She said as she walked up to Momo interlocking her arm with her own.

"I'm here to show you to your class"

"But wait why?"

"Because darling the class your taking is not in this building, it's in the central building"

"But why the hell is it ther-"

Momo couldn't finish her sentence because she was forcefully being lead by the woman dressed like a pink eraser.

"No time for chit-chat darling I gotta get you there lickity split or Dante will have my hide"

"Who's Dante... will you slow down!!!"

But she didn't slow down she just kept on power walking in her pink heels, she didn't acknowledge the girl she was hooked to but she did turn around and address the boy.

"YOUR LAST CLASS IS LOCATED ON THE SAME FLOOR AS THE OTHERS SHUGA YOU SHOULD FIND IT REAL EASY, YOUR TEACHER MISS EVELYN IS A DOLL, OK BYE!"

She screamed all this in the hallway then waved at him then turned and kept on trucking as Momo was still hooked to her. Momo tried to fight her but surprisingly Betty Sue was strong her connection with Momo never broke and she never slowed down her pace not until they stopped at the central buildings elevator, she pushed the button to call it and when it came they entered that's when Betty sue finally let Momo go. As Momo rubbed her arm Betty sue clicked the button down on the elevator, the two sat in pure silence for a while then Betty Sue broken the ice.

"By the way I love your hair I always wanted to dye mines but I'm not to bold"

"Only someone bold could dress the way you do"

Momo said this in a tone that was meant to be taken as a insult her style but Betty Sue took it as a compliment, she snorted like a pig laughing and blushing as she acted bashful.

"Aww shucks"

She said playfully hitting Momo on the arm.

"Your just saying that"

She wasn't trying to, didn't mean to and didn't want to compliment her but Momo just kept her trap shut and let her believe what she wanted to. The road down took quite a while, actually it was a long time speaking in elevator time usually it would take a few seconds but it was a full minute and they were still going. Betty Sue was smiling still on cloud 9 from Momo's unintentional compliment but the longer they road the more bothered Momo became.

"What's taking so long... what kinda class is takes place in a basement, whys it taking place in a basement?"

Momo asked this slightly frazzled being in the elevator longer then expected was clearly getting to her, noticing this Betty Sue grabbed her hand stroking it gently and in her strong southern drawl she simple said.

"Shhhh calm down darling everything is fine, it won't take much longer were almost there"

But her attempts did nothing because Momo snatched her hand away rather rudely, this out of all the things she had said or done is what Betty Sue noticed, she smiled a little then said.

"Ya got some fire to ya a lot but Dante will break a stallion like you in no time and wipe you in to shape"

Momo turned glaring at the woman, and when she spoke she almost snarled .

"So pinky who's Dante"

"His a first year teacher, he was hired when you were enrolled to train you and teach you how to use your gifts as a hybrid"

"So his like me?"

"Oh no child Dante's all human"

"*Tsk*, then what can he teach me?"

Betty Sue only stepped closer to the elevator doors no longer wanting to see Momo in her peripheral vision, when she was out of her sight she finally answered Momo.

"More than you know darling because your new teacher is a Demon Hunter one of the best of the best according to the boss man, the great Dante Pharaoh"

Momo would have asked what a Demon Hunter was but there elevator had finally come to a stop and the doors opened. What the door opened to was a long dark corridor only lit partially by candles along the wall and also on the wall were strange ornaments hanging from each candle. Betty Sue stepped out into the basement without a single word spoken and Momo did the same keeping her mouth shut as she followed close behind. The walk was short and silent excluding the *click clack* sound of Betty Sues heels made after ever step she took. Before they made it too the classroom door they passed two others the first was a large metal door locked up tight, as they passed it Momo saw it read Detention on the door. The next door was a regular door and it read Lost & Found, after a little further another door came into view and this one they stopped at. 101 was engraved on the door Betty Sue looked at her watch and yes it was pink, she gave it a quick once over then began to make her trip back.

"Well would you look at the time"

She said power walking back the way she came.

"His in there, so just stroll on in"

The *clickity clack* of her heels kept echoing until she was back on the elevator, Momo watched her leave and when she was gone Momo opened the 101 door. When she did many things caught her eye first off was the room, she expected a normal size classroom but the room that she had just entered was as big as a empty warehouse, it was well lit and huge and excluding a few things it was empty. There was nothing in the room but Momo a man and the thing that he sat on, After she saw it and I mean really saw it her eyes were drawn to that thing and only that thing. The man saw what grabbed her attention and laughed.

"Her names Sprinkles!"

He said standing up from his living seat.

"And I'm Dante, so you must be the mutt that I'm training"

So on September 03, 2021 both Momo and Soren met there 6th period teachers, Soren met his very eccentric art teacher Miss Evelyn while Momo met her Demonology teacher Dante and his pet demon Sprinkles.
