Pinch my cheeks, I'm the villainous AI

My name was Finn and I wrote... Stella and the celestial bodies! A wonderful novel I wrote to get girls. That was by far the dumbest thing I've ever thought of. Though that wasn't the whole truth. As that's what I told my friends who read the female oriented novel. Now however... Now I regret every version of the story. With my early death of slipping on a lego and falling off my balcony while live-streaming. So by far, my most embarrassing moment. To my surprise though time stopped just before I hit that ground and I heard a voice. It asked me if I wanted to be saved. Saying yes, I now say I regret my decision. ----- I don't own art obviously and its AI generated

A cube for data

I tossed a small cube in the air. It was a simple device, but it was far too needed. Though I doubted people would enjoy it. The cube I was holding would scan someone and produce a... uh 'status'.

A status was the easiest way to describe it. The problem is people would not enjoy seeing how those numbers are revealed. Scanning myself it would give no scores, sense I lacked muscles, grey matter and so on. At most I could get a charisma score.

This however didn't matter. As its best function was to scan people and compare them. The more data the better numbers it could create. So I had to get some data first. Which meant I had to scan a ton of people.

Lucky, Lucky me, I had favors since I sold all those blueprints. Combine that with one of the people I made the device for. I have a pretty good idea of what I could do to get said data.

I would use a date with Hazel to not only pull her closer, but to also gain the right data. Since in a stadium you will have a wide variety of people. Though, I'd still need data on more high charisma low athletics.

Actually I might have a good idea for that. I'd have to get a plane and go over to another country. From there it would just be me selling some blueprints related to sound control. I could then get data from singers. Specially k-pop singers, well on Nearth there was no Korea. Though that didn't really stop them from existing since I wrote characters that....

"Oh boy, is that a rabbit hole."

First let's just create that talent agency. Connecting to internet was easy as sitting on the couch. Creating the company was easy enough. I just had to collect the paperwork and fake employees. Truth is I just created a sub-program to run the thing.

The sub-program was like a little baby AI, I'll name him Larry the AI. His job would be to organize and direct the company. Taking care of most interactions and whatever else. The downside to this is that Larry would have to manage whoever is recruited through non-person interactions.

Aka I'd have to rely on said individuals to actually listen to him over the phone or whatever. I guess that means I have to design a voice for Larry. I'll give him three voices that interchange depending on the person getting managed. Since Larry could speak any language I'll give him the voices based on dialectic of continent.

A second later everything was complete... "Oh, man. Now what? I guess I collected the people?"

"Collect what people?"

I heard a voice behind me and I jumped up and threw a kick toward the voice. The person wasn't hit, but did fall backwards. I blinked, it was June. I frowned as she shook off the shock of nearly getting kicked in the face.

"Why are you in my house?" June stuttered, "Y-You didn't answer the door and it was unlocked."

I raised an eyebrow, "So that gives you the right to break into my home like a video game protagonist?"

June shook her head, "Uh, sorry. I just... Didn't expect much."

She was startled and lucky. If she was actually kicked from me. She likely wouldn't have gotten up. June got to her feet and paused, "You have a very fast kick."

With my obvious disinterest she continued. "My father wishes to meet you."

I paused, so she gave the contents to the USB to her father instead of the police. I knew she would eventually give up on trying to be a member of the police. However I am surprised she was already turning her back on them.

I had written her character with three things in mind. She was the rebellious daughter, she didn't like violence, and she was a flawed judge. Which led her being a member of the police trying to clean up her father's organization. However due to her origins she would be outcasted amongst the police. This is why she drinks and smokes so much at the beginning of the novel.

She rubbed her arms, "Look I'm sorry I just walked in. When I met you before, you seemed... look just stop staring at me like that."

I looked at the mirror on the wall and noticed my expression. It was a robotic disapproval. It seemed I needed to practice my expressions more. I still couldn't seem to expressive myself right.

I turned back to her, "It's fine, you just scared me. I'll drop by that bar of hi-"

She interrupted me, "Sorry, but uh, we need to go now."

"Right now? Why?" June seemed to redden.

June sighed, "It's complicated. if you come with me now, I'll explain on the car ride."
