"I don't know who the man is but I think you do".

 "Why do you think I do?", Jessica , who had been quietly paying attention to Drake, finally asked.

"How you were pleading with him that he should think of all the things you did together, he might be a relative of yours or maybe if you had a boyfriend,it might be him", Drake answered

"This is insane! No one near me would try to hurt me for no reason, and as far as i'm concerned, I haven't offended anyone for them to make a hoax to attack me", Jessica sputtered, assuring him that no one had anything against her.

   But however, what she didn't know was that they were being watched this whole time, not only by officer Jacob's, but by someone who she thought won't ever harm her.

   "But Jessica, do you know that it's not everyone who laughs with you actually likes you, they might be your family or friends, but why might also be the ones eating your life up", he said with calmness even if he senses that she is becoming annoyed.

  "I know that, and you are not the one to advise me", she said then stood " if you can excuse me Mr. Lincoln, but I have work to go to tomorrow, so I must take my leave. Goodnight", she said, then stormed off without waiting for his reply.

    Drake didn't know what to do. Should he run after her to apologise for being honest or should he try to convince her much more, for he knew eyes were on her. Not wanting to waste any second, he decided he will have to apologise to her. He paid the amount of money for the food they bought then quickly ran after her.

    He spotted her at the car parking space about to open her car door when he saw the shadow reappear behind her.

   Jessica was fuming with anger when she stormed out of the restaurant. How can he say that, he didn't even know anything about her. And to her, it was just a stupid dream anyway. 

    She was still in deep thoughts that she didn't even notice that someone was behind her. Without any warning, she was caught from behind and her nose was covered with a handkerchief. Sheer panic struck her chest.

   "Jessica", Drake shouted on top of his lungs to make his voice be heard by the man but was of no use. The man pulled her into a mini van then closed it. Drake ran as fast as a lion would and he could feel the wind splashing on his face. 

   Before he could reach the minivan which was about to move, he heard a gunshot and saw Officer Jacob's running towards the van. The driver of the minivan quickly stepped on the gas then sped off without waiting for his partner. Drake ran after the van as fast as he could, completely ignoring the man who was left behind.

    He was sore and afraid and seemed to be lost of what to do as he was running when a Maclaren quickly stopped by him. "get in", officer Jacob's order. He didn't need to be told a second time as he quickly jumped into the car and they went after the van.

    He looked at the back seat and saw a man who looked unconscious even with a mask on "who is this", he asked as he stared at the man seriously.

  "Your pretty little chicks kidnapper", Officer Jacob's teased then focused on his driving. There was a pistol case beside the seat Drake sat on. He grabbed it ready to fire at the van but Officer Jacob's stopped him, "they will know we are the ones in this car", he said sternly.

   "I don't care", Drake said rolling down the glass window to fire when Officer Jacob's snatched the gun from his hand.

   "You will help me by calling your reinforcement team to track them down instead of sitting there acting like a lost jerk", Officer Jacob's yelled at him. Drake suddenly sat there motionless and shocked at how the officer just yelled at him. He was not used to people yelling at him around, in fact, he was the one who yelled at them when they did wrong because he is a CEO.

     He took his phone out and called his reinforcement team so they could track his phone to follow him where they were going. After he was done ordering, he focused on the van they were following from behind secretly. He was very worried because he doesn't know what could be happening to Jessica right now, and the worry could be seen on his face until they arrived at an old warehouse which he remembers perfectly that it was in his dream, or could he call it so.

 As soon as they got to the warehouse,Drake got out of the car then dragged the man at the backseat out.

   "You better be careful with what you do, or you might regret it later on, you understand", he threatened the man then took off the mask.

  "Look at me, and you better not play any games. Why have they taken her?"he asked while slamming him to the car.

  "Careful of him alright, I want him alive before he goes to jail.", Officer Jacob's laughed after enjoying the scene between the two for a while. While Drake was shooting daggers at the man in front of him, his reinforcement team arrived, each armed just the way they were trained to be. 

   They arranged themselves ready to attack. As much as Drake wanted to join them, they refused. They wouldn't want their boss to get hurt or have any blood stain on his attire for they knew he would interfere if they allowed him to go in with them. Within a few minutes, they were inside the warehouse exchanging bullets with their opponents….
