The Head Council Elder smiled and nodded again. Though still seated, he motioned on his left and right to welcome the new leader of Egypt but in order to prove her good governance and smarts she still needed to go through maze of battles to prove that she can overcome issues and problems that she would be facing whenever she is already crowned as the new Pharaoh.

There were council leaders that voted against her and still plotted to overthrow her reign as future Queen and Leader of Egypt.

But the Council Elders believe that Henshupta is called and chosen as Leader, Queen, Pharaoh to the land.

Henshupta thought of Nunnapura who was already a priestess in the Temple of Ra. Nunnapura, was already promised to either serve in the Egyptian Army or with the Chief Priests on the temples. Nunnapura could fight and is good in battle using spheres but she wanted to serve the gods rather than fight and kill soldiers shedding blood instead of becoming the light and guide towards Isis and AmunRa. The Egyptian Ground Forces are about 100,000 Canaanites, Nubians, Libyans and more who serve Egypt in Ramesses reign in the 1300’s. But usually would have 20,000 kept in the palace for the pharaoh’s safety and protection.

The Egyptian Forces are stronger than the Israelite soldiers but with God’s strength and power Jews were saved by Moses when Egyptians enslaved Israelites in building pyramids and temples during Ramesses and other pharaoh’s time.

Henshupta never wanted anyone to become prisoner to Egypt or any country for the matter. She is kind-hearted like her father Anhemnotep. The true reason why Anhemnotep didn’t accept the throne was his love for nature, animals and people. He is known for his heart-felt generosity and love for plants that he didn’t want to destroy lands to convert them to buildings, tombs or towers. Instead he has garden and plantations in Thebes. Memphis was the center for pharaohs’ residence and royalties lived here for centuries. Anhemnotep thought that it’s best for Henshupta to grow up in a place where it’s a safe haven for trees, flowers, wild animals alike. Henshupta appreciates the beauty and solemnity of their home than the grandeur of places in Memphis. Anhemnotep had acres of vegetation that consists of lettuces, leeks, barley, wheat, garlic and beans. He also have fruits such as pomegrate and grapes to make wine, and olives for oil. Anhemnotep made his riches from these products and his farmers sell their crops and vegetation through trade in Thebes. Anhemnotep trade his crops in exchange of, gold, linen, silver, papyrus, iron, ivory and more. Henshupta grew -up not as a typical girl in gowns or jewelries but a seedling in the tip of her fingers working alongside her dad in the farm, while training her swords and other blades with the Egyptian Ground Forces during the weekend to strengthen her body and mind.

Henshupta is popular since a favorite amongst the soldiers since she has this flair and confidence of a boy. Even though she is a girl, she can ride a horse, sword and win contests against boy soldiers. Moreover, she wins battles against veteran or experienced soldiers even at a young age of eleven. Anyone can mistake her for a boy for she moves like one and is the fastest among the trainees that time.

Henshupta is an educated, well versed, witty and smart girl. She didn’t have any problems making friends with boys her age just like with her best friend Angianasim. He is different from Henshu but he loves farming and enjoys the serenity of nature, the world. He wishes to become a ‘swnw’ or doctor in ancient Egypt. Hesy-Ra is one of the most famous doctors that ever been documented during their time. But Angianasim who wanted to be a Sekhmet (healer) comes from the royal blood line of Nefertiri and his father, Omari, is among the elders of the Egyptian Council in the courts of Pharaoh. Jardin-Ur is the trios muscle-toned friend who is about to become one of the soldiers at the Egyptian Ground Forces.

Nunnapura is always at the ground happily and secretly checking out the infantry. Jardin-Ur always sees Nunnapura peaking whenever they practice that makes him smile every time she does.

But when Henshupta who is now called “Khons” (god of the moon), fight and win against one Egyptian Ground soldier after the other, Nunnapura would look at her like she never looked beautiful as ever. She would blush and her face is as pink as the roses that blooms in Henshu’s gardens, Jardin-Ur’s mood changes and stabs his opponent stronger than the usual times in combat practice. He likes Nunnapura so much that he is willing to give her anything she wants, even his life in battle. Jardin-Ur’s father, Sadiki, is a Nubian merchant (in the ancient line of Taharqa) who trades all over Asia and one of the richest and powerful man in Egypt. Thutmose II is his father’s friend in trade that has access to all trading docks and traders, merchants all over Thebes, Memphis, Asia, and Europe including the western world.

Henshupta is now thirteen years old and she is being molded to prepare to follow the Egyptian decree thus, was also predicted to be in line for the throne since Anhemnotep declined the offer to be pharaoh though he is the sole legal royalty for the said position. After Pharaoh Thutmose IV died, young Henshupta needed to step in and assume the throne without hesitation.

During this time Thutmose IV and the previous Thutmoses’ (after Hapshetsut’s death) were feared and hated. So some of the previous pharaoh’s were murdered to pay their respects to their Female Pharoah who her memories and monuments, tombs were destroyed and erased from Egyptian History. Hapshetsut was loved by many and there were only a few council members who disliked her assuming the throne after her dad passed, thus needed to marry Thutmose I to be able to reign as Queen along his side. The council wasn’t convinced and confident in choosing her to rule Egypt since she was a woman and predicted, wouldn’t be great at leading her country. They were totally wrong, Hapshetsut was one of the greatest Noble Queen’s and Female Pharaoh’s who made Egypt great again, in the eyes of the world especially in trade and maintaining peace through-out the land, with the world.
