Transmigrated into Naruto Cast adrift after a climactic fight with his Grandfather and former Grandmaster, Aaron finds himself in the presence of an unknowable being who approaches him with a deal. Protect her champion in a tournament of the ages between four reincarnators and gain access to knowledge and means to traverse the multiverse. Desperate to return to his home world, he takes the deal but quickly finds himself out of his depths as the natives of the world prove to be just as dangerous as the reincarnators. He also quickly finds out this was not the first time the Elemental Nations had been used to host a bloody tournament between reincarnators. Powers, artifacts, and strange bloodlines abound, making the dangerous players of this world even more so. ---- The story will be based on Naruto, but I plan to include the swordsmanship and demons from demon slayer, bending from ATLA, and a few random abilities from other fiction as Kekkei Genkai, keeping in line with the tournament theme. FYI. Our protagonist is not a player, and he's not a goody-goody two shoes, but he's not a villain either.

The power system in this fic is a bit different from my other ones.

Naruto has pretty defined lines for who's strong and who isn't, and so I've sought to reduce that strength into hard numbers to give the story some consistency moving forward.

It will also help contextualize other Travelers or reincarnators and help you know where they stand in the pecking order.

Power levels

Average human: LV 1-10. 1-10 in all stats except for Chakra. Civilians can have extraordinary chakra reserves.

Academy student: LV 10-20:10-20 in all stats

Genin: LV 20-50: 20-50 in all stats.

Chunnin: LV 50-100: 50-200 in stats.

Jounin: LV 100-200: 200-1000 in stats.

Kage: LV 200-300: 1000-5000in stats.

Otsusuki: LV 300-500: 5000-infinte in stats.

If the leaps seem drastic, that's because they are.

I theorized that Genins are at least two to five times stronger than regular humans, given everything we've seen them pull off.

Punching through concrete, moving faster than the eye can track, leaping from tree to tree, etc.

A peak Chunnin should be at least four times as strong as that, and an EliteJounin should be at least five times as strong physically.

Kage starts a bit stronger than elite Jounin, but on the extreme end, we have folks like Hashirama. Making him 5x seems solid, and Otsusukis are simply beyond that.

I'm well aware that we've seen anomalies fight outside their tiers, but I thought a hard stat ceiling makes facing somebody above your rank that much more dangerous.

Plus, when we take techniques, Tailed beasts, Chakra fiends, and bloodlines into account, mathematics gets a lot blurrier.

A bloodline limit gives you an inherent advantage above someone in your tier and can even help you bat above it, as can really good jutsu and a shit ton of Chakra.
