HOW HE LIKES HIS GIRLS. BLUSHING.

Perhaps because he knew how impressive he can be and the effect he had on people, Nicholas always asked his questions with confidence. As if he didnt care if it bothered the other person or not.

And he didnt.

When Phantasy didnt reply for some time, Nicholas knocked the table to get her attention.

"Went somewhere in your mind??"

She gave his lips an quick glance before staring out the window again

"The window frame is pretty."

"I answered your question Phantasy. Do I have to compete with the window now?" he questioned shifting the menu aside.

She focused on hers more intently now as if her life depended on it. How was she to tell him that he was simply a mistake she made the other night. For a man like Nicholas such truth will surely hurt his ego.

"I wouldnt know. How do your expect me to?"

"What would you be doing if we werent together now?"

She wanted to release a sigh but knowing Nicholas, he would either frame her to be bored with him or use it as an opportunity to tease her again.

"Perhaps I would be studying." She suggested and drank the glass of water.

He watched her every action like he wanted to detect a lie.

"I would be tending to business matters."

Rolling her eyes she licked her lower lip and said. "Of course you would, Mr Billionaire."

He didnt reply and simply pressed the bell to call the waitress. She quietly went in and quietly left after she took their order.

Once again, silence engulfed the room but Nicholas didnt quit looking at her.

When she was fed up of he staring at her, she asked. "Dont you have something else to do?"

"What should that mean?" He questioned as he took a sip of his water and also licked his lower lip.

Phantasy did her best to not be distracted by him and replied. "You are staring too much at me."

"What else should I stare at?"

"The beautiful window frames or the night view perhaps." She suggested in a deadpan voice.

He smiled. A charming one again. "Too bad. They dont have blue hair and breasts."

She frowned and sat upright. "Are you sexualizing me right now?"

He cocked a brow before rubbing his temple. "Young ladies nowadays." He began as he glanced at the door as if someone would come in any moment. "You think its rude to point out that you have boobs but you dont think its rude to point out if we have abs or not. You dont even feel shameless checking us out, but you expect us to feel shameless checking you out." He relaxed into his chair and spread the napkin on his lap. She did the same even though she was distracted by his words. "Excatly what does your gender want?"

Phantasy didnt reply for a while. She let the words sink in before she spoke back. "Perhaps you need to think that it's the lot of you who sexualized us that gives us that generalised sentiment."

He didnt give her a recation and instead pretended to toy with his fingers. Since he didnt look like he planned to reply her, she also toyed with her fingers. It was almost halfway through the meal that he responded.

"Do you think that with that generalised sentiment you ladies have, if we were to have such sentiment too, the whole world would have peace?" She frowned at this. "You want us to report all the time that you girls keep checking us out and talking about the sizes of our dicks right in our faces?" Her frown turned to a blush this time and Nicholas smiled.

"We don..we dont...we dont do that." She defended.

"Speak for yourself." He corrected. "Can we just accept that we all have our differences? By the way I dont think you should be complaining now that the law is always in your favour."

She wanted to retort at this but his stare intimidated her even more so she simply gave a low hiss and continued battling with her fingers.

Nicholas shook his head and said.

"Hissing is a sign of frustration. Are you frustrated dearest blue one?"

The way he addressed her made her feel even more like a little girl who didnt know what she was doing.

"Its just annoying that your gender has the mouth to brag after eveything you do and what some stupid ones of you still plan to do to our gender."

"What have we done?"

"You have all done bad things to us. If not why would we have such thoughts about you even when we receive a compliment?"

"Why do you generalise us? Have I done anything bad to you? Has a man done anything bad to you Phantasy? Be specific."

She kept quiet and saw his point. She should not have generalised them and be specific instead.

"But you agree that some men are dicks right?"

He placed the sauce down without making a sound. "Pardon?"

Thinking that he really didn't hear what she said, she repeated. "I said you do agree that some men are dicks right?"

"Little blue, all men are dicks." He replied

"Stay in one place."

"What?"

"Whose side are you on? Male or female?"

"I am sitting on the fence darling. I dont take sides." He raised his cup of lemon water to her and she rolls her eyes again.

Such an arrogant man.

Nicholas gave her a side glance evey second and noticed that she looked anxious.

Phantasy arrived earlier than he expected tonight and he found it silly because she still looked nervous. Not that he minded or that it bothered him but he expected her to have composed herself before coming over. Besides they had seen each other in the nude. Maybe not in clear light, but they have felt each other.

Was this a girls thing? To still feel shy and nervous?

He liked it though. It gave him the chance to see the slight blush stained on her cheeks.

dont know how to promote my book so.....-_-
