I'm looking at these weird stats, and it's got me all puzzled. In my past life, I had a system, but it wasn't anything like this one. That one had a whole bunch of fancy interfaces, while this one seems simpler.

I see... this system seems different from the one I had before. This one feels more like an AI with human thoughts, not some fairy locked inside a system.

System, I have one last question. You mentioned that this system was designed to bring balance between those who are awakened and mages. But in my case, I can use magic. Is there a connection between that and the errors in my stats? And what's with those 'null' figures in my stats?

I look up to see two hooded men standing before me. As our eyes meet, they bow deeply.

That's the first thing I notice when I raise my head, causing my body to jolt. If I were an ordinary kid, I'd probably be terrified right now, facing such a sight.

These two men have the scent of elves, yet they're not quite elves. Their skin appears desiccated and muscular, while their glowing blue eyes render them extremely intimidating, even to adults.

[Description: Two of the five ancient Elf Guardians who attained immortality. While weakened and unfit for protecting the Elves from invasion, they oversee the awakening ceremony. Their power should not be underestimated.]

"We didn't mean to startle you," one of the guardians says upon witnessing my reaction.

After using the inspect function and learning about these enigmatic individuals before me, I also bow in respect.

"This humble one greets the ancient ones."

"Hoho, now this is interesting! Quite extraordinary!" exclaims the second guardian, revealing his barely visible teeth.

"It's the first time a child has seen us without fleeing in terror. You're different, kid. I can sense the energy emanating from you. You were the cause of that phenomenon earlier," the first guardian states, extending his palm as if checking something.

[Memory reading magic detected. Would the master like to resist it?]

Huh... So, this man is attempting to use mind-reading magic on me. Fufu, such disrespect toward an ancient vampire like myself.

System, reveal to him ten percent of the horrors, atrocities, and bloodshed I've unleashed. Show him a fragment of my power... fufufu.

[Affirmative, master.]

Suddenly, the guardian freezes, his eyes turning red as his head starts twitching rapidly, as if glitching. Simultaneously, his body trembles, and his withered muscles seem to age even further.

"ARGH!!" the guardian bellows, stumbling backward before being caught by his companion.

The second guardian places his hand on his comrade's head and begins chanting spells.

"He..." the first guardian mumbles, gazing at me with horror.

Contrary to my expectations, however, the second guardian waves his hand, and in the blink of an eye, the first guardian vanishes into thin air.

The second guardian rises and bows deeply, clasping his hands together.

"I apologize for my comrade's disrespectful attempt to probe your memories. To make amends for our mistake, accept this small token. With it, you can summon the guardians anywhere, although it can only be used once," he says, offering me a dark, rusted medallion adorned with the head of a Phoenix.

I place the medallion into my space ring, and a white flash surrounds me. Next thing I know, I find myself standing in front of the hall, leaving me wide-eyed.

It's not the hall that surprises me; rather, it's the sight of all the other participants outside, beaming with joy alongside their loved ones. Judging by their reactions, they've all awakened completely.

But... what the heck? I was the first person to awaken. Did I waste so much time dealing with those dreadful beings?

"Alex..."

A familiar voice calls out from behind me.
