CHAPTER 9

"so what do you think about Mr. Taylor? Are you by any chance having feelings on him?" - Kiana

"it's too early to say. And I'm not really sure why he's too helpful to me. Why he's willing to go against his sister and niece just for me." - Esther

"well, we never know he might like you. And he took this opportunity to be near you. or ..." - Kiana

"or what?" Esther

"well, maybe he is also using you to get back or get even with her sister." - Kiana

"don't make any assumptions without proof. Let's not put mallice on his goodness." - Esther

Ashton knocks on the door to made them know if his presence. He heard everything outside. He knows that Esther is just using him to get even but Ashton had a different plan.

His plan is to make her as his wife.

"hey, you're here" Esther

He sit beside her, while Kiana leave the room.

"how are you feeling?" Ashton

"better, Thank you for coming to my rescue" Esther

"anytime. I already called the best Dermatologist to check your wounds and see if it'll leave a scar and what to do." Ashton

Esther smiled at him.

"get some rest, don't think of work for now. I know you're moving supposed to be in the next 2 days. I'll help you move out, and I suggest you stay near me." Ashton

"it's fine. Your villa is too far and I don't want to make any news for now." Esther

"I understand, but if you want my unit, no one is living there. You can stay there if you want." Ashton

Esther smile at him.

"your unit and my new unit is just on the same building so it's fine. And besides I can manage still to live on my own." Esther

Ashton just give up on this topic, instead he talked to Esther about his plan on Carlson's company. And it is also known that Esther is one of the biggest shareholder since she is open in helping Carlson financially before.

"your father agree on my plan when I called him. Now, the news and this plan will proceed with your permission of course." Ashton

Esther took a deep breath. She knew how hard Carlson work for him to build his own company. How dedicated he is that for 2 years they had a fight over having time for each other and almost break up.

But she knew that because of the scandal his sales were keep on declining. And in due time it'll kill him and his company. Ashton's plan is not bad at all.

Carlson's reputation is not bad at all. Many clients were able to trust him still. But there were some projects that were created under the table and that could destroy his credibility. Which Esther was able to cover up before.

"I agree on your plan in acquiring the company. But can we not release any news about him hurting me. Let that be a warning on what he did. Let's just at least make him work and still gain the trust of some of his clients. I know Carlson is wrong about some things but he's a talented person. " Esther

Ashton understand what she mean do he texted Amber not release any news related to Carlson. Instead she released a news about Esther's recovery.

"Oh by the way, Kiana already sent my schedule for the whole year. Next month I'll be filming overseas. Is that going to be conflict on any job that you'll give me?" Esther

"oh no, by next week we will have some picturial so that we can use it in all of our products, store and advertisment. Since your face represents A.T Group" Ashton

"I see, I'll make sure to do my best and not let you down." Esther

"I know you won't but for now, I want you to rest carefully and focus on yourself. I'll have Lark sent the details to Kiana so that your team can prepare in advance." Ashton

Esther hold his hands

"I don't know why you are doing this to me. But I thank you for your help." Esther

"anytime." Ashton

"what? Uncle Ash is going to buy your company? so what's gonna happen to you now?" Anne

"well, it'll fall that I am just an employee of him." Carlson

"why? is that even possible. You build that company" Anne

"to be honest most of it's share is from the Smith's so basically their money built my company" Carlson

"but it was your talent that keep it growing. Don't you think?" Anne

Carlson did not respond, he knew that his best chance is to accept Ashton's offer to keep his company running.

Anne was upset by this idea and decide to go to the hospital to visit Esther.

Esther was busy scrolling on her cellphone, reading some emails from work as well as checking her script for her next shooting when Anne came.

"you look just fine" Anne

Esther didn't mind her, she just continue on reading her emails.

"I guess you can't continue filming with your next project. I mean look at you, wounded, scars, sick here in the hospital. Director Chen would be worried about his film" Anne

"why? do you plan to get it from me again. Oh I forgot you are always the second option if the production team could not cast me. How did Director Cole said it... oh! we have no choice but to go with Anne Brown" Esther

Anne was obviously upset on what Esther mentioned. It's true that if Esther will not accept any job they will find another candidate for it. But if no one will really accept it they don't have a choice but to chose Anne.

There's this big project where Esther was not able to take it since she's filming 2 movies and 1 series at the same time and she no longer had the capablity to take another project. So the production team went to another actress, Chloe Dela Torre, but she's also busy filming a variety show overseas. And they went to another actress to another until they don't have a choice but to get Anne.

The movie was not successful, since Anne's acting is not really as top as others. She was just in the industry because she's a Taylor afterall. Without the help of her parents, tickets won't be sold.

The news will be sold out tickets but only few are watching, because her parents will buy all the seats that were not bought every schedule.

"shut that mouth of your Esther, I am here to remind you that I will make sure you will never make it to the television again." Anne

She then walk out of her room, while Esther just ignore her.
