CHAPTER 4

Esther was on her way home to her parents because they called her due the news that breaks down.

Kiana was reading some comments and she saw a comments stating

'i guess Carlson cheated on her, i've been working in a hotel for 4 years now. And since last year Carlson is keep on coming back once a month in our hotel alone but it's just odd that there's a model and actress at the same time who'll arrive at the same day with him but different time. And you know what's intriguing, she never booked for a room. She went straight to the elevator like she knows which room she'll be having. Hmmmm sounds suspish'

"so He's been cheating on you for a year now???" - Kiana

Esther did not say anything ...

"you're still nice by saying differences on the reason of your break up. Why not say that he cheated on you." - Kiana

"Just let it be. I have a plan" - Esther

When they arrived at their home, Esther was greeted by her mom

"are you okay? Is there something wrong?" - Mrs. Smith

"i'm good Mom, nothing to worry about." - Esther

She looked at her father who's face is glued to the newspaper.

"dad, i'm back" - Esther

"hmmm" - Mr. Smith

Then later on their maid called them for dinner.

"so tell me, why you and Carlson suddenly broke up?" - Mr. Smith

"Dad it's a long story. Things were no longer doing well between us. And I guess it's time to let it go." - Esther

"what did Carlson say when you broke up with him" - Mrs. Smith

"well, he agreed to it. There's no more things to discuss anyway." - Esther

"what's your plan now?" - Mr. Smith

"focus on my career first." Esther

Nobody talks after then, after dinner Esther bids goodbye and went home. She needs to prepare for the Red Carpet Event for the Charity Program tomorrow night. Most of the well-known actors and actresses joins this event as they have given some amount of money to Children's Charity.

"The announcement for the Charity event is quite a buzz this time. People are waiting who would be your pair this up coming red carpet " - Kiana

"I'm going solo." - Esther

She then send a message to Ashton

Esther: 'you want me to use you right? Then there's one thing I want you to do. I have a plan, and whatever comes out do not do anything to cover it up'

Ashton: 'sure'

She then smile a little, she plans on doing something that night.

THE NEXT DAY

"Are you sure about that plan? I'll inform Brian to cover the issue to avoid any biases as people know were good friends" - Amber

"yes I am sure. Just make sure that the story is eye catching. I am pretty sure a lot will come out." - Esther

Amber sat beside her

"Actually, Esther after the news broke down Brian came to me with a files. He did not show it to me before or create any stories about it as he said he respects me and he looks highly of you. But later that day he showed me photos of Carlson and Anne dating. Some were kissing, a-" Amber

"then tell Brian to used those pictures for his story for tomorrow." - Esther

Amber knew that Esther really felt betrayed by what Carlson did. So she just nod and send a message to Brian .

Esther is doing her make up for tonight's event. She want others to see that she looks okay and happy still.

After a few hours she went to the event.

As she walks to the red carpet multiple flash of cameras were facing her. She keep her head high, smile and wave at them. As she reached the end of the red carpet, Anne was seen just went out from her car with a man with her.

Esther gave a quick smile as she knew it will be Carlson. And yes, it's Carlson. Everyone in the crowd were murmuring but still continue in taking pictures.

Esther went inside the event and did not mind them.

"Hey, Anne Brown came with Carlson Young" - Girl 1

"isn't it Esther and Carlson just broke up?" - Girl 2

"is it a third party after all, and the most shocking it's Anne Brown, the niece of the well-known Ashton Taylor " - Girl 3

"well, her uncle is going to cover up or protect her in any way" - Girl 1

Esther did not mind the gossips around her, she went straight to her table stand and sip her wine.

After a few minutes Anne greeted her

"hey Esther, I never knew you'd come tonight" - Anne

Esther smiles at her

"why not" - Esther

"well, you look ... (paused and look at her from head to toe) ... just fine" - Anne

Esther did not respond but just gave her a smile. Suddenly people were murmuring as they look in their phones and look at Anne.

Anne was confused on what's happening. But Esther looks calm as she might have an Idea of what is going on.

Then Anne's phone buzzed

ANNE BROWN, MISTRESS OF CARLSON YOUNG FOR A YEAR

It seems like the reason of Carlson Young and Esther Smith's break up was because of a third party. And the person behind it was the famous Anne Brown.

They were seen couple of times together in a beach at the different city. Last Christmas, several photos of them were taken in Japan.

Well it seems like Anne Brown is not as innocent as we think she is

"what's going on?" - Carlson ask as he ran towards Anne

Esther, acts like she's shocked about the news.

"wow, a year?" - Esther

"Let's go .." - Anne

As they left the event a lot of reporters were trying to get there comments about the latest news. But they rush over to her car right away

Esther just smile, as she thought
