"You idiot!" Chris murmured when he felt a chill run down his spine. Evan gulped and he turned around to meet Noah's cold and lifeless eyes.
"Get out!" He yelled and they both had no choice but to leave.
Noah massaged his temple and he closed his eyes. His head was aching but his heart hurt more.
The same image came up over and over again every time he closed his eyes. "Damn you." He cursed her name in his heart consistently.
"It was you all along? I had you right under my nose and yet I did not see you.' He thought. He had searched everywhere. He had looked at all the parts of the world. He had used all the power in his hands to look for her but it turns out she was right next to him all along. The designer he had heard about so much.
The designer will work with his company on a project.
That designer. That face. That name. That damn heartless cold stupid woman!
He continued to curse her in his heart but he had no energy to mutter a single word. He laid back down on the bed with an arm over his forehead covering his eyes from the blurry light in the ceiling. His sight became blurrier as the tears fell from his ocean blue eyes that had lost their brightness.
His handsome face actually had tears running down the side of his cheeks.
Tears? I'm actually crying? All for that stupid heartless stupid cold woman?
He continued to curse her over and over again but he ended up finding it funny. He even laughed for a minute or two. He was laughing and crying and cursing her name in his heart? All of that? Just because he saw her face on the news….
Such an effect she has in a cold and emotionless man like him. He felt like a fool.
Seven years! Seven freaking years and he still can't move on! Just how deep did she dig into his heart?
No.
Not how deep she dug, this woman swallowed his heart, whole as if it were lunch. She took it all away and she kept it for herself. 'Selfish stupid cold heartless woman!' He continued.
How many years and nothing has changed. Despite all his efforts, she is still affecting him. "It's hopeless. Don't be an idiot." He reminded himself.
Yes, she might be back but she won't look for him. She won't say that she loves and she will definitely not want to be with him ever again. Since that day they turned into enemies and it's impossible to be together again.
Stop being delusional Noah.
Stop it.
She hurt you. She betrayed you and she left you!
*A/N: Spill the tea Noah 🍵 👀
But if I get close to her? What if I'm the one to pull her back to by side and chain her around me?
No.
'She's stubborn. She will never give in to you. She hates you.' He thought.
Stupid cold heartless stubborn selfish greedy woman!
He rose from his bed and he walked inside his bathroom. After a shower, he got dressed up and came out of the room to his office.
He took a few minutes to himself to calm down. After taking some painkillers for his headache he took a deep breath in and regained his composure.
He watched the news with his arms crossed. He glared at her face. 'So did she fake her death all along? What's the purpose of coming back then? She should just stay away from me.'
"You dare come back, then don't blame me if I decide to keep by my side forever. Adriana you don't want to know what I'm capable of doing."
He gritted his teeth in anger and turned off the tv. He glanced at the pieces if glass on the floor and his lips twitched.
How dare she! The guts she has! The bravery!

A few hours later,
Adriana covered her face with a pair of shades as she exited the airport. Her flight arrived an hour earlier and it was already 5 pm in the afternoon. It had also been around 6 hours since the news was released.
She hoped that Noah had already seen them so that he could at least be prepared to face her. What she had not thought about carefully is what she would do or say in front of him.
The reporters were all over her face asking questions and taking pictures. Ralf did his best to escort her out but there were just too many curious reporters and even fans around them.
Adriana gritted her teeth. 'So annoying!'
She took off her shades and faced the camera directly. "Please take the pictures quickly, and I won't be answering any questions. I have somewhere urgent to be." She sent them a chilly stare hoping that would silent them.
They were all quiet just gazing at her.
"Wow, beautiful!"
Their stunned faces didn't last and they continued to their previous behavior.
"JUSTINE will you hold a press conference-"
"Tsk~" Adriana placed her shades back on. "Excuse Me I really have somewhere to be right now. I will hold an interview soon please be patient." She sighed and looked straight at the camera that was recording live.
"I will also hold an investigation and press charges against the people who leaked my photos. If you all don't want to join them please take a step back. I apologize to my fans but for now, I have no other comments on the situation." She said this and entered the car and prepared her.
"Ma'am, shall we go to your hotel?" Ralf asked. "No, we are going to get Aria. The address is the one I told you about." Adriana took a deep breath.
"Right away."
….
Looking at her mom on the tv screen Aria sniffed. She couldn't believe that her mother's picture got exposed while she tried to bring her home.
Now she felt even more guilty.
"What's wrong?" Angel asked. "Nothing, I'm just missing my mommy!" Aria smiled.
"Hmm don't worry she said she would be here around this time. Noah is already on his way here." He assured her.
Aria nodded and sat down on the sofa where snacks were prepared for her. Angel watched over her calmly.
He would sometimes stare at the tv and his face would go blank. 'I wonder how Noah is taking this in….'
After all, the news have been everywhere.
He wasn't very shocked, to be honest. 'I knew she wouldn't die easily.'
On the other hand, Noah was in the back seat and Chris was driving him and Kelvin to his house.
The car ride was silent. No one dared to make a sound. A few minutes later they arrived home but no one came out before Noah.
They could tell he had something to say.
"We will continue with our lives as we have for the past seven years. Nothing will change." He reminded them and came out of the car.
