Seril hovered just at arm's length of Emmia as she walked slowly. A day had passed very quickly with all the tests that Emmia had to take. In the end, the results all pointed to that Emmia was fine and could leave when she wanted.

And that time was immediately much to Seril's worry.

"You could've stayed for at least one more day," Seril repeated for the nth time.

"I'm fine Seril," Emmia resisted rolling her eyes at Seril. It was the 34th time that she had Seril say that same phrase or something very similar and it was starting to drive her crazy.

Emmia wobbled, her legs still feeling like jelly after laying down for so long.

Seril hurriedly took a half step closer and extended her arms to catch Emmia in case she fell.

The only reason that Seril hadn't carried Emmia from the taxi into their house was Emmia's insistence on walking the distance.

Pausing, Emmia waited to regain stability, her muscles straining just to stand upright.

'Arghh, so weak...' Emmia commented to herself.

'If I could just make them flex....' Emmia thought as she tried flexing them to draw the maximum strength that she could from them. Acting according to her will, Emmia's calves bunched up and strength returned to her legs.

A bead of sweat formed on Emmia's forehead as she thought, 'I won't be able to hold them like this for long.'

Moving past Seril's outstretched arms, Emmia headed straight for the door. Taking long strides that didn't suit a 2-week-old coma patient, she reached the door in a few steps.

Seril's eyes widened in surprise as she saw her sister.

'She got stronger?' Seril thought confused by the drastic shift from hobbling to striding.

The next second, she snapped back from her thoughts as she saw Emmia look at her motioning towards the door with terribly trembling legs.

Hurrying, Seril unlocked the door and caught Emmia just in time before she fell.

After that exertion, Emmia's legs were burning in pain.

"Ssssseeeh," Emmia sucked in a breath while hugging Seril for support.

"I knew I should've just carried you here," Seril muttered under her breath just loud enough for Emmia to hear.

"Seril-" Emmia started to say.

"Mia just let me help now," Seril cut off her sister. Grabbing her, Seril swung Emmia into a princess carry and hefted her inside the house.

Emmia just stayed silent, not that she had many options, her legs were turned to jelly at this point. Burning jelly.

"You're still so light," Seril commented and laid Emmia on the couch.

"I have a good metabolism," Emmia countered.

"You don't eat," Seril shot back.

"I eat enough."

"When I was your age, I ate at least triple of what you eat."

"And how you turned out like that I still can't comprehend," Emmia huffed with a certain edge to her voice.

"Was that envy dear sister?" Seril gave an amused smile.

Emmia glanced at Seril's body and rolled her eyes.

"You've gone delusional."

"Heh."

"Hey, I told you it's not like that."

"Yes, yes, I believe you." Seril said in a tone that screamed, 'Your lying and I know it.'

Emmia growled in frustration and turned to face the couch cushion.

"Alright, alright, I'll prepare dinner," Seril failed to keep the chuckle out of her voice.

Emmia just snorted her agreement.

As Seril went to prepare dinner, Emmia took a look at her own body.

She looked like a thin effeminate boy.

'With shoulder length hair....' Emmia frowned at her observations.

Patting her chest, Emmia felt a pang of panic.

'Will they grow? I mean this is the age.....'

'Maybe I should grow out my hair,' Emmia sighed as she readjusted her glasses.

---------------

After taking Emmia to her room, Seril made her way back down to the living room.

Heading to her desk, and yes Seril did have a desk, an object whose existence Emmia didn't believe to be true.

'Seril is that a desk?' Emmia had asked.

'Yes.' Seril had replied curtly while typing on her laptop while sitting on the couch.

'I would've never guessed. You know with the fact that your work seat is the couch,' Emmia had grinned at her while she had tried to give her sister what she thought was a 'withering look'. The result may have been different from what she had intended considering that Emmia had burst out into laughter after that point. And soon after Seril had followed too.

Shaking herself from the memories, Seril found herself smiling unconsciously.

Massaging the smile from her face was a harder job than she thought as she was still doing so when she found what she was looking for.

Taking out the medallion from the drawer, Seril pushed her universal energy into it, activating it.

Universal energy gathered up around the house, forming a barrier.

Slipping the medallion into her pocket, Seril headed out.

Glancing back at the house, more specifically Emmia's room, Seril leaped into the darkness.

'I'll start with that hospital.' Seril's crimson-red eyes gleamed dangerously as she sped through the streets.

----------------

A lone figure plodded through the forests. It was the Great Boan Forest to be exact, and the cloaked figure was not exactly having the best time at that moment.

Pulling the hood of the cloak further down, the figure rubbed his hands to warm himself from the cold and biting winds.

'Where the hell am I even supposed to start.' The figure thought angrily.

Scanning his cone of vision, the figure moved on to the next area.

He was repeating this when he felt a sudden chill shoot through him.

Shooting back, the figure avoided a creature barrelling towards him at an extreme speed. Slamming into a tree, the tree tore in half like tissue paper and was sent flying toward other trees. The commotion caused the surrounding animals to turn tail and flee.

Glancing at the creature, the figure thought, 'Shit.'

There standing what little moonlight that there was, was a deer-like creature with glowing antlers. The antlers were glowing with dreadful power as the creature shook its head to clear itself after the crash.

With bloodshot eyes, the deer launched itself at the cloaked man once more.

This time, sidestepping past the deer, the man felt his cloak tear as the creature barreled past him.

'How should I deal with this?' The man fell into thought as he continued to dodge the creature.

Suddenly, just as he was sidestepping, a voice rang out in his head that made him falter.

'No 6, what is the status?'

'Fuck.' No 6 cursed as he found himself directly in the path of the creature's charge.

Activating his gift, No 6 still found himself flying in the air. Crashing into a tree, No 6 slid to the ground with a crunch as blood gushed out of his wounds.

"No 2, you can't just call me like that out of nowhere," No 6 complained angrily.

Picking himself up, the large cuts on his chest spit out more blood as he flexed his body.

'What is the status.' No 2 repeated.

The words, 'I nearly died you know?' died on No 6's lips as he sighed deeply.

"Still looking for her. She's really tricky you know," No 6 reported while examining the still creature in front of him. The creature had frozen in front of him, like a deer in headlights, it stood there blankly, letting No 6 move around it.

'Keep looking. Have you picked up any clues?'

"Oh, I think I found one," No 6 said with a small smile on his face. Reflected in his eyes was a small glowing blue key plunged into the base of the neck of the deer-like creature.

I wonder what Seril is up to? Anyways, I hope you enjoyed~
