Hikari was walking with Yami and Luke. "So why did we spare The Cyclops's, it would have been better to kill them, they will just complain to there father Poseidon"
Likemloomed at him and spoke. "Did we tell them out name, liket that of Odyeeus"
Hikari glanced at Luke, a smirk playing on his lips. "No, we didn't pull an Odysseus and tell them our names, so I doubt they have anything concrete to complain about. They're just going to be another trio of embarrassed Cyclops grumbling in the underworld."
Yami, still a bit uneasy from the encounter, looked over at Hikari. "But what if they do find a way to come after us? I mean, these monsters don't exactly follow the same rules as we do."
Hikari shrugged, his confidence unwavering. "Even if they do, they'll be blind for a while, and by the time they recover, we'll be long gone. Plus, killing them would only attract more attention. Better to leave them humiliated and alive."
Luke nodded in agreement. "Monsters respawn anyway. Killing them now would just make them come back angrier. Let them lick their wounds for now. Poseidon has bigger problems than his Cyclops children getting embarrassed by a few demigods."
Yami sighed, still looking worried but trusting Hikari's judgment. "I guess that makes sense."
As they continued walking, Hikari couldn't help but chuckle to himself. "Besides, I'm sure they'll think twice before underestimating a 'child of Aphrodite' next time."
Luke smirked. "I think they'll be too scared to even think about it."
Hikari paused, glancing at Yami with a puzzled expression. "What do you mean, 'no'? I need to find the forge."
Yami shook his head vehemently. "No more tech! We just dealt with Cyclopes because of it. If there's any monster out here, they can track you through that thing."
Hikari sighed, realizing Yami had a point. "Fine, I'll put it away. But we still need a plan." He looked around the bustling streets of Boston, trying to get a feel for the city. "We can ask locals for directions. Someone has to know where a famous forge is."
Luke nodded, glancing around for any signs of potential informants. "Let's split up. Yami and I can check out the nearby shops while you ask around here. Just keep it low-key. We don't want to attract any unwanted attention."
Hikari agreed, feeling a sense of determination. "Alright. We meet back here in an hour. If you find anything, make sure it doesn't involve mentioning my name or what we're looking for."
As they split off, Hikari scanned the area, thinking about how Hephaestus's chains could help them on their quest. He wandered into a nearby café, hoping to overhear something useful.
Sitting down, he ordered a drink and listened in on conversations. A few minutes passed when he caught a mention of an old industrial district where a famous blacksmith worked, a place where ancient myths and modernity intertwined.
"Just up the road," the barista said to a customer. "You'll find the Forge of Hephaestus there. It's not the same as it used to be, but it still has some relics from the old days."
Hikari's heart raced at the mention. He discreetly pulled out his notepad, jotting down the information, careful to blend in. As he finished his drink, he realized this could be the lead they were looking for.
Once outside, Hikari glanced at his watch, counting the minutes until he was supposed to meet back up with Yami and Luke. He couldn't wait to share what he learned, hoping it would propel them closer to their goal.
Hikari stopped and looked at Barista. "Your not human are you"
The Barista looked at him and chuckled. "You a smart little Demi God, is your mother Athena, no you don't have the Storm gray eyes".
Hikari paused, glancing at Yami with a puzzled expression. "What do you mean, 'no'? I need to find the forge."
Yami shook his head vehemently. "No more tech! We just dealt with Cyclopes because of it. If there's any monster out here, they can track you through that thing."

Once outside, Hikari glanced at his watch, counting the minutes until he was supposed to meet back up with Yami and Luke. He couldn't wait to share what he learned, hoping it would propel them closer to their goal.
The group arrived to the old Industrial district, they saw that there eas noting until they dispel the mist as they saw a giant bronze gate, as they saw hole in what can only be described as Smart dum move he activated his fire power and blast it, and somehow it didn't kill them as it open, they walked, as they looked around thr forge as then they moved out of the way as they saw a giant Atomoton with Multiple arms and Holding multiple sword
Hikari touched his watch. "Smoke bomb won't work, full transformation"
as he pressed his suit his fully formed, as an exco skeleton coverd his body, as then a breath makes that coved his lower side of face they looks like that of a wolf Muggle as it even looked like it had Sharp teeth, the exco skeleton in his arm pulls out more metal parts, as it becomes a gauntlet that has spikes on knuckles, as his 10 fingers finger now has claws, as then he makes a fist as like wolverine, Blade's comes our, then four more amrs, as he breath mist came out of the mask, the exco skeleton in his leg fully, but then two more robotic amrs came out with the 4 other looking the same
Hikari looked at the new ones. "Will does two arms are new"
Luke pulled out his sword. "Let's do this"
Yami pulled is coin as it transformed into his Scythe. "let's do this, and I can finally see what powers form my Mothee Eric's I got".
As the group prepared for battle, the massive automaton loomed over them, its multiple arms clanking ominously as it adjusted its stance. Hikari felt the adrenaline coursing through his veins as he activated the full capabilities of his suit, the exoskeleton fitting snugly around him, enhancing his strength and agility.
"Stay focused!" Hikari shouted, raising his claws in readiness. "We need to find a way to disable it without getting overwhelmed."
The automaton's eyes glowed red, and it let out a mechanical roar, swinging its swords with surprising speed. Hikari instinctively rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding the blade that sliced through the air where he had just been standing.
Luke charged forward, his sword gleaming in the dim light of the forge. "I'll draw its attention! Yami, Hikari, find a way to flank it!"
Yami nodded, gripping his scythe tightly. "Let's do this!"
With a swift movement, Luke launched himself at the automaton, his blade aimed directly at one of its many arms. The automaton retaliated, swinging a sword down in an attempt to cleave him in two, but Luke deftly dodged and slashed at the joint of the arm instead. Sparks flew as metal clanged against metal, but the automaton didn't seem phased.
"Great, it's tougher than it looks!" Luke yelled back, determination etched on his face.
Meanwhile, Hikari and Yami darted around the perimeter of the forge, trying to find an opening. Hikari's suit enhanced his speed, and he felt the power of the exoskeleton coursing through him. He glanced at Yami, who was equally focused, his scythe glimmering ominously.
"We can't keep this up!" Hikari called out, scanning the automaton for any weak points. "We need to disrupt its power source!"
Yami nodded, understanding Hikari's plan. "I'll distract it! You find a way to get behind it!"
With that, Yami charged in, using his scythe to create a whirlwind of motion around the automaton, trying to confuse it. "Hey, metal head! Over here!"
As the automaton turned its attention to Yami, Hikari seized the moment. He dashed around the automaton's back, looking for any exposed wiring or components. "Come on, come on…" he muttered, scanning for weaknesses.
Finally, he spotted a panel on the automaton's back that seemed less armored than the rest. "There!" he shouted, preparing to strike.
Just as he moved in, the automaton suddenly twisted, its eyes locking onto Hikari. "Threat detected," it boomed in a mechanical voice, swinging an arm toward him.
Hikari barely had time to react. He jumped back, but not before one of the automaton's swords grazed his side, the impact jarring him. He gritted his teeth, feeling the sting but pushing the pain aside. "I can't let it get the best of me!"
"Hey, Hikari!" Luke shouted from the front line. "You need to create an opening! I can't hold it much longer!"
Hikari took a deep breath, activating the offensive capabilities of his exoskeleton. "Alright, let's turn up the heat!"
He raised his arm, channeling the energy from his suit into a concentrated blast. A surge of fire erupted from his gauntlet, shooting toward the automaton. The flames engulfed its torso, causing it to stagger back. Hikari could see smoke rising from the scorched metal.
"Now, Yami! Strike!" Hikari shouted.
Yami wasted no time. He leaped into the air, his scythe raised high. With a powerful swing, he brought the blade down toward the exposed panel on the automaton's back. The impact echoed through the forge, and sparks erupted as the scythe sliced through metal.
The automaton let out a deafening screech as it began to falter, its movements becoming erratic. "Power… failing…" it stuttered.
Luke took advantage of the automaton's distraction and lunged forward, thrusting his sword deep into one of its arms, severing the limb completely. "Let's finish this!"
With the automaton weakening, Hikari and Yami coordinated their attacks. Hikari delivered a series of swift punches with his clawed gauntlet, each strike hitting the weakened spots Yami had exposed. The automaton staggered, its mechanical whirring growing quieter.
Finally, with one last effort, Yami plunged his scythe into the automaton's core. "This is for all the demigods you've messed with!" he yelled, as the blade connected.
The automaton shuddered violently, lights flickering before it collapsed to the ground in a heap of metal and smoke. Silence fell over the forge as the group stood panting, adrenaline still pumping through their veins.
Hikari pulled off his helmet, looking at his friends. "Did we really just do that?"
Luke grinned, wiping sweat from his forehead. "Yeah, and we make a pretty good team."
Yami nodded, inspecting the automaton's remains. "Now, let's see if we can find those chains before anything else shows up."
With renewed determination, the trio moved deeper into the forge, searching for the chains of Hephaestus and bracing for whatever else lay ahead.
Hikari then grabbed a sword from the Atomoton. "Here you go"
As he touched a sword to luke, Luke gave him a grinn, as then they saw more Atomoton, and this time Luke went crazy, as he started to attack and destroy, as Hikari then pressed the button his mask, it split to four parts, as it he screamed as the sound wave was sent and destroyed a few of the Atomoton as well.
Hikari grabbed his throat. "Oh fuck, but looks these are weak, time to rip"
Yami just looked at both of his friend. "You both are insane"
A few minutes later, both Luke and Hikari were seatinf on a pile of Atomoton, as Yami just looked at both of them
As Hikari and Luke sat atop the pile of defeated automatons, catching their breath, Yami couldn't help but shake his head in disbelief.
"You two are completely insane," Yami said, crossing his arms. "I mean, what were you thinking? Charging in like that? You could have gotten yourselves seriously hurt!"
Hikari laughed, wiping the sweat from his brow. "But we didn't! Besides, did you see how many we took down? That was epic!"
Luke grinned, still holding the sword he had claimed from one of the fallen automatons. "Yeah, and that sound wave thing you did? That was awesome! You really need to teach me how to do that."
Hikari shrugged, still feeling the rush of battle. "It's just a feature of the suit. I have to be careful with it, though. The recoil can be intense." He glanced down at his hands, still tingling from the energy that had surged through him during the fight.
"Let's focus," Yami interjected, trying to keep them on track. "We still need to find those chains. We can't let all this go to waste."
"You're right," Hikari said, hopping off the pile of scraps. "We need to search this place and see if we can locate the forge."
They began to move deeper into the dimly lit forge, the clanking of their footsteps echoing off the metallic surfaces. The air was thick with the smell of burnt metal and oil, and the dim lights flickered above them.
As they walked, Hikari kept scanning the area for any signs of what they were looking for. "There has to be some kind of marking or symbol that indicates where Hephaestus would keep his chains," he muttered.
Suddenly, Yami stopped in his tracks, his eyes widening. "Look!" He pointed to a large, ornate door at the end of the hallway, embellished with intricate designs of flames and hammers—the unmistakable insignia of Hephaestus.
"That's got to be it!" Luke exclaimed, rushing forward. "Let's see if we can get it open."
Hikari followed closely, his heart racing with anticipation. They reached the door, which was massive and made of a dark, heavy metal. Hikari examined the surface, running his fingers over the engravings. "It looks like there's some kind of lock mechanism here," he said, squinting to get a better look.
Yami stepped back, gripping his scythe. "What do we do? Do we force it open?"
Before Hikari could respond, the door creaked ominously. The lock clicked, and to their astonishment, it slowly swung open, revealing a dimly lit chamber filled with glowing chains hanging from the walls and a large pedestal in the center.
"Whoa…" Luke breathed, stepping inside. "These must be the Chains of Hephaestus!"
Hikari stepped into the room, his eyes widening at the sight. "It's beautiful," he whispered, taking in the intricate designs woven into the chains. "But we need to be careful. This could be a trap."
Yami nodded, scanning the room for any signs of danger. "Let's take the chains and get out of here before more automatons show up."
They approached the pedestal, carefully lifting the chains one by one. Hikari couldn't help but marvel at the craftsmanship—each link seemed to shimmer with a life of its own, radiating heat and power.
As they gathered the chains, the ground suddenly shook. Dust fell from the ceiling, and the air was filled with the sound of grinding metal.
"Not good!" Luke shouted, his grip tightening around his sword. "We need to hurry!"
Hikari grabbed the last chain and turned to Yami. "Let's go, now!"
They bolted from the chamber, the sound of the approaching automatons echoing behind them. As they raced through the forge, Hikari felt a surge of determination. They couldn't let anything stop them now.
Bursting out of the forge, they found themselves back in the industrial district, panting heavily. Hikari looked back at the forge, now alive with the clattering of metal as more automatons poured out.
"Go, go, go!" he urged, leading the way as they sprinted down the street, the chains clanking at their sides.
Just as they turned a corner, a massive automaton appeared in front of them, its eyes glowing ominously.
Hikari glanced at his friends, determination flashing in his eyes. "Looks like we're not done yet. Let's take this one down together!"
Yami gripped his scythe tighter. "I'm ready. Let's finish this!"
And with that, the trio charged into battle once more, adrenaline fueling their resolve as they faced the threat head-on.
