Luke, Hikari, and Yami made there way to the forge, as they saw a badestal, as they just looked at eachother
Yami then spoke. "This is too cliché, what will go wrong".
Hikari then started too go the place were he thought the Chain was, as he looked then stepped on something.
Hikari just sighed. "Fuck".
As then the a gate open, as a giant snake came out, it looked like metal and made purely out of metal, as it was broze and had a trident on his head, with Simbles of the sea on it.
Hikari looked at the snakes. "Let me gess Boss fight and Guardian".
Luke just looked at him. "Yeah, one of the 12 Gaurdine this is the one here"
Yami looked at the snake. "Is this one ment to represent Poseidon".
Hikari nodded, scanning the giant serpent's features. "Looks like it. That trident on its head gives it away. We need to be careful. Metal snakes like this usually pack a punch."
Luke gripped his sword tighter, determination etched on his face. "So, what's the plan? We can't just charge in blindly, especially not against a creature like this."
Yami suggested, "Maybe we can use the environment to our advantage. If we can lure it into a trap or use those columns for cover, we might have a chance."
Hikari thought for a moment, glancing around the forge. "Good idea. I could use my smoke bomb to create a distraction. While it's confused, we can flank it."
As the snake let out a menacing hiss, the ground trembled beneath their feet. Hikari took a deep breath, readying himself. "Alright, let's do this. Yami, you take the left flank. Luke, follow my lead on the right. On my signal, I'll drop the smoke bomb."
They positioned themselves carefully, watching as the snake's metallic eyes locked onto Hikari. It lunged forward, and in that instant, Hikari shouted, "Now!"
He activated the smoke bomb, filling the area with a thick cloud of gray. The giant serpent recoiled, momentarily disoriented.
Yami took advantage of the distraction, launching himself into the fray with his scythe. "Let's see how tough you really are!"
As he struck at the snake, Luke followed suit, using his sword to hit its vulnerable underbelly. Hikari remained in the background, focusing on finding the perfect opening for an attack.
"Keep it occupied! I'm looking for that chain!" Hikari yelled, dodging the snake's thrashing tail.
The snake writhed in fury, trying to shake off its attackers. "You think you can defeat me? I am the guardian of this forge!" it roared, its voice echoing through the chamber.
"Yeah, well, we're not just any demigods," Luke shouted back, dodging another strike. "We've faced worse than you!"
Hikari's eyes darted around, spotting the shimmering chains hanging from the pedestal behind the snake. "There they are!" he exclaimed, determination fueling his movements.
"We can't let it block the way! Yami, get its attention!"
Yami nodded, using his scythe to make a wide arc and grab the snake's attention. The serpent turned, hissing angrily as it focused on him.
Hikari quickly made his move, rushing toward the pedestal. As he reached for the chains, the snake realized its mistake and snapped back towards him.
"Not so fast!" Hikari shouted, activating his gauntlet to block the snake's jaws. The impact sent vibrations through his arm, but he held firm.
With one swift motion, he grabbed the chains, feeling their weight in his hands. "I got them! Now let's finish this!"
Luke and Yami, seeing Hikari had the chains, fought with renewed vigor. They worked together, dodging the serpent's strikes and countering with precision. Hikari joined them, wielding the chains like a whip, striking at the giant snake.
As the battle raged on, Hikari's thoughts raced. "If we can bind it with these chains, we might be able to subdue it!"
"Let's do it!" Luke called out, using his sword to create an opening.
With a synchronized effort, they wrapped the chains around the serpent, its metallic scales clanking against each other. The snake thrashed violently, trying to break free, but the chains held firm.
Hikari tightened his grip, feeling the power of the chains flow through him. "Together now!"
They all pulled, and with a final, mighty effort, the giant snake let out a deafening roar before collapsing to the ground, subdued.
Breathing heavily, Hikari stepped back, wiping sweat from his forehead. "Is it... is it done?"
Yami approached cautiously, examining the now-dormant creature. "I think so. We did it!"
Luke grinned, slapping Hikari on the back. "Not bad for a day's work, huh?"
Hikari laughed, glancing at the chains in his hands. "Now let's get out of here before something else shows up."
As they made their way back to the exit, Hikari felt a surge of pride. They had defeated the guardian and retrieved the chains of Hephaestus. Now, it was time to see what other challenges awaited them on their quest.
The snake then gut up, as it eyes glowed red, as it started to spit fire, they jumped out of the way.
Luke just looked at the Snake. "Ok what in the second health's bar boss fight"
Hikari looked at him. "Why Hephaestus, I am ment to bee your Champion".
The giant snake rose again, its eyes glowing a fierce crimson as it unleashed a torrent of flames from its maw. Hikari, Luke, and Yami barely managed to leap to safety, feeling the heat singe the air around them.
"Okay, definitely a second health bar situation!" Luke shouted, scrambling to regain his footing. "Hikari, what's the plan? We can't just keep dodging!"
Hikari glanced at the glowing chains in his hands. "We need to take out its mobility! If we can bind it, we might be able to end this!"
Yami, catching his breath, added, "We need to be strategic. It can't spit fire forever. We just have to wait for our moment!"
As the snake coiled, preparing to strike again, Hikari summoned his gauntlet's energy, readying an attack. "Yami, create an opening for me! I'll throw the chains and bind it!"
Yami nodded, spinning his scythe and launching himself at the creature. "Hey, metal snake! Over here!" he taunted, dodging the snake's snapping jaws.
The serpent turned its focus, fury radiating from its fiery eyes as it lunged at Yami. Just then, Luke charged forward, swinging his sword in a wide arc to distract it. "Come on! Focus on me!" he yelled, landing a solid hit on the creature's flank.
The snake hissed, swinging its tail at Luke, who barely managed to dodge. "Too close!" he gasped, feeling the rush of wind from the massive appendage.
Hikari saw his chance. "Now!" he shouted, throwing the chains with all his strength. The metallic links soared through the air, wrapping around the snake's body. It thrashed violently, trying to break free, but the chains held firm.
"Yes! It worked!" Hikari exclaimed, feeling the surge of victory.
But the snake wasn't done yet. It reared back, gathering energy for another fiery breath attack. "Look out!" Luke shouted, but it was too late. The creature unleashed a massive stream of flames, engulfing the area where they stood.
The three demigods jumped out of the way just in time, but the force of the fire knocked Yami off his feet. He landed hard, his scythe skidding away. "Ugh... not good!" he groaned, trying to push himself back up.
Hikari rushed to help him. "Yami! Get up!" But as he did, the snake lunged again, its jaws wide open. Luke threw himself in front of Hikari, swinging his sword desperately to protect his friend.
"Go! Get Yami out of here!" Luke shouted as he took a glancing blow from the snake's tail, sending him crashing into a nearby column. The impact knocked the wind out of him, leaving him momentarily dazed.
"No!" Hikari yelled, watching as Luke fell. "We can't lose anyone!"
The snake, momentarily distracted, turned its attention back to Hikari, the flames flickering in its throat once more. "You think you can defeat me? I am the guardian of this forge!" it roared, its voice echoing ominously.
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Hikari shot back, gathering his courage. He activated his gauntlet, focusing the energy into a concentrated blast. "Let's see how you handle this!"
Just as the snake unleashed its fiery breath, Hikari countered with a massive pulse of energy, the two forces colliding in a blinding flash. The ground shook violently as the energy pushed against the flames, creating an explosive shockwave that sent debris flying.
When the smoke cleared, Hikari saw the snake stagger, clearly weakened but still standing. "It's not enough! We need to finish this!" he urged, turning back to Yami, who was struggling to stand up. "Can you fight, Yami?"
"I... I can try," Yami grunted, picking up his scythe with shaking hands. "But Luke... he's down. We need to take care of this quickly."
Hikari nodded, determination in his eyes. "Alright, I'll distract it. You get to a safe spot and prepare your strongest attack!"
Yami nodded, steadying himself as he aimed for a better position. Hikari charged at the serpent, dodging its strikes and slashing at its scales with the chains. The snake hissed in anger, lunging to bite him, but he rolled away, quickly regrouping.
Just then, the serpent lashed out again, this time catching Yami off guard. It managed to hit him squarely in the chest with its tail, sending him crashing against a wall. "Yami!" Hikari shouted, fear gripping him as he watched his friend collapse.
Summoning every ounce of strength, Hikari focused his energy again, launching himself at the serpent. "You're not taking any more of my friends!"
The snake roared, but Hikari was faster, wrapping the chains around its neck. He pulled with all his might, feeling the creature's strength begin to wane. "Come on! Just a little more!"
But the serpent wasn't finished. It lashed out, knocking Hikari backward. He hit the ground hard, pain shooting through him. As he looked up, he saw the serpent preparing to unleash its fiery breath again, aiming right at him.
In a last-ditch effort, Hikari shouted, "No! Not today!" He activated the full power of his gauntlet, channeling all his energy into one final attack.
The flames erupted, and Hikari, eyes blazing with determination, released the energy in a massive wave. The two forces collided in a spectacular explosion, the shockwave knocking the snake back as the flames faded.
As the dust settled, Hikari lay on the ground, breathing heavily, struggling to regain his composure. He looked over to where Luke was still on the ground, but Yami was starting to rise.
"Yami! Are you okay?" Hikari called out, worry etched on his face.
"Just... a little bruised," Yami managed, wiping blood from his lip. "But we need to finish this."
They both turned to see the serpent trying to rise again, its movements sluggish and unsteady. Hikari glanced at Yami, nodding in silent agreement.
"Together," Hikari said, pulling himself up, determination fueling him once more. "Let's finish this once and for all."
They charged at the snake, Hikari leading with the chains and Yami following with his scythe. The serpent, still recovering, lashed out weakly, but they ducked and dodged, getting closer.
With one final swing, Hikari wrapped the chains around the serpent's neck tightly, while Yami struck with his scythe, aiming for the creature's vulnerable underbelly.
The serpent let out a final, deafening roar, its body thrashing wildly as it succumbed to the combined onslaught. With one last push, Hikari and Yami pulled the chains, binding the creature completely, preventing it from escaping.
As silence fell over the forge, Hikari and Yami stood, panting heavily, their bodies battered but victorious. "We did it," Hikari breathed, looking at the now motionless snake.
"Yeah," Yami replied, leaning on his scythe for support. "But we should really check on Luke."
They hurried over to where Luke lay, still unconscious but breathing. Hikari knelt beside him, relief flooding his system. "He's still alive. Just knocked out."
Yami knelt beside them, a determined look on his face. "Let's get him up. We can't leave him behind after all this."
As they worked together to revive Luke, Hikari felt a sense of accomplishment wash over him. They had faced the guardian of the forge and emerged victorious, but he knew the journey was far from over.
"Next time," Hikari said, glancing at the chains of Hephaestus, "we'll be ready for whatever comes next."
Luke then notice something. "Is that a note".
Hikari looked at the pedestal. "Yeah looks like it"
Yami then went and picked is up. "Ok late me read it"
[To whoever finds this note,
Physc, you're shit out of luck, sucker. Oh yeah, I'm sure what you were thinking. Hey, let's go steal Hephaestus's force. He never checks it anyways. I thought the same thing. Only difference, I thought of it too. And I got here first. So, top luck, nuts bitch. These chains that you got? They are fake. Strong, but fake. From your dear friend,
-Edward Nick
Son of Hermes]
Hikari and Yami then looked at Luke, as he looked left and right.
Luke just looked at him. "Hey I don't know this one ok".
Hikari just looked at him. "Edward Nick is on the top of my shit list"
Yami looked at him. "Do you even know who he is"
Hikari looked at him. "I fucking don't, that is why I was looking at Luke".
Luke just looked at him. "Hey I mayen a son of Hermes but I don't know all my siblings, let's just leave the forge, this notes seems old".
They left the forge, before they did Hikari grabbed a toy Verison of Hades, why because he felt like this was going to save someone life one day, so they went to a hotel after sleeping, they went out deciding to go back to there quest, as then Yami spotted a magazine.
Hikari just looked at him. "What is Tony Stark got on the front page agina"
Yami looked at it. "No it is summon different, he looked like Starks age do, and his names... Edward"
Hikari took the Magazine and read. "Holy shit no wonder the name sounded fermilier, this guy's owns Half-Bloof Inc, it is on par with stark Indestry... Wait how many Demi gods own Business"
Luke looked at the Magazine. "Keep reading it"
Hikari's eyes widened as he scanned the article, his curiosity piqued. "It says here that Edward Nick is a major player in the business world, specifically in technology and weaponry. Half-Blood Inc. has been making waves for developing advanced equipment for People."
Yami leaned in closer, his interest growing. "So he's not just some random son of Hermes. He's a big deal, and if he's behind those fake chains, he could be a serious threat."
Luke furrowed his brow, trying to piece it all together. "If he's as powerful as this article suggests, why would he leave a note mocking us? It seems like he's trying to toy with us, maybe to throw us off the scent of something bigger."
Hikari nodded, his mind racing. "Or he's trying to distract us from his real plans. If he's already one step ahead, we can't underestimate him."
Flipping through the magazine, Hikari spotted an interview with Edward Nick, showcasing his charisma and intelligence. The headline read: "Innovator or Trickster? The Rise of Edward Nick". He couldn't help but be intrigued. "This guy's got charm, but it's probably all a front. Look at how he talks about manipulating the market and using his connections."
"Sounds like he's got the Hermes flair for trickery," Yami commented. "But he's playing a dangerous game if he thinks he can outsmart us."
Luke added, "We need to keep our eyes peeled. If he's out there making moves, we can't let him slip through our fingers. We might need to track him down before he pulls something else."
Hikari flipped to the back of the magazine, where there was a list of upcoming events hosted by Half-Blood Inc. "Looks like he's hosting a tech expo in two weeks. We could crash it and gather intel. Maybe figure out what he's planning."
"Sounds risky," Yami replied, "but it could also be our best chance to learn more about him. Plus, if he's there, we might get a chance to confront him directly."
Luke shrugged, a grin forming on his face. "Well, it's not like we've been playing it safe so far. What's the worst that could happen?"
Hikari closed the magazine and looked at his friends. "Alright, then it's settled. We'll head to this expo, keep our heads low, and find out what Edward Nick is really up to. But first, we need to train and prepare. We can't go in unarmed against a potential threat."
As they stepped out of the hotel, a renewed sense of determination washed over them. They had faced the giant snake, but now they had a new enemy in sight—one who was smart, cunning, and ready to play with the big boys. With their path set, they were ready to take on whatever challenges awaited them.
But as they made their way through the streets, Hikari couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning of a much larger game, one that would test their skills, their friendships, and their resolve.
