[Third Person's PoV]
Lucian thrust his arms forward, sending a bolt of his magic power, while Baba Yaga did the same. Sparks from their clash flew everywhere as they circled each other.
Baba Yaga's eyes flashed purple, causing sweat to run down the side of her face. "What a monster," she couldn't help but mumble, her face gaining an excited look.
"Thalia," Lucian called out calmly, using only one hand in their power struggle while Baba Yaga used two.
"What?" Thalia asked as she bent down to pick up her spear.
"Don't interfere," was all Lucian said as he flew higher, breaking their struggle, seeing it as pointless and a waste of magic.
Lucian's dark red glowing hands rotated in a circle, causing multiple magic circles to appear, all pointing directly at Baba Yaga.
"Hehehehe," she giggled as she raised her hands in a clenched form.
From those magic circles, multiple weapons appeared as he combined his two types of magic: Tracing magic and curses. Now each weapon was imbued with curses. Even a scratch would afflict the target with an unknown curse.
"I call this magic: Cursed Weaponry," Lucian smirked as he sent all the weapons flying toward Baba Yaga.
Whether they were axes, spears, swords, or polearms, each was golden in color.
Baba Yaga summoned her green flames, causing some of the weapons to melt upon contact. But some didn't. She flew around, dodging everything, her eyes glowing purple.
"Hehehehehehe! This is the most fun I've had in ages!" she yelled excitedly, upside down while holding her mortar and dodging the weapons.
Lucian floated in the air, moving his hands rapidly, causing the weapons that missed her to change direction and fly back toward her.
Baba Yaga rapidly rotated her hands in circles, forming a green ball of magical energy between them.
She then spread her arms, causing the ball to erupt in an explosion that hit every weapon coming her way.
The weapons then changed into little butterflies, which started to fly away gingerly. "Hehehe, tell me, boy, what is your name?"
Lucian scoffed, "I know better than to give my name to a witch so casually," he said as he prepared to throw hexes and curses her way.
His grimoire started flipping through its pages. Some pages stopped for a bit, gained a dark red hue, then continued flipping.
"Hehehe, that's probably smart. How about this: just give me your first name. Even you must know I can't do anything with just that."
As a witch, Baba Yaga was familiar with her own fair share of hexes and curses, so seeing what Lucian was doing, she started doing the same. Instead of magic circles, balls of magical energy formed around her.
With Lucian's magic circle glowing in the dark, it illuminated his figure as he looked down at Baba Yaga with his glowing red eyes. He pointed his finger at her and said,
"Very well, witch. Remember this name, and remember it well, as it will be the last name you'll ever hear. My name is Lucian, son of Medea, the Witch of Betrayal, and son of Hades, God of the Underworld."
"HEHEHEHEHE! INTERESTING! What an interesting lineage you possess, young–" Baba Yaga laughed in joy, her eyes glowing purple, but was interrupted by something unexpected.
*Squelch*
When Baba Yaga looked down, she was shocked to see a hand coming out of her chest holding her still-beating heart.
As Baba Yaga opened her mouth, green blood spewed out, staining her purple robes. "But how… *cough* *cough*... I had my Foresight activated at all times," Baba Yaga managed to say.
When she looked up toward Lucian, she saw him smirking as he slowly turned into purple mist.
Lucian, who was behind her, kicked her back, causing Baba Yaga to fly off her mortar and land on the ground with a big thud.
Staining the grass with her blood, her chest heaved as she tried to move, while Lucian slowly floated down toward her.
"What I was seeing… *cough* *cough*... they weren't my abilities, were they?" Baba Yaga asked in a low voice as her breathing became shallow.
"No," Lucian coldly admitted. "I made you believe that what you were seeing was your Foresight. First, I implanted in you what I was going to do next and executed it exactly. When you grew confident, I knew it was my moment to strike."
"Hehehe, truly a frightening child. I take it back, I take it all back. Your mother must have taught you well."
"Admitting it isn't going to save you from what I'm about to do next." Lucian reached out and plucked out her eyes.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Baba Yaga screamed in agony.
As Lucian pulled her eyeballs out, the optic nerves came with them. He had to stretch them slightly until they snapped, causing Baba Yaga further agony.
"YOU MONSTER, YOU DEMON CHILD, CURSE YOU, CURSE YOU, WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?" Baba Yaga cried out as she slowly started to turn to dust.
Lucian quickly pulled out two containers and one small leather bag, all enchanted with preservation spells. He placed the eyeballs and the beating heart in the containers, while he used his magic to will the dust into the bag.
Thalia, standing to the side, held her stomach as she vomited. "What is wrong with you! That's disgusting!"
"Stop being such a big baby. Eyes that could see into the future are a lot more valuable than you can possibly imagine."
"Still doesn't make it any less disturbing…" Thalia said, wiping her mouth.
"Hold that thought."
"Arise," Lucian said in a deep voice.
Two figures emerged. One was Baba Yaga. When she appeared, both Lucian and Thalia stared, their eyes wide and mouths agape.
Instead of the old lady with a hunched back and a large nose, in front of them floated a busty woman with thick thighs and large breasts, while her nose was small and cute, like a button. Her face and skin the same color as Lucian's magic: dark red.
She sat cross-legged on her broom, causing her short black dress to rise up her thighs while she tipped her large black witch hat toward Lucian.
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" both Lucian and Thalia shouted, pointing at the seductress of a witch.
The busty section witch let out a cute giggle as she covered her mouth, "Why of course, I'm Baba Yaga, silly Master"
"THE HELL YOU ARE!" Both Lucian and Thalia said at the same time, causing Baba Yaga to let out small giggles.
She put her hand on her chin in a pondering manner. "I still can't tell how you managed to trick my foresight. It should have been impossible with just a mist illusion."
Thalia and Lucian looked at each other before Lucian stepped forward and began to explain, "It was all thanks to Curse Weaponry."
"But none of the weapons hit me," Baba Yaga said, tilting her head in confusion.
"Oh, but one did. It was a small dagger. The curse on it was pain nullification, which meant you couldn't feel it. I then surrounded it in purple mist to obscure it and make it invisible, and used the power of my shadow to make it almost undetectable.
With your entire focus on the weapons flying around trying to hit you, you missed the small dagger that managed to scratch your cheek. As it scratched you, a bit of the purple mist entered the cut and your system, making tricking your senses practically easy."
Baba Yaga clapped her hands rapidly. "Impressive, using the magic from your other weapons to mask it as well, making it even more undetectable. I applaud your cunningness."
"How is she talking?" Thalia finally asked.
"I can talk as well," Golurk said as he approached Lucian with the second shadow that came to life… a house with chicken feet.
Thalia waved off Golurk. "You were a god, that's different."
Lucian began to ponder about what had given Baba Yaga the ability to talk. 'The Sequence! That's right! My ability grows the higher Sequence I am. Making some of my shadows talk was just a small boon. But I think they need to be at a necessary strength to be able to actually talk, which Baba Yaga just so happened to naturally have.'
"Wait, why do you look like that and not like the old green granny?"
"This is how I originally looked. I used to test potions on myself to see what effects they would have on me. Due to the accumulation of all the potions, my skin started to turn green and my nose became that abnormal shape. What you are witnessing right now is how I originally looked in my prime," Baba Yaga proudly said as she puffed up her chest, causing it to jiggle back and forth.
